I awoke to giggling in the Kitchen. Which means Sebastian, Alice's boyfriend was over.

Those two were always giggling and whispering. Hell they were Inlove and I envied them and their love.

He treated her as though she was the only woman in the world. I was happy for her she was my BestFriend and deserves the world. He was a Wolf Shifter. Sebastian was 6'4 and a muscle head. He was always at the gym. He had a Tribal tattoo, Full sleeve on his right arm. It stood for his Ancestors. He has jet black hair and matching eyes. Alice is 5'3 but curvy in all the right places. Brown Hair and Matching eyes. She's a Witch. The best of kinds too. I smirked walked out to the living room which happened to have our kitchen in it. Alice and Sabastian were in there talking in hushed tones. Alice giggling. "Clara!" Alice shouted smiling at me shoving Sebastian away playfully.

"Don't mind me, just getting a bowl of cereal." I said play covering my face smiling back at her.

Sebastian nodded. " Hi Clara." He shook his head at Alice. She Smiles even bigger and sheepishly walks over to you.

"So me and Sebastian were thinking... Maybe we could set you up with a Shifter from his pack." She blurted out jumping up and down excitedly. You almost couldn't believe or register what she said. I looked at her for a moment in amazed horror and shock. She took this time to continue.

"We just thought maybe you would enjoy someone who is good hearted and who will treat you right... Or give you an amazing orgasm." The last part she whispered, rolling her eyes nonchalantly.

I choked on my lucky charms and Sebastian spit coffee all over himself. Of Course super hearing was a wolf gift. "Well when you put it that way." I said embarrassed.

"I Know I have crappy lame luck with men. But can we leave Sebastian out of my business." I continued to my bedroom getting dressed.

"I'm sorry I just feel bad. You have so much to offer. I don't want you missing outon a good guy who would make you happy. Please think about it?" She said giving me a puppy pout and holding her hands together in a begging manner.

"I will go on a date with him as long as he not a 30 year old weirdo living in his mothers basement." She jumped up and down at my response.

"Promise they are perfect. No Weirdo liveins with over bearing mothers." She said running off into the living room back to Sebastian.

As I finished dressing I realized she said. "They". But didn't have time to argue and I figured she has a backup incase I didn't like one or they didn't like me. Finally done and went to work.

I work as a Nurse in a small broken down clinic for Magical Beings. It doesn't look so safe but I find it charming and homely. Pluse the Patients are so kind and Appericiative when they are helped and healed. Here they are often forgotten on this side of town. By even their own kinds. Thats why I do this. Because I care about the Underdogs. The long Forgotten.. Me.

"Morning." You say to Halford. He is one of the only doctors that still come here. Mid 30's 6'2 and slender. He smiles at you and waves an unnaturally tan hand at you. He's a Shifter except unlike Sebastian who Shifts into a Wold Halford Shifts into a Tiger. And he has an Austrailian Accent.

"Morning.. I was hoping today you were working. Martha is not so kind to patients. They prefer you." He said shaking his head. "But yet you keep her around." I said grabbing charts from my desk.

"Yes well you forget no one else wants to work here because of the neighborhood. Infact Dr.Mitchell put her resignation from this clinic this morning. In so as of two hours ago I am the only Doctor here." He said typing on his computer. Lips pressed into a line of frustration. He always seemed sp serious yet around me he tried to relax and be more optimistic. "What will that mean for the clinic?" I asked already knowing the answer. He shook his head. "I don't know.I am bringing in enough payments to keep it going. Not sure for how long though." I gave him a small smile.

Martha came storming in cursing at the top of her lungs into her phone. Me and Halford both Frowned.

"For human she has alot of hostility buildt up." He said smilling again. "Well we are all secretly Hostile." You said winking at him jokingly. "Not you . Your Calm. Kind. Your quiet charming. Patients Love you." He said clearing his throat as he realized how he sounded. Horror crossed his face. Unsure how to respond you smirk and hand him a chart to a patient in room three.

"Child age seven with acidic burns all over his right arm." He nods taking cue. "Going in... And Clara.. Thank you." He walking into the patients room with a smile on his face and the Chart in his hand.

He was truly a sweet person. But no matter how sweet or kind he would only ever be a friend. He was there for me when I needed him when it came to the divorce from Aaron. And I work with him. Besides I have a date this weekend and I am really nervous.

Time to close up so Halford walks you to your vehicle. "Thank you for the Chivalary and the walking me to my car." You teased. "No Problem it's the least I can do after the way I behaved earlier." He smiled nervously running the back of his neck. "I don't know what you are talking about?" You say nudging him with your elbow. You get in your vehicle. "Goodnight Halford." He shuts it behind you and nods his farewell.

You finally make it to your apartment building and as you enter the door you run into someone. Causing you to drop your purse and spilling everything out.

"Shit I am so sorry. I didn't see yo-." And just like that your heart stops at the sight of a very tall man with glowing Gold eyes staring at you smiling.
