"If you think that I'm a monster, then look in the mirror," Nathaniel let out his eyes burning with rage.

Omar couldn't find it in himself to believe his eyes. Nathaniel called him a monster to his face. He smiled.

The fault was with him, that was what he gets for holding on to someone he hardly knew. Grasping what was forgetting that with time, not only relationships but people had a way of changing too.

"Since you feel that way. Let me save you the trouble of looking at this monster," Omar fired back. His tone was ice cold, alarming Nate with the change in his temperament.

Nathaniel slowly cast his gaze at him. His anger faded away, leaving a trail of regret behind. Nate opened his mouth to defend his outburst however Omar turned around. The words got stuck in his throat.
