9 Chapter 9

It's been days since Yang Lan's brothers came. Their home were finally finished and had already started business. The restaurant has been opened for three days since then but no custumer has eaten yet.

Yang Lan was the cook but he only cooked fried rice. They were mercenaries so he never practiced cooking before. In their missions they would always bring dried meat or hunt animals and cook them in a bonfire.

Du Hong helped him in the kitchen, He would prepare the ingredients and wash the dishes. Xu Bai was in charge of the cashier and Shao Jin was the waiter.

Everything was carefully planned but for some reason no customer has come.

Since there was no customers, they decided to close soon but at that moment a woman entered. Yang Lan knew her, she was Song Lan. She sat at a table and waited to be attended.

Shao Jin gave her the menu and when she saw it she was surprised. There was only 'fried rice' and 'water' written in it. And it was even overpriced. 100 yuan for a plate and 10 yuan for a glass of water. She didn't know if they joking so she asked Shao Jin.

"Excuse me, did you guys write the price wrong?"

Shao Jin had a wide smile in his face since it was their first custumer, "Miss there's nothing wrong with the price. The one who set it is the chef."

Song Lan thought that their fried rice would be special due to the price so she decided to try it. "I'd like to try your fried rice."

"Wait for a while Miss." Shao Jin turned around and went to the kitchen. "Yang Lan we have a costumer and she's beautiful."

"Oh, what did she order." Yang Lan said indifferently.

"What else can she order? Prepare a plate of fried rice now." he said a bit annoyed.

When it was finished Shao Jin took the plate to the table, "Miss here's your food. Please enjoy it."

The plate was normal, it didn't have any decoration or whatsoever. When she tasted it, her eyes brimmed. The taste was plain. It just tasted as a normal fried rice that you could buy in the street.

"How was it Miss? Was it good?" Shao Jin asked her while grinning.

"It was ok." She said.

At that moment Yang Lan left the kitchen and walked over Song Lan. "We meet again Miss Song. Did you like your food."

Song Lan was a bit awkward, "Your food is unique."

"Thanks for the compliment. I hope you come back." He said while smiling.

When she saw his smile, her face blushed. She didn't know why her heart beat so fast so she immediately got up and left.

Yang Lan scratched his head, 'Why did she suddenly leave' he thought.

As he was cleaning the table, he heard a scream. It was Song Lan. He went outside and saw a black van leave. The rest also went outside.

"What was that scream?" Shao Jin asked.

"I think Miss Song got kidnapped." Yang Lan guessed. "Zero look at the surveillance cameras and find out what happened."

It only took three seconds for Zero to finish checking, [ Master a group of people came and kidnapped Miss Song. I already tracked them down.] A hologram suddenly appeared in his watch. It was a mini map and a red dot.

"Let's get going, we can't let our first customer to be harmed in any way." The four of them got on the car and followed the kidnappers.
