2 Chapter 2 : Genesis Codex Puppet

After returning to his room Zarek washed himself, becoming fresh before sitting down on the right side of the bed looking outside the window.

"It didn't work yet again." Zarek sighed. After sitting down on the bed, he leaned back and looked at the shelves in front of his bed to see if he could read any book before going to bed. It was almost night time so there was not much light. Therefore he wasn't able to see properly but it seemed like there was some object on his desk that he couldn't remember placing it there. He walked toward the desk to check what it was. When he saw the object…

"What the fuck!?" Zarek freaked out a bit after seeing the doll in his room. Yes it was that doll he saw in the secret chamber sitting on his desk.

Even after seeing an unknown doll in his house, Zarek calmed down rather quickly. After calming down he gathered his courage and walked forward. He picked up the doll.

'What kind of doll is this? There is no way it can be here on its own. Is it some kind of prank?'

While he was thinking what he should do the doll moved slightly and the doll's face tore apart where its mouth should be, creating a mouth.

Zarek threw the doll falling on his butt.

'What the hell!!!' Just as he was freaking out, Zarek heard some voice in his mind.

'Voice Assistance activated.'

"What in the fucking name is this?!" Zarek shouted.

"It is 'Genesis Codex Puppet'. An artifact created and once used by Lavinia Kyra. It is one of her greatest creations." The doll said with his newly opened mouth.

"Genesis Codex Puppet? An artifact?" Zarek mumbled in confusion.

"affirmative"

"So it's an artifact. what can it do?" Zarek stood up and asked.

"It can do anything it's owner wants it to do."

"Anything?" Zarek raised his eyebrows and continued, "Then can it fly?"

"Flying is not possible." The doll replied.

'As expected' Zarek thought and asked again, "Then what can I do with it?"

"It is an artifact and you own it. You can do anything with it."

"Is it making fun of me?" Zarek sighed without much emotion on his face. "So what are this artifact's functions?"

"There are many functions but most of them are sealed."

"...."

Zarek was kinda annoyed but still showed no emotion, "What are the unsealed functions?"

"Voice control and voice assistance." The doll replied.

'hmm…' Zarek took some time to think and asked afterward, "What are these voice controls and voice assistance?"

"Voice control means you can control this artifact using your voice and voice assistance is what you are currently hearing." The doll explained.

"Stand up." Zarek said to the doll, more likely ordered it.

The doll stood up from laying on the ground. All this time the doll was talking while laying around just as Zarek threw it away and now it stood up.

"Jump"

Just as he said it jumped.

"It seems like it does work just like it said. But what use do I have with this?"

"It can do anything a human body can do as it was created as a replica of the human body." The doll replied to Zarek's question.

"Anything humans can do?" Zarek raised his brows slightly.
