the Catastrophe

the moment that the players had gone missing from their world, they had traveled to a mysterious world which was very familiar to some of them, this event would later be known as the catastrophe,

this brings us to the current situation,

a man wearing guardian clothes can be seen talking to the people of the land,

he then walked around the strange town which looked like ancient ruins of modern Akihabara, he watched as many people wearing strange clothing were crying in despair or shouting in rage, but he also found that his fellow shinobi were all calm and collected while searching for information here and there while at the same time making sure to watch their backs for a surprise attack, although for a shinobi this was normal.

Naruto VR was such a game, in this world, unlike the other games, the player did not have monsters to kill and gain exp, no, the world was supposed to work as real as possible, hence there were only two ways to get stronger, taking missions from the village to hone their skills, or kill another player to gain exp and level up, thus it was very common for everyone in the game to always watch their backs and collecting information whenever an unknown situation occurs,

at least it was supposed to be like that, Ren was no longer sure if they were in the game anymore, the texture of the ground, the air in his lungs, the feeling of chakra flowing through him, it was far too real for him to think of a VR,

however, the thing that was eating him was why is it that the shinobi were transferred into this world, which if what he was hearing from people around him was true, a recreation of another game

as he was contemplating these things, he suddenly heard a ping in his head, this was the voice call from the game, with practiced ease, he mentally commanded the console to open the call,

"Ren??, are you there??" came a gruff voice which made Ren feel relieved,

"yuuji? so you were also logged in to the game?" he said to which the voice hummed

"where are you??" ren asked to which the man replied,

"I am on the broadcast station, or what remains of it anyway" immediately ren took off, the speed at which he ran was impossible for any of the elder tale players to catch,

when he spotted the said building he directly went towards the building and stopped at the foot of the building,

"well, if it is anything like the game i should be able to do it without any problem" he mumbled, he then slowly stuck his leg on the wall and tried to walk up but fell,

"as i thought, the system has changed" he mumbled then a message came from yuuji,

'use your chakra, the warm energy you feel in your body' it read, ren raised an eyebrow at the realism of all this and did as said, as a veteran player of a VR game, it was fairly easy for him to manipulate something that was foreign to his original body, he channeled a small amount of chakra to his feet and climbed the wall to the top, once he reached the top he stopped and checked his status,
