1 Tiny World
The Dark Era was when the Gods has started their so called game, it was to give the mortals the power of constellation and fight the astral beasts from the nine heavens.
Chaos breaks in the peaceful Tiny World and many mortals died because of this nonsense game the Gods played. The Tiny World's population plummeted from over a tens of billions to a mere millions which was about 80% drop from the original population.
The mortals was only familiarizing with their newly gained powers at that time but the astral beasts had already attacked and destroyed almost all of the mortals population.
Luckily, there are some mortals who were able to adapt with their new powers immediately. That mortal who was able to adapt fast enough to defend the remaining mortals was Mello, his constellation was Auriga the charioteer.
The powers that the mortals had gained from the constellations are called astral weapons. These weapons are the manifestation from the constellations themselves and it also depended on the mortal. Mello's astral weapon was not a horse or neither a chariot, as his astral weapon was a whip.
A long black whip which contains the earth element inside it. Constellations are also linked to elements, different constellations have different elements while there constellations which has many elements.
Mello rushed forward the astral beasts together with his trusted friends, Hina and Tonny. Hina's constellation was Corvus the Raven and her astral weapon was a fan with an elemental affinity of wind. While Tonny's constellation was Norma the Level and his astral weapon was a hammer with an elemental affinity of earth.
The three of them fought with the astral beasts until the threat to the mortals survivability was decreased. It was when they managed to kill seven 3-star astral beasts that lead the 1-star astral beasts into killing humans.
Astral beast are categorized into: 1-star, 2-star, 3-star, 4-star, 5-star, 6-star, 7-star, 8-star, 9-star, 10-star, 11-star, and 12-star. 1-star astral beasts being the weakest and 12-star as the strongest.
They were victorous but that doesn't mean that there were no casualties between them. Mello's left arm was cut off while at that time Tonny was heavily injured and only Hina was able to return safely with only small injuries.
The deed of the three of them inspired the others to work hard and help others. More and more of them fought with astral beasts and died with great achievements that will be forever remembered by the mortals.
After 73 years of bitter battle, mortals was able to establish a new empire where it is safe from the threat of astral beasts all thanks to the sacrifices made by the Constellars.
Mortals who were able to use the power of constellations call themselves as Constellars. And when after making a connection with the constellations the constellations themselves can be summoned.
The appearance of the constellations are fixed but that doesn't mean that the same constellations have the same appearance. For example, the constellation Pegasus the winged horse can have an apperance of either a horse with black fur or white. It depends on the constellar what will be the constellations appearance will be.
The mortals have built a new empire they called the Starring Empire which has four countries namely the White Tiger Country, Azure Dragon Country, Vermilion Phoenix Country, and Black Tortoise Country. Under this countries are numerable cities which has different types of cultures and styles.
Vermilion Country, Scarlet City
One of the developing cities with great potential of becoming the capital city of Vermilion Country. Early in the morning the mortals are already getting themselves busy with their daily work. The children are already out of their bed, poor or rich, none of them dared to slackened.
In their minds, the saying "The early bird gets worm" was deeply engraved as they were taught by their parents that the earlier they start training their bodies the higher will be the chance for their Calling.
It is when a constellation wants to form a connection with you so they call it Calling. Mortals didn't get the chance to chose their constellation but it was the constellation that choses them.
A mortal only had one calling to his entire lifetime so when the first calling fails there will be no chance at all. Once the calling fails the mortal who attempted the calling will receive a backlash and will be bedridden for months before they are able to walk normally again.
Every family places great importants on their family memders that might possibly become a constellar. A constellar has a high status in the Starring Empire and everyone have to be respectful in front of them.
It was everyone's dream to become a revered existence in the Tiny World. Status and Power can only be gained if you have the power. There was two points a constellar must always remember.
The first one is that a constellar must have a dream that is approachable, real, and attainable.
The second one is that in order to fullfil your dreams you must first have the power to do so.
In the Scarlet City there was only one academy which teaches the students the right way to become a strong constellar.
Right at this moment a commotion started at the eastern region of the city where the academy was located. Three massive silhouette was standing in front of the academy's gate while facing a bald man.
These three silhouette are astral beasts of the 2-star!!
And there was only not one of them but three 2-star astral beasts!!
The surrounding mortals who lived near where the astral beasts appeared started to distance themselves away from the astral beasts.
Even an idiot will be able to figure out that there will be a fight soon, everyone knows this that's why they keep their distance so that they will not be a burden to the constellar.
If this was 70 years ago then they will surely panic already but this was the present. The time where 2-star astral beasts are as common as clouds in the sky.
