21 CHAPTER 21

(At MC's House - Same Day)

-MC Pov-

I and Alice were currently in the dining room, I'd cooked dinner for us, yes Alice said that she wanted to try it. For the past 5 days, I've been feeding her my blood and right now, we're wondering if it brought any more changes.

"How is it?" I asked her after she took her first bite of the food.

She closed her eyes for a while, then said, "It's bland but not as disgusting as before I drank your blood."

Hmm...so it's slowly but surely bringing her taste buds back. Wait, can I bring her back? I mean, bring her back from the dead? Maybe, but it may take a long time, maybe dozens of years.

I nodded and ate the rest of the food while she made me tea. Yes, she has learned how to make proper tea. I've taught her every day and now she's good at it. After 10 minutes, she brought me the tea and I nodded in satisfaction, then suddenly she got a vision.

"What happened?" I asked her while holding her body.

She smiled and then said, "Bella will come to our house tomorrow!"

"Like my house?" I asked in confusion. She shook her head and said, "No, she'll come to our family's house." Then I nodded at that.

Then before long, her phone rang. She picked it up and put it on speaker mode. We heard Thea's voice from the other side and she said that Edward invites Bella to their house tomorrow.

We nodded at each other and Alice replied that we'll come tomorrow. They also said that Esme would cook for me and Bella, so she left me a message that said, "Make sure you haven't had breakfast." I chuckled and said, "Alright."

After that, we talked a bit more and ended the call. Then Alice and I cleaned up and cuddled in the living room watching some series on the TV.

"Mikael...." Alice said in my embrace.

"Hm?"

"Do you feel any discomfort when I'm drinking your blood?" She asked while looking at me in the eyes.

I stared at her now crimson eyes while caressing her cheek and said, "Not at all, maybe a bit of tingling sensation but that's it."

She buried her head in my chest and said, "Please don't lie, I've been drinking your blood every day and each session lasts for 5 hours, you must've felt something."

I was silent for a while and said, "I'm honest, Alice. I didn't feel a thing and I don't mind you drinking my blood every day-"

Before I could finish my sentence, she interrupted me by kissing me on the lips. After a minute, we parted and she stared at me with a serious gaze.

"I was worried, please..." Alice said, still staring at me with her beautiful crimson eyes.

I stroked her hair and said, "I'm serious, Alice. I didn't feel anything."

She suddenly grabbed my face with her hands while pouting, so I said, "Fine, how about we do it once a week on the weekend?"

She then let go of my face and hugged me. After that, she said, "Thank you, Mikael." But there was a smirk on her face, but I just shrugged at that.

After watching some more episodes of the series, we went to our room. Yes, my room is now her room too. With Alice in my embrace, I looked at her body and went deeper until I saw a tiny dot of energy inside her. Well, it's not much, but progress is progress after all, and I should be grateful for that.

(Sunday Morning)

I woke up early at 5 AM. I tried to wake Alice, but she said that she wanted to sleep for more time. So, I kissed her forehead and went about my routine.

The sky was still pretty dark, so I went jogging until the sun came up. After that, I went home and noticed that Alice was still sleeping. So, I chuckled and moved on to my next routine, Sword Arts. I then went to the roof, took out my sword, and started my sword art.

"I've never gotten tired of watching you play with your swords. It's beautiful and enchanting," Alice suddenly appeared on the side, looking sleepy and rubbing her eyes.

I just smiled and continued my sword art. I saw her on the side, looking at me with sparkling eyes, and she didn't utter a word. Hmm...perhaps I could teach her a thing or two. Anyway, after about 40 minutes, I ended my sword art because Alice reminded me of today's occasion.

I took a nice cold shower, dressed nicely, and then went to the balcony and sat on the chair. Alice had already prepared my tea, and I went to meditate while basking in the sunlight, waiting for Alice to finish preparing. After about an hour, she woke me up from my stance. She had already prepared and said, "It is time to go."

(At The Cullen's House)

We arrived early, and Alice excitedly went inside. I chuckled and followed after her. We reached the kitchen, and I saw the Cullens were cooking. After they noticed me, they greeted me, and I greeted them back.

