2 The Undercover
Nicholette's POV
"What is it mom?" I asked her I soon as I entered her office at the headquarters.
"Both of you are going on an undercover operation." She said as I sat on the couch. Oh geez! Another tiring job.
"Files?" she reached her desk and flopped the 5-pages documents at the table, all details about out undercover mission with my twin.
I scan the documents. It consists of 3 boys and 2 girls. A t first glance, you will just see a bunch of ordinary high schoolers, but I guess all of us has dark secrets, after all.
"So, how can we meet them? Through connections? Through parties?" I asked immediately, for us to be able to prepare our concepts and storyboard, yes, we are actresses on our very own script and cinematography, of course with our intelligent team division.
"You're going to school." Ah ok—wait what?!
"WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" I hate school! Argh! Need to tell this to Lai.
"Yes! They are all students of Seiken International school." Whoa! Talking about brats and jerks.
"Oh yes! Whatever! Our identities?" basically, number 1 important thing in doing undercover is your fake identities.
"About that, this time you do on your own, without the help from our team. Identities, plans, strategies and others."
"Whoa! Seriously?!" I took all back all badmouthed I said. Tiring job? Nah! It's the best job they gave us. Seems exciting.
"Yes! Questions?"
"Nah! Bye!" Gonna tell to Lai.
Nicholai's POV
"C'mon Lai.. let's get married. I love you very much.."
"I love you too..."
What am I feeling right now? I can't breathe, seems like someone or something is pulling me downward, a gravitational force. I forced myself to get myself up but I can't.
"NICHOLAAAAIIII ASCANIA! WAKE UP!!!" WTH! Who's that?! I tried to open my eyes to look for the person who's shouting at me, then I realized why I cannot breathe that well. My dumb sister was covering my whole face with a pillow. Yes, her way of waking me up.
"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM? YOU WITCH!" I shouted while removing the pillow and her off me.
"Ouch! I am just waking you up" I glared at her because of her petty reasons. I was just having my dream with my faceless prince charming, and she just cut it off! What a witch, really!
"Why are you waking me up? Curse you if I died because of what you did to me! Even if I was dead and living at the other life, I will still solve my case and freak your wits out!" I irritatingly said to her. Instead of answering me back, she just tossed me a document envelope, a sign for me to open it.
I scan the details of the file she gave to me and realized that another job was given to us, looks like an undercover one.
"We're going to school." She said after I looked at the files.
"Then? Any plans?"
"Nah! We're the one who's planning this time. All. EVERTHING." Tsk. First, I hate schools. Second, I hate doing works.
"What school?" I asked. I saw smirk. What a crazy creature.
"Seiken International Academy" Wait sounds familiar. WTH!
"Yes dear! It's the school of your beloved ex. Ready to give him your sweetest revenge?"
"Not interested! Now get out!" I need to refresh. I'm getting stress here.
"Anyways, you look like a retard platypus while mumbling unknown name HAHAHAHAHA!" I grabbed the pillow and throw it at her, unfortunately, she has fast reflexes and avoided my said attack, then went out of the room like nothing deadly happened.

Nicholette's POV
"So, what do you want our concept be?" I asked Lai. We need to finalize our scenarios and make our stories one in case of emergency we may face while doing this mission.
"Uhh, I guess I do want to be the same Lai, after all they all knew me" she casually answered.
"So, what would my concept be?" I said then acted like I was talking to myself.
"Come on Lette, it's just a school with all bunch or brats and weirdos. You can yourself without them knowing who you really are." She said then grab the chips on the table.
"I do want my concept to be flashy, maybe a queen bee?" I asked.
"Don't you dare snatch my title, or you'll be dead." She said in a serious tone.
"I guess, I would just be myself." I answered her with uncertainty.
"So, this is our story, I was just going back to school and you're just a transferee, foreign so please watch your behavior."
"And then, we need to collect information about our target from anyone, possibly from some nerds because they are easy to deceive and manipulate." She added, she's really bad, I know.
"Again, as for your reminder, please remember the faces and names of our targets? I so sick with all your questions if they are the one or their make ups are just thick or whatever." She said then rolled her eyes.
"What's the problem with that? It's not my fault them having different face every time they put on their make up or just with their bare face." I said then shrugged my shoulders.
"Then use technology to check their faces in different angles and styles, I hope it can help you really well." She said sarcastically.
"Anyway, what will you do if you encounter him?" I asked.
"Don't worry, I can know if he will be there or not, but I think he will not be at the school this semester."
"Whoa, looks like you do still have communication from each other." I jokingly said.
"Nope, it's just his mother, she always says things how he is until now. Looks like she is not aware of me and him broke up."
"Then why won't you tell her?"
"No way. She will----" I cannot hear the last words she said because she just whispered them.
"What are you saying there?"
"Nothing, come on, we need to tell mom about our plans." She said then walked out of the room.
Hmm, I smell something unusual about her, but my nose can't pinpoint any of it. But I think she will be okay, after all, she is good at coping up every time any issues happened. Maybe I would just report with mom tomorrow, I feel so sleepy suddenly, my eyes can't help it.
