Anger

The next morning

Zeus was sitting on top of the crow's nest and looking out at the sea, his haki was focused on Nami the whole time. Naturally he shouldn't be worried, but regardless he wouldn't let one of his brother's crewmates be sick and die, after all, this wasn't the anime it was the real world. Who knows what could happen.

Days passed and Nami finally collapsed

Zeus watched from above and didn't take action, if Nami didn't get sick then they wouldn't go to Drum Island and Chopper would never leave. Pretty crazy butterfly effect if you ask me, Zeus chuckled to himself and lit a cigarette as he formed a recliner from his cloud and sat down, he sighed and muttered "I could use a drink.."

A voice sounded out from behind him "I brought some with me." Zeus grinned and said "Whatcha doin' up here big man?" Zoro stood next to him and Zeus dispelled the cloud before sitting down on the floor as Zoro said "Came here to drink."

Zeus pulled out two glassed from his cloud and put them on the ground in front of the two as he said with a smirk "Come to drink with a marine eh?" Zoro shrugged and sat down before smirking himself "You're on vacation right?"

Zeus was stunned before laughing "Shishishishi That's right!" Zoro poured two glasses and Zeus knocked cups with him before drinking, suddenly he got a call. He answered the phone "Brent's autobody shop, what can I do ya for?"

Smoker's angry voice sounded out from the snail "You bastard! Where are the Strawhats?!" Zeus drank from his cup and said "I don't know, I can't find them." Smoker was incensed and snarled "Don't give me that bullshit Kurama! Are you with them right now?"

Zeus said "Nope. Pour me another one." Zoro was stunned and smiled wryly before pouring another glass, Zeus chuckled "Wanna see who can drink the most?" Zoro grinned "You sure you want that?" Zeus scoffed "A little mosshead like you wants to drink me under the table?!"

Smoker's voice came "KURAMA YOU BASTARD! YOU'RE WITH THEM RIGHT NOW!" Zeus chuckled and said "Nonsense! This is another mosshead." Luffy came up and said "Hey! What are you guys doing here?" Smoker's voice sounded "THAT'S STRAWHAT HIMSELF! KURAMA I'M GONNA-"

Zeus cut him off and said "Relax Smokey, you're gonna get a heart attack like this." he shook his head, coincidentally the snail on Smoker's side made the same gesture, infuriating Smoker even more.

Smoker took a deep breath and said "Kurama. I'm going to beat you to death." Zeus was silent before saying "Alright calm down. Where are you?" Smoker said "You're still with them?" Zeus confirmed and Smoker said "Call me when you're alone then." Zeus said quickly "I have to tell you something later. It's extremely important." Smoker grunted in response and hung up.

Zeus looked at Zoro and Luffy before chuckling and saying "What's up?" Zoro looked suspicious and said "You're fine with lying to your captain like that?" Zeus drained his glass and said "He's my friend first, and he's used to it by now. Plus you're all my friends too, anyway how's Orange?" he changed the subject quickly and Luffy got serious before saying "She needs a doctor."

Zeus nodded and said "There's an Island called Drum Island near here. If you keep sailing like this we'll reach it soon." as soon as he finished speaking the sea in front of them bubbled up to reveal a ship. Zoro and Luffy went down to see what it was and Zeus watched from above, he always thought Wapol was an idiot, his fruit was pretty overpowered.

Think about it, he can eat anything and assimilate it with himself, he can even eat himself and make himself stronger! Though it remains to be seen if he can actually eat seastone, it would be a good experiment. He shuddered at the thought of a seastone man, if Wapol used his fruit better he would probably be a pretty big villain instead of a comic relief villain.

As he was thinking this, Luffy blasted Wapol into the sea and his crew went after him. The Merry started sailing again, desperately searching for a doctor. Zeus flashed into Nami's room and sat on a chair, he lit a cigarette and took a drag while looking at her, thinking silently.

Vivi walked into the room and changed Nami's towel before looking at Zeus, who gave her a look before going back to smoking silently. She hesitated before saying "I've seen you before." Zeus exhaled a mouthful of smoke before saying "In the white city right?" Vivi nodded and Zeus snorted "I hate that place. I only went once and refused to go again."

Vivi was curious and said "Why?" Zeus looked at her and smiled before saying "You know what happens there don't you?" Vivi was silent and Zeus continued "I can see everything that happens there with my haki. The outside is white but the inside is black. You remember the accident that year?"

Vivi nodded and spoke "Yeah! Apparently a slave went crazy and pushed a noble into a fire! The noble's corpse was charred and they couldn't find the slave!" Zeus chuckled and said "And you believe that?" Vivi looked at Zeus and said in disbelief "It was you!?"

Zeus nodded and said "I was walking through the place alone and saw a noble about to humiliate a female slave so I torched him and threw him into a fireplace before freeing the slave and sending her out." he lifted his hand and lightning crackled above it as he added "With enough effort even the nastiest of scars can be removed.."

