19 I'll have some ramen

As they walked out of the dorms, Shi Weiwei asked, "So, what do you want to eat?"

Ying Xuan put her finger under her chin as she thought. She looked up and signed, "Ramen."

Shi Weiwei was also delighted, "Ramen it is."

The two girls headed towards the back door of the campus.

They went into the small ramen shop. This little shop had kind of become their spot. The food was good and the service was fast. Moreover, the shop felt very personalized, like they were all part of a family, unlike many big restaurants.

Ying Xuan and Shi Weiwei directly went towards the counter. Ying Xuan tapped at a small bowl of ramen in the menu, the owner understood that it was her order and he said, "Sure, Miss Ying." Ying Xuan turned towards Shi Weiwei with a questioning gaze and pointed towards the menu.

Shi Weiwei said, waving her hand, "Don't worry. I'm not that hungry. I'll maybe just take a few bite out of your bowl."

Hearing this Ying Xuan smiled and changed her order to a medium bowl.

As the two looked around to find a table to sit, Ying Xuan noticed someone and went over directly. She tapped the shoulder of a girl eating with her face down.

Lu Zuan looked up startled. She sighed as Ying Xuan and Shi Weiwei took seats opposite her.

Lu Zuan: "Seems like someone can't leave me alone."

Ying Xuan mouthed, "Of course. I plan to abduct you and extort a huge ransom out of your parents."

Hearing this, Xuan and Zuan burst out laughing. Shi Weiwei looked from Ying Xuan to Lu Zuan, perplexed.

Lu Zuan said, "Still, I'm surprised to see you guys here. And, did you change?"

Shi Weiwei: "Xuan and I really like this restaurant. We come here often."

Lu Zuan nodded her head in understanding as she continued to focus on her noodles.

Shi Weiwei asked again, "Lu Zuan, if you don't mind me asking, what's your major?"

Lu Zuan looked up, "Why would I mind you asking? I'm majoring in linguistics, with drama as my second major."

Shi Weiwei was excited, "Really? I have drama as my major too!!"

Lu Zuan seemed surprised, "Really?"

Just as Shi Weiwei was about to reply, the owner called out saying their order was ready.

Ying Xuan stood up and went towards the counter, leaving the two girls to chat.

Just as Ying Xuan was out of earshot, Shi Weiwei turned to Lu Zuan with a serious expression. She said, "Miss Lu, I have a favour to ask of you."

Lu Zuan was surprised as she looked at the little girl in front of her.

Shi Weiwei was short and cute, her face round and eyes big, she looked like a big doll out of some rich girl's playhouse. With her bob haircut covering her forehead and pouty lips, Shi Weiwei basically seemed to be calling out, "Come on, play with me."

But when this cute little doll like girl asked Lu Zuan for a favour, Lu Zuan turned vary of her. It was because they were basically strangers, and Shi Weiwei had waited until Ying Xuan had left. Lu Zuan felt like this girl was hiding something and had bad intentions, but she was dumbfounded by what Shi Weiwei said next.
