Chapter seven

Ace's point of view

This Twisted Bliss is something else isn't she? She is like a wannabe Harley Quinn. I am Ace freaking Cain and I always get my guy. You could say that I am the real life batman.

These fools think that I am helping them catch Twisted Bliss but they are wrong. I am going to find that criminal and she is gonna help me find someone and then that person is gonna give me what I desire and crave for the most ; justice.

When I was young I worshipped my father and I loved him. He was a good cop not a dirty one. But the problem was that he was so wrapped up in his work that he didn't even notice how much I idolized him. One day a meteor hit and he went to look at it . After that day my dad began to notice that he had a family, he took days off from work to spend time with me and my sister. He took us to ball games, car races and he even let us help him fix his most prized possession, his car.

Don't get me wrong I loved this new version of him more than I loved the og version but I wanted to know the reason why he changed so much so I went back to where the meteor crashed and I was horrified to see a shapeshifting witch who had the same powers as Twisted Bliss standing over my dad's lifeless body.

''Dad'' I said ''What did you do?''. I ran and pushed her away from my dad's body.

''Listen kid it was an accident. That day your dad came here I panicked and I killed him. I pretended to be him so that I could find a way to bring him back to life without you noticing. I am ...'' she said and I interrupted her.

''You killed my dad so now I'm gonna call the police and they will lock you up forever you useless being'' I said and she used her powers to make me fall unconscious and she ran away.

The next day the police found me curled up in a ball near my father's dead body and assumed that I killed him. My mom and sister were shouting at the police officers telling them to let me go. Luckily there were security cameras so the police saw everything that happened that night but they never caught the woman and I was devastated.

I still believe that the witch is still alive and out there 'cause witches live up to 500 years or so I've told and I'm gonna use Twisted Bliss to find her. Then I'm gonna put an end to them both.
