7 Knight

After three years.....

I've become the commander of the Collin's Knight. If you are asking if I am still the knight of Lady Collins is yes. The first year of my training is not that hard because I have great skills to be compared to a knight so they didn't have difficulty training me. Also, the Duke didn't expect me to finish my training in 8 months and she didn't stop mocking the Duke that she was right to make me a knight. That's why the Duke didn't argue anymore and fortunately, he was thankful that she makes me agree to her. I also found out what they talked about after breakfast so she should be thankful to me that I stand by my words.

So I didn't have a choice so I agree and there is an opportunity to grab on since I can easily access the library at the capital. And that's also what we talked about with Lady Miary for my agreement and did not complain to his father.

Flashback Three years ago...

After breakfast, I followed lady Collins into her room and I waited for her to explain what's going on.

"Avy, Please be my knight," she said. I wondered why.

"Why? I am just a traveler who is seeking an answer and looking for a book in every library here. Also, I am not interested to be your knight." I said with a boring look.

"Avy I can see a great potential on you becoming a knight." She said but I don't think she is serious.

"My answer is still no Milady. I am thankful for the generosity but I am not interested in becoming a knight. As compensation, I will tell the Duke that I can't be a knight so I will bear the fault" I answered as I am going to the door when she grabs my hand.

"Please Avy, I'll help you look for answers and I'll guarantee that you will have easy access to libraries here. Do you know that you can not enter some of the big libraries here, don't you?" She said so I confronted her and thought it would be a hassle then but maybe she is tricking me again and I can't back out.

"You are not tricking me again, are you?" I ask.

"No, I promise. There is a pass on going in. You can ask the Duke if you want." she said and she looked sincere so I agree.

"Okay, I agree. Keep your promise Lady Miary." I said and I smiled wildly.

End flashback...

And that is what happened but she tricked me again because only two libraries needed a pass which is the royal library and the noble library though she did not lie to that it has a pass but she did not tell me that it was only two. So sometimes I no longer believe her since she tricked me many times already.

Being in the Duke's mansion is really hard for me to conceal my identity since I should be always wary of my surroundings. Lady Miary almost figured out my identity many times, fortunately, I was able to hide it. She even goes to my room when I was taking a bath or she keeps on clinging to me so I wrapped my chest doubled and my waist just to conceal the shape of my body. She even visits me after the training that we go to take a bath but I take a bath in my room.

She really trained me well sometimes and she is really good in case it is just brutal sometimes because she overdoes it.

I think Ian becomes a great knight like me after his training three years ago or maybe he finishes his training within 6 months. I did not encounter him when we visited the palace and I can not ask randomly if they know where is Ian. I do not want to ask her directly where he is because I told her that I am the one and only child of my parents. So, I did not take risks to asks although Ian is the Commander in the palace. I am proud of him and I want to see him after three years, maybe he looks manly now and he will be even taller since our height was just close then maybe now I am up to his shoulder. And also become more handsome though I heard in the city that they talked about him especially the ladies in every house how handsome the commander is.

Hmm. Thinking about him, I want to tease him if he has already a girlfriend or a girl he likes since he is attending banquets in the palace with nobles. I did not get any chance to attend since Lady Miary declined many invitations from the palace because her reason is she doesn't like the theme or the people who are attending or the date so the duke goes in the invitations. Her reasons are so childish, I can not tell her to attend because she will interrogate me about why do I want her to attend. I do not want her to be asked from her since she has so many questions too and you will not stop until she is satisfied. I don't want to be questioned by her because she has been asking me for almost half a day before just because I have helped a woman I have seen several times and she is helping me and she witness those scenes and I do not think if she coincidentally sees or follows me every off duty.

She thought that I am meeting her on my every day off and she asks me if I am dating her but she did not believe me that it just a coincidence that we meet. She even insisted that I was lying to her so our conversation repeatedly over and it was good that her father called her so we did not argue until the morning. So on my next day off, I did not go out anymore because she might follow me. So, I did not ask her about Ian since he accompanied the Prince somewhere and they did not issue where did they go 1 year ago. I've got no news about him since then, I am thinking if he's okay or how is he.
