17 The New Murder Case

Lucas' POV

"Why did I do that?! You conning jerk! How long you intend to hide everything from me?!"

  "What are you talking about?" everyone in the room looked at them confusedly. I think Lai knew something about the syndicate, I need to get them out of here.

"Excuse me lovebirds for having your lover's quarrel, but I guess you need to step out first." Lette suddenly came between the conversation.

"I will not step out until he will not tell me everything." Lai firmly said.

"Nope, you need to." Lette calmly answered.

"I sai—"

"I SAID OUT!" both of them were surprised, as well as me. The cheerful Lette became serious all of a sudden. Lai released out a deep sigh and left the room.

Lette looked at me like saying "Take Kyle out, ASAP." I just nod at her and let them leave the room.

"Kyle, where have you been?" I whispered to him.

"Mom's. I want to know everything."
