Zeroll didn't paid much attention to the notifications, everyone was busy chomping down the food. Darius and Bryon both were extremely hungry as well.
After both of them were rescued, by the stranger, they soon found out the truth about who Zeroll actually was. He was the lord they have been reading about since their child hood! Their respect for him skyrocketed. Not only that, their lord even used his soldiers to slay the biggest and tastiest beasts in the jungle. All the thoughts about humans and orcs were soon forgotten.
"Thanks for your help today." Nissa said.
She was on a stroll inside the castle with Zeroll by her side.
"Don't mention it." Zeroll replied with his ever radiant smile.
It was already night time, and Nissa persuaded Zeroll to stay the night there. While most of the elites, prepared to leave the castle and head towards Livania, the capital and the first city of the kingdom of Lugan and now Vyham (the city of vampires) became the second city of his kingdom.
"We still have to sign the blood pact." Nissa said leading them to a room. The room was similar to the throne room except the curtains were drawn, and the room was dimly lit and many people wearing black robes were standing around a table in a circle. "Please follow me."
"...alright." Zeroll nodded and went inside the room to sit next to Nissa.
Are they going to drink my blood or what? Zeroll thought. He looked at the people wearing black robes... he was shocked! The people didn't have a face!
"What are these?" He asked.
"Traitors. Who betrayed the family even after forming a blood pact. They are here to remind about the consequences of breaking the pact. Let's begin now shall we?"

"Yeah." Zeroll replied.
Nissa then drew out two knives and tossed one of the knives towards Zeroll. She then cut her palm and immediately mahogany coloured blood rushed out of her palm. She then signaled Zeroll to do the same which he did. She then extended her bloody have towards him and placed her hand on his, and the blood started glowing bright red.

A man in his late fifties sighed heavily as he entered his room mansion. He was wearing a military uniform. He had just returned from a secret meeting about a mysterious person who destroyed one of the best teams of human empire single handedly. But that wasn't all, somehow he was able to control over a large army of monsters as well.
"Niall would've known what to do is he was here." The man murmured looking at a photo from when he was young and in the army along with Niall, who later went on to become the President of the European human empire.
And apparently was killed by a group of monsters. Everyone believed it but not him. He knew no mere monster would've been able to take a beast like Niall down. Further the one who reported this incident was suspicious himself, Wong always had problems with Niall.
The man himself wanted to lead an investigation against Wong, but before he could do anything, someone killed Wong and now ruled over the impregnable fortress. It didn't bothered him a bit, the killers avenged Niall for all he cared. But the higher ups didn't have the same ideology.
"Uncle John you're back?" A female's voice came out from one of the other rooms. "Just wait a bit dinner would be prepared soon."
"Take your time, kiddo." John O'Connor replied.
"Uncle I'm an adult and independent woman I'm not a kid anymore." Lesley, John's niece, pouted.
"Haha okay okay I won't call you kiddo anymore."
"That's better."
Like father like daughter, John thought, thinking about her late father who left his daughter in his care.
