Linda's POV

"Oh...my God, I heard what happened!" Is Leah's first statement as she stumbles into the infirmary,looking teary eyed and all, with her blond hair looking wind blown rather than showing the fact that she'd been running her hands through them and so she as always looks picture perfect. She could most definitely become miss universe.

" I miss universe with this title of mine hope to one day restore peace to every troubled heart in the world. I promise to beat up every bad guy in the world and everyone who messes with me. I miss universe promise to cry for each and everyone of you, to take away your heartache and every pain you might ever feel . oh you poor poor people!" She waves them off with huge tear droplets rolling down her cheeks.

" Oh...my God,she's in shock! "

What is it with me and my wild imaginations today. " I'm fine Leah chill."

" are you sure? " she wipes her tears with the back of her hand and still no mascara smears on her face.

Could I be her for just like two minutes .

Hello o'l annoying me.

" she's talking to you right now isn't she ?" Leah asks cocking her head slightly to the right.

I blush out of embarrassment " uhm...how did you know again? "

She narrows her eyes at me while both sides of her lips curve slightly.

Yeah I rolled my eyes.

We start laughing at my usual abnormal behavior.

She starts tearing up again and I'm tempted to give her sleeping pills or seal her mouth shut with duct tape. " he could have killed you and I'd have been left best friendless in this wicked world. Luke Matthew should be punished. He's a bully , an unwanted... "

Here we go again. This is where she says blah blah blah... and I pay absolutely no attention because it all rounds up to our rights being abused and she being hurt because the villain known as Luke Matthew still roams free while his victims Scurry away in fear. In other words. Let's take action mate!

" he was already punished, he was given detention. "

" that's not enough" she says with a pouty face.

I sigh and come down the bed, wincing slightly at the pain from my ribs.

" Give me the hood." Leah rolls her eyes and hands it over " now, here's the thing Leah, in every aspect of our lives there's always going to be the annoying jocks and high school bitches who feel they're way better than us and who will always find it a necessity to exert their almighty power on us. You get the gist. "

we both sigh sadly and make our way out of the infirmary after getting the final check up done by the nurse.

Just as we step outside, I'm tempted to run back inside and hide under the bed. Not only are there people staring at us through the open cafeteria doors but also standing before us is the school queen bee Alexia Fox and her minions.

" so just how bad were you injured? " she asks curiously with that bitchy glint in her eyes that says she's totally enjoying my predicament.

Before I can reply Alexia , Leah beats me to it by replying with a dangerous glint in her eyes. " I do believe that is absolutely none of your business, A...le...xis ."

" you stupid bitch. It's A...le...xia." Winnie Alexia's latest minion replies with heat.

" yeah it is " ally, Kathy and nathy reply like the perfect minions.

Meanwhile Alexia who had earlier narrowed her eyes at us smiles with a fox like glint in her eyes. Now I see why her name suits her.

She's about to yank my hair backward when suddenly she's on the floor and it seems like the whole school has gone silent.

I swear I can hear a pin drop two classes down. I turn around and everyone is staring at me in shock. I just pushed Alexia fox down. I freaking pushed her down! Just how much trouble do I love causing for myself?.

I don't know are you counting?

I feel like fleeing down the hallway but I look down and she's still in shock.

But she recovers. Her eyes narrow and I start praying for the ground to open up and swallow me.

" you..." she says in her screechy voice but is suddenly interrupted when the king of Silverado high walks in completely engulfing the school with his presence.

Now I just pray to die ten paces faster than I presently am..

Alexia's minions help her up faster than I can blink and before I know it Luke is standing beside her glaring at me and Leah while the hallway is empty all of a sudden.

Dun...dun...dun...dun...

Yeah I already know I am in trouble!

" she pushed me baby! " Alexia screeches loudly.

I think the sound of her voice is actually more painful than the beating I took.

" uhh... Looking for someone to fight for you?how sad." Leah says like she's soothing a baby.

" Leah let's go." I say with my head down and trying to avoid Leah's number one plan, to cause a fight.

" Scared Linda? " Alexia asks in a soft voice.

I look up and see Luke still glaring at me and his annoying girlfriend smirking at me .

If only glares could kill.

I don't know what the hell comes over me but I stand up straight, smirk right back and give her the sassiest reply I can think of. " no I'm not scared, I'm just trying to make sure I don't embarrass you in front of your boyfriend. "

Yeah that is kind of a bit lame.

Luke's glare drops as does his jaw and that of the others in the popular clique.

Leah looks kind of shocked at first but then a proud glint comes into her eyes and she suddenly looks like she's trying to hold her self from laughing.

Or maybe what I said wasn't so lame after all.

" hey bff what do you say we leave these jaw slacked losers? " I ask her.

" totally. " she says linking her arms with mine.

We start walking off with the most sassy behavior we can muster, I look back for a minute flipping Luke the bird. His face turns red with anger .

We're almost out of the hallway when Luke calls my name .

I and Leah turn with mirror expressions on our face - an eyebrow raised.

" I'm gonna get you for that detention. " he says smirking and possibly hoping to see me afraid.

But I smirk right back and reply sarcastically " uhh... I'm shaking with fear."

I and Leah burst out laughing and still sass it out of there.

Guess I'm tired of this bull. Or just digging my own grave. Whatever the consequences I'm proud to have stood up to them.
