Two days before....

Xi Jian arrived at the scene not long after Zou Ci gave him information. He and his men combed the last road where the car was seen. No one was found there. Not the kidnappers or Ling Yue. The situation around him was so calm and quiet.

They found bloodstains on the street. Xi Jian's heart seemed to be squeezed by invisible hands.

"I hope this isn't your blood, Ling Yue." he whispered.

"Keep looking for the slightest hint left behind." Gan Ji ordered his flock.

"Hey, Gan Ji!" faintly heard someone shouting to him. "Come here!"

Gan Ji looked in various directions but the one who called him was nowhere to be seen. "Where are you?"

"Looks like the injured person fell here." He said after Gan Ji and the others had found him in the middle of thatch grass.

"Quickly take this blood sample and ask our colleague to check it." Gan Ji turned to his boss who had already returned to his car.