"I hope you're hungry," Esme said while smiling.

"Of course," I replied. Then, I went to the table near the kitchen and sat down, while waiting for the food with Alice sitting beside me.

After 20 minutes, the food arrived, and then I ate while catching up with the Cullens and waiting for Edward and Bella to arrive. After roughly about 10 minutes, they arrived.

-Third Pov-

We can see Edward and Bella pulling up to the house and they went inside.

"Wow, this is incredible, so light and open, you know," Bella said in amazement while Edward helped her take off her jacket.

"What did you expect? Coffins and dungeons and moats?" Edward said while taking off his jacket. "No, not the moats," Bella replied, and Edward just chuckled.

They then proceed to walk to the kitchen, and we can see Esme cooking with the help of Carlisle, Emmett, and Rosalie. While at the table near the kitchen, we can see Mikael with Alice constantly feeding him, and Jasper and Thea sat on their opposite.

"Here comes the human," Rosalie said while the rest were smiling, then Edward and Bella showed up in the kitchen.

"Bella, we're making Italiano for you." Esme approached them and greeted Bella.

"Bella, this is Esme, my mother for all intents and purposes." Edward introduced Bella to Esme while the others were smiling at her.

Bella then greeted them back, and Esme said, "I hope you're as hungry as Mikael did."

Before Bella could say anything, Edward said, "She already ate."

After a moment of silence, Rosalie broke the glass bowl, and she said in an angry tone, "Perfect," while staring at Bella, and Emmett immediately comforted her.

Jasper and Thea then went to the kitchen as well, while Mikael... Well, he just ignored them and continued eating his food with Alice occasionally trying the food, but she just ate it with no expression, so it made Mikael chuckle.

"I-I know that you guys don't eat, so of course..." Bella explained, then Esme said, "That's very considerate of you."

Edward then said, "Just ignore Rosalie, I do."

"Yeah, let's just keep pretending that this isn't dangerous for all of us," Rosalie said in an annoyed tone while staring at Edward.

"I would never tell anybody, I promise." Bella said, then Carlisle said, "She knows it."

"Well, the problem is, you two have gone public now-" Emmett said but then was intercepted by Esme, "Emmett."

"No, she should know, the entire family will be implicated if this ends badly," Rosalie said while staring at Bella.

"Badly as in... I would become the meal," Bella said while the Cullens were laughing at her.

Bella then looked around her and she spotted Mikael and Alice sitting side by side at the table. She then said, "What about him?"

"He already knows about us and he accepts who we are," Carlisle said, then he looked towards Mikael, and Mikael looked towards Carlisle as well, and they seemed to understand each other.

Mikael, who just finished his food, stood up and looked towards the rest of the Cullens and nodded. Then he and Alice approached Bella.

"Hi, I'm Alice," Alice said while she hugged Bella, and Mikael just nodded at her.

"Oh, you do smell good, but not as good as Mikael's." She said again, but she didn't realize that her eyes turned crimson.

"Alice, what are you-" Edward said, but then he suddenly stopped and looked surprised.

"Alright, I'll take you on a tour of the rest of the house," Edward said while leaving with Bella with a stern gaze on his face, while Bella just looked confused.

The Cullens were confused too with the sudden change of expression. Then they looked at Alice, and they were shocked to see her eyes.

"Alice, care to explain?" Carlisle said in a serious tone.

"What do you mean-" Alice replied, but then Thea brought her a mirror.

"Oops..." Alice said while looking at the mirror, then she looked towards Mikael, and she smiled wryly.

-MC Pov-

*Sigh*

I then explained everything to them about the attempt to turn me into a vampire, then about Alice drinking my blood occasionally, and her sudden changes.

"Alice, why are you so reckless..." Carlisle said while rubbing his temples.

"What if he loses blood and dies?" Esme said in an angry tone while Alice just lowered her head.

I was planning on telling them about my immortality later, but alas, looking at Alice getting scolded by her family, I decided to step up and tell them about it now.

