17 Chapter 17: Death in The Family

A long trail of blood followed Victor as he dragged himself and his son out of the wreckage of the car and further into the street. The street itself remained desolate. No help in sight. The driver had carried them to the most abandon part of the city filled with junkyards. A pillar of steam rose into the air from the belly of the upside-down car. Victor now tired of dragging himself and his unconscious son's body gave up and lay hopelessly on his back. With his face covered in bruises and blood, Victor carefully then parted his jacket to reveal that there was a chunk of metal lodged deeply into his right side. He tried to touch it, but when he did, he quickly had to remove his hand from it as the site was very sensitive and painful. Victor tenderly turned his attention to Terry, who was also in a serious condition himself. Half of his head had swollen considerably, indicating that he may have hit his head hard during the collision.
