23 Ch.23 Life is a shit show with happy intervals.

"So he said that she should break up with Edward and also said that you are far too gone and basically called both of you a necro..."

I stopped her and said, "Yes, that's what he said."

Cat was angry I pulled her in close and I placed her head on my chest and I said "You don't have to worry about him... I don't care about him anymore..."

She looked at me and she said "But he is like your friend and Bella is kinda hell-bent on making everything... okay."

I said, "Well, Bella is delusional because I don't see him accepting Bella with Edward and as he put it I am already far too gone."

She then said, "Sometimes I wonder if we are too different to be together."

I chuckled and said, "We are different like a whole lot different but I decided that you make me happy and if I make you happy then I don't think we need to worry about anything."

She looked at me and smiled and kissed me. Esme then called us "Cat, Chris breakfast is ready to come quickly or you will be late for school."

I said, "I still don't get how you guys went through school multiple times."

We got up and I looked around the room and I said "I don't think Carlisle will keep buying you beds if we keep breaking 'em like this." I was getting dressed.

She smiled and said, "Then you should stop doing it."

I said "Technically it's your fault... cause you ride recklessly... I am amazed my shlong hasn't broken."

She bit her lips and said, "Who knows in the future maybe."

It was hard to control myself and I said "I'll get back to you on this."

We dressed up and went downstairs and almost no one was there because of us I guess all of them had already left for school. Esme had the lunch ready for me and she said "Be here at 7 we have a surprise for the both of you."

I looked at Cat and she shook her and I said: "Alright I'll be here at 7."

She then looked at Cat and said "You are also not to come home until 7 as well."

Cat was confused and asked, "What are you guys planning..."

Esme chuckled and said, "You'll see."

We then went to the bike and I said "I smell something fishy."

Cat said, "Yeah, they are doing something big."

I asked, "Can you..."

She stopped me and said, "I'll ask them for sure you ask my brother..."

I said, "God... help us."

We then went to school we were a little late for school 1st period had already started. I was sitting behind Bella and I asked her "Hey do you know anything about what will happen at 7?"

She looked confused and she said, "I don't know what you are talking about?"

I know that look and I said: "There is no way in hell that Edward didn't tell you something and I know that look on your face what is it."

Bella turned around and she said, "You'll just have to wait till 7 to know Chris."

And now I was even more anxious about what was going to happen at 7. It was lunchtime and I was in the cafeteria Cat flagged me down and I asked "Did you get something?"

She said, "No, even Rosalie won't tell me anything and she has this stupid smile on her face."

We then heard "I heard that." it was Rosalie. We looked at her and she waved.

Cat asked, "How about Bella?"

I shook my head and said, "She won't tell me anything as well."

Cat asked, "Should we try Emmet?"

Emmet said, "I ain't telling nothin'." He too had that goofy smile on his face.

She said, "If Emmet is keeping quiet then it is a bit serious."

I grabbed her hand and I said "I don't think it is going to be bad but I think we need to prepare ourselves."

We then ditched the rest of the classes and went out to calm our nerves. We were sitting in the field behind the school. We both were laying down and Cat asked "What do you think they are planning?"

I said, "Well, it can be anything like an intervention for us to stop breaking beds and stuff."

She shook her head and said, "Yeah, no Emmet and Rosalie were worse than us... they couldn't keep their hands off each other."

I looked at her and she said "I am not saying that we are any less... I mean we have a little more self-control."

I looked at her and laughed and she socked me in the chest and I said: "I am sorry..." I was thinking then I asked her something "Hey it was before Jasper joined yes?"

She nodded and I said, "I know what it is."

She was surprised and she looked at me and I said: "It's a house."

She looked at me and she said "What? No."

I then said "Think about it... Jasper is affected by feeling, yes and we are a little annoying when we do it."

She said, "It's because of you."

I said, "Point taken... and you have been sleeping in my house for like what 2-3 weeks it is enough time for you guys to make a house."

She said, "It could be but we'll see."

We then spent like hours there and then it was time to go there. I had called and informed Charlie that I will be staying at Cullens tonight as well. He was not that stoked about it but still, let me do it.

We reached the house and everyone was there and they were dressed as well and we were a little confused and Cat asked "What is going on?"

Alice then said, "Well, we were hoping to give this to you on your birthday but since Jasper is having some trouble we decided to move the dates a little earlier."

She then took Cat's hands and put the keys in her hands. She looked at me and she was happy and I was a little terrified and a little nervous. She then said, "Go and check your house."

We then went to check the house and it was a small cottage with stone walls and wooden beams and a big round window in the front. We opened the door and went inside and it had hardwood flooring and the ceiling was a little tall and the walls were white in colour.

We removed the shoes and went inside and there were 4 rooms and they were all furnished and there was a kitchen and I said: "We will need to learn how to cook."

She said, "We can always order in."

I said, "I don't want to go bankrupt so young."

She laughed and said, "You don't have to worry about that Chris."

She then said "Let's check out the back yard"

We went to the back and we saw a small shed for tools and stuff as well as a garden on the right side of the house and parking space as well. She said, "You will be able to work on your bike as well."

I said, "We can also make our own little Eden here as well." She smiled and kissed me and she then whispered "Want to check the bedroom."

I then picked her up and went to the master bedroom and I opened the door and I put her down because she was excited about the closet they already were full with both our clothes and there were many new ones as well. There were two walk-in closets and a fireplace.

I looked and there was a king-size platform bed and I thought they were very thoughtful with this. I jumped on the bed and the mattress was soft as clouds.

Cat came out and sat next to me and she said "This is the best gift ever."

I then sighed and said, "Well, it will be incredibly hard to beat when your actual birthday comes."

She just looked at me and said "I, have you... I don't need anything else." She then kissed me and I grabbed her and put her under and we removed our clothes and got down to it.
