53 Temptation of the devil

When the ship finally arrived at Whole Cake Island

Zeus looked around and saw all the cake watch towers, silently marking them. He looked into the sea and focused under the water to see the shell-less snails swimming around acting as alarms. Zeus was silent for a while and thought to himself, maybe he should get some of those?

Too bad he couldn't think further as Luffy pointed to the coast and said "Chocolate!" Zeus chuckled and the Sunny docked, he looked at Luffy and said "I'll go ahead. Don't mention anything about her eye and if she ties to touch you just beat her up." Luffy nodded and waved, completely focused on the chocolate.

Zeus sighed and looked at Nami saying "Please remember. There's no way Big Mom doesn't know you're here. Maybe she hasn't seen me yet. I'll go take a look around." Nami nodded and Zeus whispered in her ear "That Vivre card Lola gave you is Big Mom's. If you're in trouble take it out and it should help you."

Nami was confused and Zeus winked at her before saying "You'll understand what I mean later." Nami nodded and Zeus disappeared completely, Nami muttered "Still acting all mysterious.."

Zeus flashed into the air and flew over to the Germa Kingdom's ships. Bonney and Persephone popped out of Zeus' waist and looked around. There was a good reason for them to be in there... That's what they told Zeus.

Anyway!

Bonney said "Where we going?" Zeus smiled and said "First to recruit that little pink princess, then we'll steal all their research. Hmph! I helped that fucking cook so much, it's time to collect." Persephone purred excitedly and Bonney flew up to his shoulder.

Persephone dug her claws into Zeus' shirt and crawled back up to his shoulder. Zeus rubbed his chest and said "What are you using your claws for?" Persephone licked her paws and said "I needed to get up and I can't fly." Zeus grumbled and flew towards the Castle door.

Zeus landed in front of the castle door and just walked inside. He found the security to be quite lax around here. You'd think that they would have at least a little bit of caution in a Yonko's territory but apparently not. Maybe Judge thought he was strong enough? Zeus chuckled a bit at his own joke and continued through the halls.

He quickly got lost and cursed "Who the fuck designed this place!? So many fucking hallways, I need a map.." Bonney and Persephone giggled and said nothing, they noticed he walked in a circle but kept silent and snickered to themselves.

Eventually

Zeus finally came across a hallway and ducked under a body flying towards him. Zeus turned around and saw Yonji, looking half-dead, unconscious in the hole in the wall. Zeus whistled and turned around to see Sanji talking with Reiju.

Zeus grinned and wrapped his arm around Sanji's neck and said "What's up shit-cook? I have to say this castle is extremely confusing! I almost got my handsome self lost!" Bonney coughed and said "You did." Zeus ignored her and smiled at Sanji.

Sanji turned his head and saw Zeus, his eyes widened and he hugged him saying "About fucking time, mask boy!" Zeus patted his back and said "How you been..." he paused and added "After your 'training'.. I don't want to hear about that place."

Sanji froze and trembled thinking about it. Zeus stepped back and almost threw up. Sanji finally said "I was doing good, but now I have to marry this chick." he sighed and Zeus patted his shoulders and said "It's not all bad! At least she's h- Ah!"

Bonney and Persephone both attacked his neck and Zeus yelped before saying "Cute. She's cute. For someone like you. I would never." Bonney and Persephone nodded in satisfaction and Sanji looked at the two in amusement and said "Anyway, why did you come?"

Zeus rubbed his chin and said "I came to recruit your sister, then steal the research. I almost forgot!" He picked up Sanji by the collar and said "What's the big idea saying I'm a super bad guy?!" Sanji chuckled and sneered "Are you not? Mr. King of the Underworld?"

Zeus let him go and laughed "Yeah, maybe I am. After all, I'm stealing from one of my friends' family." Zeus shrugged and flashed next to Reiju, he wrapped his arm around her shoulder and grinned "So let's talk about the beautiful lady eh? How would you like to be one of my lead scientists?"

Reiju made an awkward face and said "Uhh, I don't want to?" Zeus nodded and said "So I'll have to kidnap you then. Not a problem!" Reiju was stunned before smiling wryly, Sanji pointed at said "Oi! Mask boy! Who are you going to kidnap?!"

Zeus sneered and said "Your sister!" Sanji flared up and jumped at Zeus saying "YOU!" and they got into a dust brawl. Reiju stepped away, Bonney and Persephone hopped onto her shoulders and the three watched.

When the dust settled three figures were revealed. Zeus, Sanji, and Zoro. Zoro stood up and looked around before saying "What the!?" before running out of the building and disappearing.

