Chapter 19 : Semi-Immortals

Jacob got out of there and nodded to Carlisle who did the same while everyone else was in the house waiting for Jacob's blood.

Some with anticipation but others with apprehension.

Jacob went to sit with Seth and his sister as Carlisle came out of his lab with a small cart containing 22 small vials containing Jacob's blood.

"Just that, Carlisle ?!" 

« That won't be enough for us!!! »

Several vampires started to complain about the low amount of blood and some started to get upset thinking it was a prank but Carlisle with all his sincerity asked them to trust him and he took a vial for himself.

Everyone came to help themselves except Danielle who Jacob held back because he wanted something other than a small bottle for her so he took her hand and they went out with the two wolves behind them.

Esme: Jacob, are you leaving already?

Jacob: I haven't seen my girlfriend in days and I want to make up for lost time with her. Enjoy your food.

Once outside, he asked Seth and Leah to come back to the reserve and that he would call them if necessary.

The Clearwater changed into their wolf forms and they were much bigger than before with their purple eyes glowing and they started running at a faster speed than their human form.

Jacob and Danielle arrived at the cabin with supernatural speed and they started kissing while undressing each other.

(if you want a description of Danielle, she almost looks like actress Alexandra Daddario, especially in her eyes.).

As he kissed his girlfriend, Jacob extended one of his canines to bite her lower lip and Danielle drank his blood while kissing him and he repeated this several times before they started making love for two whole days.

On the morning of the third day, while the two lovers were sleeping, Jacob was awakened by strange sounds, they sounded like faint drums, there were actually two of them. One was loud enough for his hearing and the other was so weak he had to concentrate to hear it.

He immediately woke up Danielle who had very slightly regained color and she herself realized that her heart was beating and with her vampire hearing, she also listened to the small heartbeats in her pelvis.

They immediately guessed what was happening and Danielle cried with joy as Jacob took her in his arms while he himself was shaking.

 « You carry our baby, you carry our child. » Jacob said hugging her tightly.

Danielle: I want us to get married Jacob…before the baby is born. I...I want to become your wife.

Jacob: Whatever you want my dear, whatever you want.

Danielle: Jacob I love you, I love you so much…(crying)

"I love you too Danny." He said after standing her up and looking into her eyes before kissing again. He even noticed that Danielle's strength had increased.

What the two of them hadn't noticed was that there was a third heartbeat inside Danielle but it was just fainter, twins were growing inside her. 

Later, they returned to the Cullens' house and the witnesses first looked at Jacob with gratitude before all frowning as they listened to the sounds that came from Danielle's chest, those who were standing remained frozen and those who were sitting stood up.

Kate and Garrett looked at each other as if they were beginning to realize something but the most shocked of all was Carlisle who slowly approached.

Carlisle: Jake...his heart...

Danielle: I came alive again Carlisle.

Jacob: She's like Renesmee now, she's a half-immortal with all the advantages of vampires and none of the disadvantages.

Amun muttered something in ancient Egyptian to express his shock.

"IT'S…IT'S A MIRACLE!! » Benjamin shouted before looking at his partner next to him.

Danielle: That's not all…(looks at Jacob)

Jacob: All of you, listen carefully to her.

They all fell silent and Rosalie dropped the plate she was holding upon realizing that Danielle was pregnant, although everyone was shocked at first, the house was invaded by a cacophony of exclamations at the miracle that Jacob and Danielle had accomplished.

What had happened to Bella and Edward was inexplicable and they could never dream of being able to have families, living families one day but thanks to Jacob, it was no longer a dream but a goal now.

Rosalie fell back on her knees with Emmett trying to hold her, she started to cry with joy but immediately two people entered the house and it was Alice accompanied by Jasper.

Bella: Alice!!

Esme: Where have you been?

Alice: South America, Jasper and I had heard rumors about a half-immortal in Brazil thanks to Edward but without really believing it so when we saw Renesmee, we knew it was possible. We were planning to bring him back not as a witness but as evidence but I had a whole series of visions.

"Now I understand why..." She said looking at Danielle then her gaze fixed on Jacob.

Carlisle: Alice what did you see?

Alice: I don't want to say anything for fear of ruining something but knowing what I wanted to do is no longer necessary.

Edward: Alice.

Jacob: What she means is that with me you can become stronger and beat the Volturi. The problem is none of you here came to fight, that's not why Carlisle called you.

Garrett: If we can get rid of them thanks to you then let's do it, I swear you'll have my eternal gratitude.

Tanya: The Denali will lend their forces.

Carlisle: Jacob, how could you do that?

