Siblings x Both

"The waves are nice, aren't they?" Unsurprisingly, after what Kougi had told him, Kichi was able to find Chuuya just hanging about trying to talk up with a girl. As much as he didn't want to interrupt the boy's attempts in having some fun on their vacation, the coin was more important than that. "The cool water makes for a nice dip."

"Hey Chuuya." Kichi cut himself into the conversation his friend was having. "Sorry, but there's something we need to talk about."

"I see." He already knew exactly what this subject would be about. Therefore, he also understood that it was not something he could, nor wanted, to delay either. "Sorry, but I need to take care of my friend here." Chuuya let the girl go, who seemed to have been enjoying the conversation. He also made a gesture to indicate that calling him later would be a good idea. Not that it would matter given he never gave her a phone number in the first place. "So you finally made up your mind?"

"I…" As Kichi was about to speak up. He realized that he had been more motivated on getting his coin back rather than realizing what his true feelings were. "...No, I guess I haven't."

"Then why'd you mess up a perfectly good thing I had going?" Now Chuuya was disappointed. He had been making great headway with that girl. "Looks like you need my help yet again."

"If it means getting my coin back sooner, then sure." He had no idea on what means his friend would use in order to lend him aid. A part of him even had the thought in the back of his mind that perhaps it might be best not to accept that help. "What's your advice."

"It's simple." He put an arm around his shoulder and guided the boy around the beach as they walked by the many people enjoying their own vacations. "Look at everyone around you. Do you notice anything in particular?"

"Not really." Kichi hated these kinds of questions. How was he supposed to know what to look for? "It's just a bunch of people having fun. Isn't that why we're here too?"

"Fun, yes." That much he knew was the truth anyone could see. "But look at some of them, I mean the ones that are obviously couples." He looked at what Chuuya was referring to. There were plenty of boys and girls close to their age having rather intimate moments. He felt like a creep peeping in on them as they did these things, even though those people were in public and pretty much everyone could see them.

"Well, it's not like I can do those things with either of the twins." He lied, realizing a point being given to him. The truth was Kichi had already kissed Airi in similar fashion just a little bit ago. But from Chuuya's point of view, that isn't something that should be happening for no apparent reason.

"I think you really overshot the point there." He gave him a fist rub on his head in teasing fashion. "I meant look at them being with each other, it doesn't matter what they're doing." It didn't take much for the boy to assume who were couples and who weren't. Like he said, they didn't have to be doing things like making out or cuddling to show that. There were things like playing with a beach ball, lounging to get a tan in the sun, or even building sandcastles.

"You're saying it's who I want to spend more time with?" It became much more clearer to him upon this revelation. Obviously it wasn't like he could choose based on appearance. They both looked the same and any differences were minor to say the least. So it came down to personality, or more accurately, the kind of person they were compared to him.

"I'm guessing you've had your fair share of time with them today." Chuuya knew he had stuck behind for a bit to talk with Aoi. And judging from him being the one to save Airi's life when she nearly drowned. He had his time with both of the girls so far.

Though it was short and he wasn't there to see it. So it wasn't as if he could be the one to tell him what seemed better. "Man, I can't imagine being with Aoi was exciting." Based on what he knew about the quiet twin, she likely didn't give much in the realm of beach fun for Kichi. "But Airi might be a little too much excitement." Then again, most people would prefer not to have to use their skills to keep someone alive.

"It feels like you're just telling me they're both bad choices." While Kichi couldn't disagree with the conclusions reached by him. A part of him felt insulted as well given both those girls were his girlfriends.

"I could be just saying you could date Kougi."

"What!?" Were Kichi taking a drink in this moment. He would've spat it all out and then some in response to that suggestion. "Have you gone mad?"

"I'm just kidding." Chuuya laughed at his overt reaction. "Sheesh, it feels like you can't take a joke lately."

"Oh… Sorry about that." He breathed a sigh of relief that his poor acting hadn't yet tipped off the other boy into thinking that somethings else was up.

"I can't help but think there's another reason why you're so indecisive here." However there was some suspicion in his friend's mind after all. It was one thing for him to have a challenge with two choices. At this point, the coin likely had a bad influence on his decision making. However, the fact that it involved the two twins had Chuuya wondering if there was more going on.

"So you done yet or what?" As they walked back towards their beach spot. The twins had cut them off and met up with the boys in the middle. "I can't believe you haven't made up your mind yet." Aoi complained. Neither of the twins would've taken it personally if he picked the other. It's a 50-50 chance from their point of view, which didn't lend to the odds being in their favor. Though it also didn't mean they were out of it either.

"You are one bold boy." Chuuya commented. He would've taken Kichi to have tried to keep things a secret from the twins to avoid stepping on any toes. "Next you'll tell me Kougi knows about this too."

"Thankfully I didn't have loose lips with her." He knew that she might not be happy she wasn't being considered for this battle of preference. Even if it was evidently clear she wouldn't be chosen no matter what.

"Either way, seeing as you still don't want to pick. It looks like you're not getting your coin back." Chuuya produced it from his pocket and gave the little item a good flick. "Picking both isn't an option, but I guess you won't say who because that' basically a confession." While he couldn't understand why Kichi would be willing to tell the girls he had to choose between them. It was also a situation he figured was going to happen anyway. They both knew he had expressed some interest in the twins, so it was only a matter of time before those girls knew about it too. They had even likely expressed some interest in his friend when he wasn't looking too.

"What if picking both was an option?" Kichi asked as they returned to their umbrellas.

"That's a little silly." He replied. "I already said you can't just weasel out of this one. And besides, it's not like you can date two girls at the same time."

"Oh yeah?" He took it a bit like a challenge, even though it wasn't. All this battling back and forth on who he liked more between the twins made him realize that it was all entirely pointless anyway. Kichi took each girl's arm and held them tightly. "Because I love both of them."

"Eh!?" The pair of girls both expressed their shock to his declaration.

"Huh?" Chuuya looked in bewilderment at the three of them. "Wow, I can't believe you really just confessed to both girls at the same time."

"No, it's not that." He clarify and admitted the truth about their relationship. "I can't pick between them because I'm already dating both of them at the same time."

"I-is that true?" Chuuya looked at both of the girls for confirmation. The idea was so absurd with him, but there would be no way Kichi would be so insane to just state that outright to those girls like he owned them.

"I-it's true." Airi quietly admitted. "We're both dating him."

"Yeah, and it was supposed to be a secret." Aoi said, glaring right at him for being the one to reveal the truth. After all his constant need to yammer about hiding it. She couldn't believe he was the one to tell him.

"I needed to tell you this." Kichi explained himself. "I realize that there's no reason to talk about who's better or worse when I have both anyway. I just have to take the highs and the lows, right? So in the end, I still can't choose between them."

"Heh." Chuuya responded by flipped over the coin to his friend. "I guess you really can't change your ways, can you?" While his nature still couldn't overcome his indecisiveness. He couldn't deny that it was beneficial in the end.