Zeus and Sanji looked at each other and grinning before they both burst out laughing and wrapped their arms around the other's shoulder. Zeus laughed and said "Nice to see you again, Shit-cook!" Sanji grinned and said "You too, mask boy. I was wondering when you would show up after I saw the paper.. Did you join?"

Zeus spread out his hands and nodded, Sanji brightened up and laughed as he patted Zeus' shoulder excitedly as he said "We need to celebrate!" Reiju quickly pulled them into a room and guards ran through the halls and found Yonji.

Bonney and Persephone hopped off Reiju's shoulders and reverted to their human forms. Sanji had hearts in his eyes and held Bonney's hand as he said "An angel just for me!" Zeus punched his head and said "That's my wife!" Sanji flashed over to Persephone and said "A fairy, will you join me for a dri-"

Zeus punched him in the head again and said "That's my..." he paused and said "Sister!" Sanji snapped "Why did you bring untouchable fairies?!" Zeus sneered and said "They came with me! It's my unmatched looks!" Sanji flared up and butted his forehead with Zeus as he sneered "Oh yeah? You looked better with the mask on, bastard!" Zeus sneered and they got into an argument.

Persephone felt both hot and cold, she was pretty sure he was going to say something else but he caught himself and said 'sister' instead. She looked on the bright side and felt that it was still progress and smiled a bit.

Bonney patted her shoulder with a slight smile before saying "By the way, is nobody going to say anything about the green haired guy?" Zeus and Sanji looked confused and said "What are you talking about?"

Bonney sighed and said "Never mind..." Zeus and Sanji nodded and went back to arguing about who was more handsome.

After a while

Zeus and Sanji stopped, forming some sort of truce. The girls didn't understand but kept silent anyway. Zeus say to the girls "Who's more handsome?" Bonney said "Zeus." Persephone said "Zeus." Reiju sighed and nodded, Sanji collapsed and drew circles in the ground crying "Even my own sister..."

Zeus coughed and quickly changed the topic "Anyway, I came here to steal research." Reiju's face turned ugly and she said "Really?" Zeus nodded and said "I have no interest in dealing with Judge, nor do I care about Ichiji, Niji, or Yonji. You and Sanji are the only things that interest me in this entire kingdom."

Zeus paused and went into big boss mode as he said with a straight face "I want you purely for your intelligence. If you haven't already figured it out, I know everything about your Kingdom, even somethings that I shouldn't know."

Reiju lifted an eyebrow and Zeus continued as he lit a cigarette "I know that Judge succeeded in his genetic experiments with you but he took away for ability to defy him. I'm giving you a chance to get away, no one can touch my people. Not Big Mom, not Kaido, not the government, whats an extra Judge thrown in the mix."

Zeus waved his hand and a chair flew across the room, Zeus sat down and exhaled a mouthful of smoke as he said "Obviously the kidnapping thing was a joke.. Well for you. I will kidnap someone here, maybe two people. That's why I'm giving you the chance to escape."

Zeus' voice sounded like a little devil as he held out his hand, almost beckoning Reiju as he said "Will you escape with me?" Sanji watched silently, this guy had a wife and a.. sister. He knew that he wouldn't do anything to Reiju, and he also found out that Reiju was forced to listen to Judge and Sanji was furious.

Reiju looked at Zeus' hand and hesitated, of course she wanted to escape. How could she not? Her father treated her like a tool, after her mother died everything went down hill. The only thing she wanted to do was leave and life the rest of her life away from Judge, but she hesitated when she looked at Zeus' hand.

Zeus tempted "A life away from him. You won't have to do things you don't want to do anymore..." He stood up and circled behind her, he grabbed her shoulders and whispered into her ear "To him, you're just a tool.. An object.. I don't think so. I will treat you like a person, not only that but an important one. I don't want a robot that listens to orders, but an extremely smart person who will give me their own opinions."

Zeus switched ears and continued "Everything you could ever want. A peaceful life, a beautiful place to live it, and more resources to do what ever you want." he paused and got real close before hitting the final nail "What do YOU want to do?"

Zeus grinned viciously and stepped back before flashing to the chair, his face back to normal as he smoked. It sounded long but it happened in a few seconds, almost like it was a dream. Bonney and Persephone silently sucked in a cold breath, this guy.. Too sinister! It was almost as if he knew her forever!

Sanji saw everything but still chose to keep silent, he believed that Zeus wouldn't hurt his sister, or force her to do things she didn't want to do. At the same time he was curious where Zeus was talking about, sounds like a nice place.

Reiju struggled internally before finally saying "Let me think about it." Zeus nodded and Reiju added "But you can't steal the research! or.. Or I won't think about it at all!"

