Two Many Deity

God and has forsaken the world, and now it is starting to rot. The demons ravage the lands of Earth, growing ever stronger, threatening all existents of creation. As if matters weren't bad enough, God is dying and his followers have forsaken his teachings. To save God and all of creation, the archangel, Angis, sends the angels Aaron and Eris down to Earth to regain the trust of their followers and raise an army to stop the demon army's onslaught. But in order to descend to Earth they must give up their powers and become "human". After giving up their powers and descending to Earth, the fallen angels must learn how to regain their powers, all the while the demons slaughter and pillage all living creatures and their lands. As Aaron and Eris walk this horrific and deadly path, they learn that the world is not all that holy as God said it to be, in fact it's much darker than they imagined. None the less, they must raise an army and defeat the demon lord to protect what they hold most dear or else the world will be lost. Or so they think.
