Her Confession: True Or False

"I... aa... I..."

"I... What!!"

"Rooh, I..."

(Silent for a while)

Both faced each other, but couldn't match our eyes. Both could hear the heartbeats. And, finally, I break the silence,

"I like you, Aarush!!"

And, he looked at me with little surprised expression.

"Do you have to say the same?" I asked (blushing).

"I... I think… We should go now...!" he replied, but I was disheartened.

And, with tears, I said, "You leave!! I'll reach home by my own. I don't want to share a car with you... (Walked, and looking to a car, and, ignored his face)"

I started walking, and Aarush feels bad that, he didn't answer my proposal, I walked few steps and left the beach location. Meanwhile, Aarush followed me with his car. I could see him following me, but he left me to walk alone if I want to, as he made me disappointed. Few steps across, I could find that, it's 4 in the evening and city is getting crowded near beach. Blindly, I crossed the road before the red signal changes, Aarush could see me, and parked the car as it is and rushed to catch me before any accident happens.

The moment I realized that I'm crossing the road in a wrong light, I found that, city bus is approaching and I thought I would die this time. So, I closed my eyes through my hands and shouted. Till then, I was in air and when I opened my eyes I found myself under the arms of Aarush. The crowd gathered around us and shouted, "Are you mad?" "Want to die?" "Don't you have eyes?" and so on. Except his voice, "You okay?" Aarush apologizes all and we walked near his car. I tried to remove his hand from my shoulder and said, "I don't want to go with you" "leave me" "Alone!!"

He said after me, "Don't me stupid, Rooh!! I don't want to leave you alone here!! So please, sit in the car!!"

I replied with full of anger, "I won't talk with you anymore... (Opened the back seat door and I sat there)"

He said, "Why are you sitting there?"

Within no seconds, I said, "It's like, you were appointed to protect me, so I'll behave the same one again, who never loved you... I mean I liked you, but this time I'll try that I may hate you...from my heart... How could someone be so rude?"

With a weird expression, he nodded and opened the door, and we ride. As soon as we reached, I quickly opened the door, ignoring what he want to say, walked inside, search for my phone, and went straight to my room, without even looking Aarush, who entered the house right now, even if I could hear him calling me by my name.

True, two brains were out of control, two hearts were fluttering, two souls were connecting, yes, it's true that we both knew that we like each other, but, he never accepted my feelings, or is it because of this mission, he never want me to come closer or create a bond. I opened my diary and started writing the whole story of the day. The moments, I remembered back again, felt back again, he doesn't know that, I went to walk just to see the city, not because I was upset. But, the moment I realized that my phone was left back there, I found myself relief that he might come to see me here, he'll definitely find me. And, see, he was there. I already noticed a man sitting at the corner walls near bridge, just to see me doing fine. I could see him taking my pictures at random, but I do not let him know about it as I really want to know his feelings for me.

Even I knew the game rules, I chose not to be known person, and stood just beside him, so that I could touch him once. I don't know whether he notices me or not. I tried a lot to look into his eyes when it's my turn to pass it to Aarush. The game was fun, I don't know, what happened in the end, when we were this close like a double quoted symbol. I just couldn't control myself and simply confessed my feelings. Even I don't know, whether he feels good, blushed, angry or upset. 'Doesn't he want to talk about it?' I thought and with smile continued my writing.

In the other room, Aarush standing beside the window, watching the city lights, and crowded road, but wears a constant smile, as he now knew that I like him. As, he knew that, what happened today, should repeat in future too, moving out may be dangerous. Concern apart, he dreamed of happiness he wants to give to me. But, it may be possible that, he gets addicted to be with me, so he decides that he'll not confesses but, turn my feelings in the opposite direction. What if he starts loving me then?

Then he found lots of paper scrolling into his room, later he checked his phone which was kept silent since he was on his way to find me. Now, he changed the setting and, found lots of messages from me, like, "How are you!? Sorry!! Not an intention to hurt you!! I was actually joking!! That was a fun, so that you notice me!!?" and so on. He knew that, what I'm doing right now is definitely a fraud trick to cover up that earlier incident, which was something called true feelings.

(Another beep sound)

"Sharon wants to talk with, meet up as soon as possible, he's not ganging up with terrorists but, planning all the events on his own. His carrying lots of recent pictures of Rooh, playing with dogs and kids!!!! Also, he said just one line that, he's doing this, so as to get Rooh with him, 'cause "he loves her".....", a message from General.

On the other side, I'm shouting, "Hey!! Aarush, I was kidding, I really not mean it, I just tried to mock it, at that time, you look so serious, and that's why I did it..." (deep inside I knew it, that I like him, but looking his condition in just simple three words, I was scared, that may be I'll upset him or may hurt him...that's why I changed the topic this time)

And, he doesn't open the door any more, and I walked sadly in my room....