Zeus froze and sighed before finally agreeing "Fine, but I want an answer before I leave this terrible Island." Reiju nodded and Zeus waved and said "Let's go!" Bonney and Persephone both transformed and hopped on his shoulders again.

Zeus patted Sanji's shoulder and said "See you later, Sanji. Oh by the way.." he whispered into Sanji's ear and Sanji's eyes turned to hearts and he startled bleeding from his nose as he nodded heavily.

Zeus snickered and waved over his shoulder before disappearing, since he couldn't steal the research notes there was nothing left for him here.

Zeus flashed through he hallways and finally out of the castle before flying over the sky and hovering above Luffy, Carrot, Chopper, and Nami. Bonney said "You're not going to help?" Zeus scoffed "Help? As if he needs me for these ants, plus Nami has Big Mom's card. As soon as she takes it out, there won't be any problems.."

He paused and looked at Brulee for a few seconds before rubbing his chin and muttering something to himself and disappearing.

He reappeared in front of Brulee and grabbed her face, Brulle was stunned and felt a burning sensation on her face. She looked at Zeus in horror and Zeus grinned before disappearing completely.

Brulee was confused and looked around before noticing nothing was wrong, she dismissed it as an illusion and continued with her day.

Zeus flashed back to the sky and snickered, he removed Brulee's scar. As for why he did this? It was simply to be in Katakuri's 'good graces'. He wasn't scared of Katakuri at all, but he liked Katakuri a lot. The guy was simply a monster and cough* Zeus' favorite bad guy cough* If possible he wanted Katakuri to join him in Tartarus, not for anything else but simply for his power.

He didn't know if Katakuri knew about Underworld things, nor did he know if Katakuri was willing to leave Tottoland but even if what he just did makes Katakuri think about it for a second then it was worth it.

Zeus naturally had his own means to convince Katakuri, all he needed was an opening. Hopefully, Brulee was that opening, if not then he would simply try something else. Katakuri wasn't a necessity but an extremely good option. Other than Katakuri, there weren't many others who were interesting to him.

Perspero looked ugly with his tongue out all the time, those two long neck retards that shot the Sunny with flaming arrows looked like giraffes. While he was fine with Kaku looking like a giraffe sometimes, these guys always looked like that. It was ugly and annoying and Zeus didn't like it, It was his choice anyway.

Plus, if Zeus did get Katakuri, he would also get Brulee as a 2 for 1 deal. This was simply the jack pots of jackpots! Her ability was absolutely the best for Void, she cloud see anything through her mirror dimension, as long as there was a mirror. There were mirrors all over Abyss Island, plus if anybody needed to be taken care of, Brulee could just pull them into her mirror dimension and have an assassin take care of them.

Quick, easy, and efficient.

Naturally, all of this was optional but Zeus was determined to get them both. Plus he would have an easier time convincing his third target if they both joined. As Zeus had said before, he wanted to own the ENTIRE underworld. Not just a potion, but everything. Some people would call him crazy, but what did Zeus care?

Almost everyone in Tartarus had a good relationship with him, almost to the point of a big family. Zeus even guessed that if he decided to form a crew of his own, it would already be one of the strongest ones in the world, but why would he make a crew? He already had everything he needed.

Abyss Island was thriving, Tartarus was getting bigger by the day, and he was traveling with his brother. There was nothing left for him to want and making an extra crew would be redundant. Tartarus was already his own force, and he was a part of Luffy's crew, he was basically a walking fleet.

Zeus looked out on his life in satisfaction, there was only a few more things for him to do and then it was a completely smooth sail through the rest of his life. BUT this didn't mean that his job was over, not even close actually. The plans for Abyss Island needed to be finished, and he needed to solidify his position in the Underworld. After all, the government crowned him for a reason and he wasn't going to disappoint them.

Zeus chuckled to himself as he thought about it, maybe he would disappoint them. He didn't have any plans of dying again. He laughed at his own joke and both girls looked at him in disdain, he was probably laughing at his own jokes again.

Sometimes they wondered why they both loved this guy, but quickly came up with a million things that they loved about him. One of them being that he laughs at his own jokes, which meant they were contradicting themselves.

If Zeus knew, he would sigh and said 'Women are complicated' then he would get beat up and apologize and the world would turn again.

Zeus calmed down and flashed into the field next to the forest and laid on the ground, resting his head on a log. He put his arms around Bonney and Persephone and closed his eyes to take a nap. Persephone and Bonney snuggled into his arms and fell asleep along with him.

The three painted a calm picture, sleeping in the grass without a care in the world, as if nothing could bother them, even if the world collapsed.