Vivi's eyes opened wide and she stuttered "Y-Y-You! How is that possible!" Zeus snapped his fingers and a little lightning dragon circled around him as he chuckled "Anything is possible." he rubbed the lightning dragon's head softly and sighed "There wasn't any spirituality in his lightning, maybe when it awakened? He wondered what his awakening would be like, he should have Logia and Zoan abilities right now, kind of like Marco!

He punched his palm and realized it was exactly like Marco! Except he could control his lightning perfectly and had more abilities. He got a smug smile on his face and chuckled evilly, maybe he could show off in front of Marco if he ever saw him, Zeus obviously forgot that he didn't know Marco at all and has never made any contact so it would be more like provoking the man instead of teasing.

Vivi watched as Zeus' mouth changed from normal to open wide to a smug smile, she scratched her head, not quite understanding what was going through his head at the moment. She suddenly remembered what she wanted to ask him "Kurama, why did you look under Nami's shirt a few days ago?" Her eyes opened wide and she scooted away while covering her chest "Could it be that you?!"

Zeus was stunned this time and looked at Vivi speechlessly, did he look like that kind of person? Nami was already awake when they started talking and she heard what Zeus did and pretended to be still sleeping, even though she was enraged, just to see what he would say.

Zeus coughed and said speechlessly "Do I really look like such a person?" Vivi nodded her head and Zeus had his mouth open wide before saying sadly "Wow.." Vivi said quickly "Explain!"

Zeus said "I saw that she had a small red dot on her belly when we left Little Garden so I checked. Sure enough it was there." Vivi looked at him suspiciously and said "You were looked at her on Little Garden?"

Zeus looked at Vivi and said "Honestly Princess, she was half naked any normal man would look at a half naked woman, especially her. She's quite attractive." Vivi scooted over and gossiped "Oh does the marine like our Nami?"

Zeus shook his head and said "I do not." he quickly changed the subject and said with a grin "Disappointed? Excited? Happy? How does that make you feel Princess? I'm still single." Vivi's face flushed red and she ran out of the room while Zeus laughed, he shook his head and stood up to leave.

He walked to the door and said with a smirk "Eavesdropping isn't very nice Orange." before walking out and closing the door.

Nami sat up in bed with a bright red face, she grit her teeth and growled out a 'bastard!' before reading the newspaper angrily, thinking about what Zeus said.

Zeus walked out of the room and onto the deck, he looked around and saw Drum Island in the distance. He sighed softly and sat on a chair on the deck, ready to watch the show, he didn't like these villagers at all actually, he looked over at Vivi and signaled her over.

Vivi ran over and said nervously "Yes?" Zeus was amused and flicked her forehead lightly saying "Don't go falling for me Vivi, I know i'm extremely handsome but I can't be with you.." he sighed softly and muttered "Or anyone really.." Vivi was saddened and looked at Zeus to say something but held her tongue when she saw his sad expression, she wanted to say something but the sound of a shout distracted her.

"Filthy Pirates! Scram from our island!" The crew looked at the group of villagers, who had guns and pitchforks, in confusion. They just wanted to go to the island, what was all this nonsense? Luffy said "We need a doctor, one of our crewmates is sick!"

The villagers sneered "Like we would believe you!" Zeus frowned and lifted his hand up, lightning shot into the sky and thunder rumbled angrily above the villagers. Luffy frowned and said "We just need a doctor." the villagers refused entry and Vivi stepped forward and said "Please! If we don't find a doctor, she'll die!"

Suddenly one of the villagers shot at her

Zeus flashed in front of Vivi and stopped the bullet with his hands. The crew looked at Zeus' hand in amazement and noticed it was pitch black, they were curious but it wasn't the time. Luffy got angry and was about to take action when Vivi said "Luffy! Don't!" she walked forward and kneeled on the ground and said "Please! We just want a doctor!"

Luffy looked and Vivi and slowly bent his knees but Zeus stopped his knees with his foot. Luffy looked at Zeus and was alarmed, his eyes were red and lightning crackled around him, his arms turned into dragon arms and he had long horns on his head, his marine jacket fluttered behind him, occasionally revealing his black dragon tattoo.

Zeus stepped forward and grabbed the air, a red thunder spear appeared before turning black and Zeus said "Which bastard dared to shoot." the villagers were afraid, in their eyes Zeus was a demon, not a person. None of them dared to speak at all.

Zeus sneered and lifted the spear before saying "Then die." he was about to throw the spear and turn the villagers to ashes when Vivi stepped in front of him and yelled "Kurama! Stop! You're a marine!"

Zeus looked at her and dispelled the lightning spear. He scoffed at the villagers and said "This island was attacked before?" a big man walked out of the crowd and said "Yes. He was called Blackbeard."

Zeus sneered at them and said "Well, who wouldn't attack you when you act like this. You'd think ordinary people would stay in their homes and shut up when they see pirates." the villagers clenched their fists and kept silent.

Zeus scoffed and said "Scram back to your homes and maybe i'll call for marine support." the villagers glared at Zeus and reluctantly left, the only one to stay was Dalton, the big guy that stood out before.

Zeus turned around and flashed the 'justice' on his back before walking to the back of the group. Zoro looked at him and said "Marines eh?" Zeus waved his hand "I hate this place." The crew brought Nami to Dalton's house and Vivi said angrily to Zeus "What's your problem!? Not everything can be solved with violence!"