"Alright, that's enough, guys," I said with a stern voice and they immediately shut up.

"All of it was my idea and I don't mind it," I said while hugging Alice by the waist.

"Besides, I look fine, right?" I said while looking at them.

"Yeah, we're confused why you can't be turned into a vampire," Emmett said.

"You don't look like you're losing blood as well," Thea said.

"Carlisle, do you know something?" Rosalie asked Carlisle but he shook his head and said, "No, I've never seen something like this."

The Cullens looked at me with a confused gaze and I could see their faces demanding answers.

"It's because... I'm immortal."

I said, but the Cullens looked more confused and some of them were shocked. Then Edward suddenly appeared but without Bella, then I continued my explanation.

"You guys remember how my power works, right?" I said.

"Yeah, you said you gather nature's energy and turn it into your own power," Carlisle answered.

"Well, let's just say that, as long as energy exists... I will exist."

I came up with an excuse, of course, I can't say that I got my immortality because it was a gift from a cat. Well, it was God's cat but still, it's embarrassing to tell them about it.

It's not completely an excuse as well, because you really can become immortal if you accumulate enough energy and break the barrier that separates mortal and immortal.

When I was in Murim, I heard about those people who ascended and those who failed. But I heard more about the failed ones and the people in Murim kinda forget about the immortal stage and considered it as a myth, a legend. Because the heavenly tribulation was no joke, 99% of you will die while facing it.

Anyway, the Cullens were surprised and staring at me in disbelief. Even Alice looked a bit surprised too, so I just kissed her forehead and she smiled.

"So, what you mean is that, as long as the earth is not destroyed, you will exist forever?" Thea, being the smartest here, said, and I nodded at them.

"Cool," Emmett said.

I noticed Jasper staring at me like I was his prey, so I said, "Jasper, I'll let you drink my blood, but after that, I will kill you."

The atmosphere immediately went heavy, but then Carlisle said, "Sorry Mikael, Jasper is our newest vegetarian. I hope you forgive him."

"S-Sorry," Jasper said while Thea comforted him.

"Haha, I'm just kidding. I know you guys won't do that, and I won't let you guys do it either. And only Alice... can drink my blood," I said while laughing. Then Alice suddenly kissed me, and the atmosphere changed back to normal, and they were chuckling.

"Then it makes sense why her eyes looked similar to yours," Carlisle said. Then Alice and I nodded.

"Edward?" Bella suddenly showed up in the kitchen and called Edward.

"Sorry to leave you alone, Bella. I was just checking if Rosalie's hands are fine," Edward came up with his bad excuse. Rosalie rolled her eyes while the others were holding their laughter, and Bella just nodded.

"Alright, Bella, I'll show you something amazing," Edward said. Then he and Bella went upstairs.

After that, I watched Edward holding onto a tree with Bella on his back, just like in the movie. After they were gone, we couldn't hold it anymore and let out our laughter.

After that, I ate more of Esme's food and chatted. I explained more about my power to them. Then, after 30 minutes, Edward and Bella came back, and they joined us in the living room.

"Mikael, I have a question. Do you mind?" Bella suddenly asked me, gaining the Cullens' attention.

"Sure," I replied while cuddling with Alice.

"After that van incident, how did you heal so fast? Do you have superpowers too?" Bella said while the Cullens looked at each other and me.

"Well, Edward has explained their powers to you, right?" I said while pointing toward the Cullens, and she nodded.

"Thea there, she healed me, and now here I am," I said while Bella looked towards Thea, and she nodded, confirming my answer.

Bella still looked suspiciously at me, but she didn't ask any more questions. Edward then took her to play the piano while I and the rest of the Cullens continued our conversation.

Alice and I then went home, my home, and ended the day with another Netflix and chill.

(Somewhere in Fork's forest)

-Third Pov-

We can see that James and Laurent were standing on a tree while looking at the police. Then we see Victoria running while smiling, and she leaves a footprint. Then we can see the police were searching for something, and they found a footprint.

"What is it?" one of the police asked.

"It's human," Charlie answered in confusion.
