1 Unknown Game App

It was a normal day for Ximen Feng as he went to school. His black hair with a touch of white and a tall figure with a bit of a white skin is the only way to identify who he is.

He lived a normal life. His friends and classmates hate him though. He was consider to be a nerd in their class.

He hated the way his classmates treat him but he always smiles it off.

"Ximen Feng! How's your day?" The girl asked to Ximen Feng.

"I am fine, Li Chen," Ximen Feng simply answer to Li Chen.

Li Chen turned to her back and replied, "Ximen Feng!, you evil person, how dare you talk to woman like that!?"

"Look, I am sorry, it's just too stressful for me to handle my academic things." Ximen Feng frowned.

Li Chen looked at Ximen Feng with a smile, "You look ugly when you frown, smile Ximen Feng!"

Ximen Feng felt happy every time he was with Li Chen. He just got the feeling of happiness whenever Li Chen is around.

He was alone in his apartment when he reached for his phone. When he opened his phone, he saw an app that he didn't remembered downloading. It was called 'Twist of the Mind'. He was curious that he opened the app but a notification appeared saying that 'are you ready?'

Ximen Feng went more curious this time. Due to curiosity, he clicked yes.

The app opened and it has a design that looks like a game.

[Hello! Welcome to the game called Twist of the Mind! In this game, you need to solve crime cases. It will be assigned to you. Pick the 'Mission' button to pick a case. All needed information about a certain case will be given. Good Luck!]

Ximen Feng was amazed on how the game greeted him. Though, Ximen Feng couldn't believe that his life will change.

He picked the mission button and saw three types of cases grouped in three categories: the easy, hard, and extreme level.

[Easy level case: A man was murdered by a man, stabbed 12 times and found dead on the street.

time of death: 8:00 pm]

[Hard level case: A big time mafia was suspected to be having a transaction with another mafia at any time and any place!]

[Extreme level case: A mafia was terrorizing a town, it will make a transaction of illegal drugs at a certain place!]

[The harder the mission, the more rewards you can get!]

Ximen Feng can easily pick the easy one but he was thinking about the circumstances that can affect his deduction work.

He had no other choice but to pick the easy task. The hard and the extreme could easily kill him.

The system send-off an info about the easy case.

[A man named Yi Fei Long was killed by being stabbed. The killer used a technique, he cut the electricity of their homes and kill them. The place was at Fei Long street, at an apartment near a mall. Good Luck!!!]

Ximen Feng felt a little excited and nervous. He looked at the time and it was 8:30 pm, it was thirty minutes ago after the man died.

Riding his bicycle, he went to the location given by the game.

As he arrived, they were still police officers investigating the case and taking statements from possible witnesses.

Ximen Feng went to a police officer and talked to him, "Sir, I am Ximen Feng, I want to be your assistant to any cases you will take."

"Well, I see," the police man nodded to Ximen Feng.

"Sir, may I ask, what are the info gathered in this case," Ximen Feng was serious about the case.

"Well, the man was killed by a man who can have access to the apartment's electricity lines," Ximen Feng got an info and came into a conclusion.

"Sir, did you already have the manager's statement?" The man replied with a nod.

"Yes, talk to that guy there," the man pointed the other man talking to a young boy.

He went towards the direction, he saw the man and the child. The child left after the police talked to him.

"Sir, can I have the statement of the manager?" The police man nodded to Ximen Feng.

He read the statement of the manager and it seems that he has no alibi.

The only two man Ximen Feng can think about was the manager and the electricity handler.

He then went inside the apartment of Yi Fei Long and saw a mess. The killer and the victim might have a fight before the suspect killed the victim. He also saw a broken window. He found a crucial clue.

He ran outside the apartment and find the police man he told that he will serve. Once he found the man, he ran towards it and talked to him.

"Sir, I found a crucial clue," the police man's attention was grabbed.

"Speak son," the police officer was intrigued by Ximen Feng's find.

"The killer must have a glass in his shoes," the police man ordered the other to check the witnesses' shoes and to suprise, they found one, the manager!

"Why did you have a glass piece there manager!?" Ximen Feng asked.

"I...t was the time I stepped on a glass shard a bit...later," his words was shaky.

Then, he just shouted, "What did you think, that I stabbed the man twel..." he was stopped when he realized what he said.

"Your word against you! How did you know those facts even though the police didn't say it," the manager was arrested.

"Kid, you got skills huh? you wish to join the investigation team right? then your qualified, you are now my assistant!" Ximen Feng smiled and was excited.

"Sir, just give me a call if you need me!" Ximen Feng then ride his bicycle back to his apartment

He checked his phone...

He then felt weird in his eyes, he could see info about anything. He could turn it of by touching his forehead.

He felt happy achieving things that he didn't notice that he fell asleep...