Zeus looked at her and pointed to Luffy "You're ideals are your own. Forcing someone else to kneel and humiliate himself against someone who's weaker than them is not okay. If I was Strawhat I would've killed every last person here. Certain people don't deserve the respect and kindness you give them."

He got closer to Vivi and said sarcastically "Are you going to kneel to Crocodile and beg him not to hurt your people?" Vivi was silent and Zeus said "That's what I thought. Whoever dares to make my friends kneel will die without a corpse, do you understand?" Vivi swallowed her anger and turned away, following Dalton to his house in a huff.

Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp looked at Zeus and smiled slightly before following after Vivi with Nami. Zoro walked up to Zeus and said "A little harsh no?" Zeus was still angry about it and said "Would you have knelt?" Zoro said immediately "Absolutely not."

Zeus grinned and said "If you refuse to kneel but your captain does will you follow him?" Zoro thought for a moment and said "It depends, if he kneels to sacrifice himself so that we can live I will follow him to hell and back, regardless of his deal."

Zeus nodded and said "Naturally." he looked forward and said seriously "A man's knees are made of gold, he can kneel to his parents, he can kneel to heaven and earth but he cannot kneel to anyone else!" Zoro's eyes brightened and he said "Good saying!"

Zeus smiled and said "It's not mine I heard it somewhere before. Anyway, you're staying here?" Zoro nodded and said "Maybe train a bit in the cold." Zeus nodded and left saying "I'll go see what's going on." before flashing away, Zoro looked at the island before looking at his feet, he saw a book and picked it up.

He opened it and his eyes brightened as he muttered "Haki eh?" before turning around and reading the book.

Zeus flashed across the island and in front of Luffy and Sanji, who were leaving Dalton's house to go up the mountain. He said with a smile "Need a ride?" Sanji chuckled and Luffy nodded excitedly "Dragon, Dragon Dragon!" Zeus smiled and turned around before transforming into a giant white dragon, he held the mask in his claw before scooping up Sanji, Luffy, and Nami and flying into the sky.

The villagers watched in awe as Zeus flew into the air and towards the castle, he saw the Lapins below and remembered that Wapol was supposed to be there. He ignored it and flew towards the castle, it should be much easier now anyway.

Zeus landed on the plateau and Sanji and Luffy got off, Zeus said "I want to explore for a while." Sanji and Luffy nodded before going inside the castle to find the doctor. Zeus flew into the air and towards the other mountains, maybe more devil fruits? He doubted it but it didn't hurt to look. He also had to get used to his new powers and see what the extent of them were, he had been feeling weird since he first transformed. Like there was something stuck in his throat.

He coughed trying to get it out before trying to throw up, eventually he did throw up but it wasn't bile it was pure lightning! Zeus was amazed, he had lightning breath now! He got used to using his lightning breath quickly by using it on everything, the trees, the mountains, the ground, and the sea, obviously checking if there were animals or people there first.

The result was devastating, wherever the lightning went, ashes followed. Complete destruction. He was amazed and smiled to himself, he had no idea how powerful he was at the moment, probably as strong as Akainu right? If he fought him with Lightning and Haki coating his dragon arms, it would be pretty hard for Akainu to burn him with the magma.

He considered himself pretty strong, invincible even! Zeus didn't know that he was severely wrong, he was far from invincible, in fact he wasn't as strong as he thought himself to be and that would be a cruel and painful lesson, but that was in the future, for now he was a happy little lightning boy, flying in the sky without a care in the world.

After a while he went back to the Castle, he didn't find any fruits but he wasn't sad, actually the opposite. He was happy that he found out about his dragon breath ability, it was extremely cool! He hid behind the castle and reverted back to his human form before putting his mask back on and entering the castle.

He wandered the halls, thinking about his ability. Could he do it in his human form? He should be able to right? He tried but nothing happened, he sighed, it was like the flight and would only work in his dragon form. It made sense, for example, Marco couldn't fly without going hybrid. The advantage Zeus had was that he could transform any part of his body into a dragon's separately, what this meant is that Zeus could only transform his arm if he wanted, or any body part for example.

The disadvantage was that certain abilities couldn't be used in hybrid form. He didn't have Dragon organs in his hybrid and human forms, so he couldn't breathe lightning. He didn't have the long dragon body in his hybrid and human form, so he couldn't fly in the sky. Very simple, but very annoying.

Zeus sighed to himself and pushed open a door to see Nami sleeping in a bed. Besides her, there was nobody else in the room. He walked in a sat down in a chair before stretching out his limbs and closing his eyes to fall asleep, he quickly slipped away into dreamland where his immortal fairies were waiting with open arms.

Hope you liked it, a lot of explaining about his powers at the end and everything else was more like a 'filler' chapter but I realized that if I blew through the islands then it would be super shit! Ahah while I love writing terrible books I'd rather not make this one bad too, also if you have anything to say about Zeus' attitude towards the Villagers on drum island, well frankly I don't care, I hate those damn ants. The fact that Luffy kneeled was just dumb so I stopped it. Hmph!
