97 Blackmail

At Jardin de Fleuri,

"Boss!" - DingLian said... "Boss, have you found young master? we've been looking for yo..." she was cut mid-sentence by MaoSi.

"I am not sure.. what's your relationship with them, but you're still under medication treatment and you don't have that be so excited."

That was the first thing heard once they entered the manor.

"Lian, what happened to you? why did you become like this?" - AiChen said when she recognized the woman who called her and her husband boss.

"Nothi.."

"If you are going to say nothing...better think twice, your situation is very complex it's a question... how you are still alive." - MaoSi again interrupted. Then look at AiChen and Wei - "Did she woke up?"

"She woke up 3 hours ago. Chen is still there looking over her." - Wei responded.

"Alright, I'll go check on her. You can talk with them, but don't express your emotion that much, you're heart is still under observation." - MaoSi said before leaving them to chat with each other.

DingLian couldn't that the supposed ordinary day she expected to become the most unexpected one. Firstly that there is a treatment for her situation that has a 100% chance of her surviving unlike what the doctors said that even if they will do surgery 80% of it is a higher possibility of her dying or just wait for to die.

Secondly, finding their boss again. The boss that she and her husband has been looking ever since they disappeared while looking for the young master.

In their talks, she finds what had happened and why they didn't contact them for a long time.

MaoSi was checking and treating XiennaYan broken bones so that it'll not take much longer time for the bones to heal.

Not long after, MuChen phone vibrated.

Checking it was a file send by his men who were investigating the people behind the attack of XiennaYan.

"I have to go out and make a quick call. Just tell me once you're finished here." - MuChen said to MaoSi as he walked out the room.

Outside the room,

Muchen checked the files send to him before contacting his men.

'Anonymously send these files to them... gave them a bit of idea what we will do next, I want to see how far do they think they can last.' - MuChen said to the men on the other line.

After ending the call he made another call... this time he contacted his friend whose family has been known for their political power and has ties with the military general.

'LuQi, do me a little favor.' - MuChen said directly once the call was connected.

'MuChen? Wait I'll hand over the phone to Qi...' - the woman on the other line said.

'Chen... TheAh said you're asking for a favor? what is it?' - LuQi said once he got the phone.

'Hmm, investigate the Ye family misused political power... Have them removed in all positions they are at.'

'Huh? what happened? why do I have to check their dirty laundry.' - LuQi asked.

'I'll send you some files...' - MuChen didn't answer LuQi and just hang up the phone without explaining.

After making that call he goes back to XiennaYan room.
