"Tell me exactly what happened!" Nissa shouted and got up from the throne she was sitting on.

"They were attacked by some humans, they seem to know that we are vampires. Everyone except Byron and Darius have been killed, we don't know how they managed to do so." Lucia replied.

"Even if they did know about us how were they able to kill so many of us!"

"We don't know... " Lucia mumbled.

Byron and Darius both were elite ranking vampires and this were immune to the basic weaknesses of vampires. Maybe that was the reason they were still alive but the rest of the vampires who went along with them weren't. But why would the humans attack them? Zeroll didn't know the reason nor that he cared about it. The system had made it clear, he had to help and save Byron and Darius.

"I have to face them. Sorry Lord Zeroll but we'll have to postpone this meeting for a later time." She said and started walking towards the exit, "Get the warriors ready. Wet are leaving right no-"

"Don't bother your guards with something so trivial." Zeroll said, interrupting Nissa.

Nissa turned around to face Zeroll who was already holding the blades of calamity. all of his summons were ready to battle as well.

"You couldn't possible expect me to agree with your request, after all you are but a guest here. We can't have you risking your life on the line for us."

"I thought you wanted to form an alliance within me and as far as I'm concerned, helping you and your kind is a responsibility that I have to fulfill."

Nissa was speechless she never thought someone would be willing to risk his life for her kind. As she was lost in her thought, one could easily get cheeks turning into a reddish shade. She was really touched by Zeroll's words, but little did she know Zeroll was only doing it because the system told him to.

"Very... very well then! Let's go." she said.

"I can handle it on my own, you don't need to come." Zeroll replied.

"They don't know who you are, that may cause some complications."

"Alright alright, let's go then." Zeroll finally gave up on the idea of fighting alone and walked to the castle's entrance with Nissa at his toes. Once at the gates, he summoned Bruno and Laksah, both of them were great at hunting and locating targets. While Bruno had excellent sense of smell, Laksah's eyesight was no joke either and could locate his targets while flying miles above them. Zeroll ordered Laksah to fly over the enchanted forest and report at once if he finds anything, while he planned on riding Bruno along with Nissa. Zeroll then summoned every centaur in his arsenal as the centaurs were fast and intelligent creatures who would help him a lot in the search and rode towards the forest.

The forest wasn't any ordinary forest either. It was one of the only forest located in the barren lands of Earth. The forest was tremendously huge, bright, and verdant. Its canopy was marked by magnolia, beech, and willow, and some mutated trees, even though the forest was thick, sufficient twinkling lights bursted through their crowns of the trees. There were bundled creepers, who were embraced by many trees, and a potpourri of flowers, which blossomed brightly, were a welcome change in the otherwise amber forest grounds. But don't get fooled by these flowers either, they were deadly as most of them were poisonous. A discord of wild noises could be heard as well, most of which were foraging beasts and monsters, the howling and screeching were out of sync with the rustling of the leaves and branches of the tree.

It was Nissa's first time riding a beast who was so fast she nearly got knocked off twice, but Zeroll was able to grab her at the last second.

"Hold me tighter!" Zeroll said, immediately regretting his decision as Nissa grabbed him tighter her breasts pressing against his back.

"Think about Ashira... Think about Ashira..."

Zeroll kept repeating it in his mind.

"You're a powerful man, Nissa's a powerful female, you're both compatible with each other." Xorzorud voice echoed inside Zeroll's mind.

"Keep your thoughts to yourself." Zeroll thought.

Both Bruno and Laksah found the vampires nearly at the same time. Zeroll immediately recalled Laksah back as he didn't want to lose the element of surprise. He also instructed the centaurs to slow their pace.

"What's the headcount of the enemy?" Zeroll asked the system.

• Total headcount of enemy forces: 368•

"What are Orcs doing with the humans?"

"Orcs?" Nissa inquired.

"Yeah there are some Orcs along with humans. You have any idea why would they work with the humans?" Zeroll asked.

"The castle we reside in were once ruled by the Orcs maybe they are still sore about it. I knew I should have killed them all but Darius didn't want us to do so. He spared their life sadly I don't think Orcs around be so forgiving."

"Don't worry, they both will live."

Although it was clear why Orcs were doing this but why would the humans collude with them? Weren't they under oath to kill each and every monster on this planet?