Jacob: Danielle is stronger and faster than a newborn right now and her prowess would rival that of Leah and Seth whose strength you have had a glimpse of.

Strategically, if Danielle amplifies Kate's gift then she would be able to throw electric arcs at our enemies, if she does it with Benjamin, he will be able to create a torrent of flames on them since he can manipulate the elements. It's not very complicated but that's especially true if you decide to go into combat.

Carlisle: We will try to talk with Aro first and if he persists, we will have to destroy the Volturi.

Alistair: When Carlisle brought me here, I thought you were all crazy and thought about abandoning you several times but I was wrong. (looks at Jacob) I will never look down on those like you again, I apologize.

"I guess I'll have to get you a little more blood then but Carlisle, Bella , Edward and Alice, you won't be able to drink as much as the others for my plan to work properly" Jacob said as that made you smile others.

Garrett: What do you have in mind? I will be the first to listen to you my friend.

"Listen to me carefully…" He said with Renesmee in his arms.

(In the forest a little further)

Two days later, Seth and Leah were explaining to the youngest how to keep their cool when everyone heard rapid footsteps and the smell of foreign vampires, all of Carlisle's guests were already there so the two vampires who were there were clearly not guests.

Immediately, the Clearwater began running at high speeds towards the two vampires with the other three already transformed youths behind them.

Vladimir and Stefan the two vampires ran smiling when they heard the growls of the wolves behind them thinking that they were just normal wolves that they were going to have fun with when two figures started to catch up with them very quickly.

Panicked and shocked at what they saw, they tried to jump on the trees but it was too late, Seth grabbed Vladimir's leg and violently threw him against a tree but before he even fell back to the ground, Seth already had his hand on his neck and pinned him against the tree.

Leah for her part had jumped even higher than Stefan and cut his jump by hitting him with a violent punch which sent him to the ground, once the two were on the ground, Stefan wanted to get up quickly but the three young wolves jumped on him.

When they wanted to tear him to pieces, Leah asked them to stop when Stefan had severe mutilation marks on him.

Leah wanted to take them to the Cullens for questioning but it was useless because Carlisle, Jacob and Eleazar were already there.

Carlisle: Seth, Leah, thank you very much. These two are not our enemies but could be problematic.

Vladimir: Carlisle, what are these things? I have never seen such strong creatures.

Eleazar: They are werewolves.

Stefan: Nonsense, in human form these dogs are far from equal to us and their smell is not the same.

Eleazar: I didn't believe it myself at first. Why are you here?

Vladimir: We have learned that you are going to face the Italian vermin, we want to help you.

Carlisle: It's not really worth it, we'll manage.

Stefan: Let us fight Carlisle, if these poor kings fall we want to be among those who participate. Don't make us beg you for our own revenge.

Eleazar: Carlisle?

Carlisle: That's okay, but whatever you see or hear, you must not ask any questions.

Vladimir: You have our word.

They were taken back to the residence and once there, they were surprised among several Beats of the Cullens' heart.

Alistair was drinking alcohol which he certainly missed the taste of, the Denalis were sitting laughing together, Bree was happily sitting on a branch as several bird illusions hovered around her.

Renesmee ran to Jacob who hugged her and the other girls were with Danielle talking about everything and nothing.

Jasper with Garrett and Peter were reminiscing about war memories over a drink and Esme was having fun cooking for everyone with Benjamin and Tia who wanted to help.

Vladimir: Carlisle, this is the worthy army with which you plan to fight the Volturi. They don't...they... (realizes something) Carlisle, their hearts are beating?!

Stefan: I know some of them and they are our species!! HOW IS IT POSSIBLE ?!

"Shut up, you're disturbing my little moment of joy..." Alistair said in annoyance.

Vladimir: Wretch, do you know who you are talking to?

Immediately, Alistair rushed to grab his throat and lift him off the ground while with the other hand he drank his Whiskey.

Vladimir tried in vain to pull Alistair's hand away but he was far too strong for him. He ended up releasing him to go join Jasper and the others.

Stefan: CARLISLE...?!

Carlisle: All of us here, through some means I won't tell you, have become half-immortals, both vampires and humans, which makes us much stronger than newborns.

Vladimir: Is such a thing possible?

Eleazar: You see it though.

They left them there and Jacob congratulated Leah and Seth who were happy about that because because of their bond, if Jacob is happy with them then they will be satisfied with it like with a large release of endorphin in their brains.

Jacob later returned with them to the reserve with Danielle and told his father that she was pregnant.

Billy at first surprised cried with joy, he was not angry with his son whom he knew was mature enough to be a father now despite his young age and Jacob said they were planning to get married.
