2 Shocked

After a refreshing bath in the river, I began running through the forest. Uncle Caden followed me the whole time, even though it seemed that he had problems keeping up with my speed.

So, I decided to wait for him on a comfy moss bed. However, when I lay down, my eyes grew heavy, and before I knew it, I was already asleep. But sadly not for long, because someone started to shake me… I can't even get some sleep while sleeping...

"Leon… Leon, wake up!" I hear my uncle say, getting déjà vu from the car ride. So I tried to open my eyes, but the light was so bright that I immediately closed them again. 

"Man, it's bright… What is it, did I oversleep?"

"No, it's around 5 am… but you should probably still wake up," he says, somewhat worried. What is wrong with him? Does he think my good looks come alone from my mother? I need my ten hours of sleep…

"Give me 3 more hours than we talk… good night," I say and then turn away from him while enjoying the smell of the moss.

Wait… I feel around with my hand on the ground, but it doesn't feel like a bed. So I force my eyes open and give them some time to adjust, only to see that I'm still in the middle of the forest from my dream.

"Still thinking it was all a dream?" I hear him say behind me, and turn towards him before freezing in place because he was suddenly completely naked… Oh, God, he's one of the uncles I heard so much about! I need to get away from him!

Using his confusion about my shocked face, I jumped up from my resting place to get away from him. However, for some reason, the jump turned out so high that I lost control and crashed with my head first into the ground nearby.

"Ouch… Hmm, it doesn't hurt?" I say confused, after not breaking my neck. But the surprises didn't end there… Because when I stood up, I saw not only that I was naked but also ripped…

What the hell? Did I spend the whole night in a magical gym? My body is like that of an expert athlete, and my view seems also to be higher than usual.

"Leon, stay calm, these changes are normal after the first transformation. You will get used to it, I promise you that. But you have to listen to me now and answer me honestly. Who was the one who bit you?"

Bit me? I mean, I had a girlfriend who liked doing this, but something tells me this was not what he meant… "No one? What do you even mean by it?" I asked my exhibitionist uncle, who came slowly closer to me.

"This can't be. Try to remember it must have happened the last full moon," he says seriously. But the only strange thing was the moon dreams but nothing else.

"Like I said, nothing bit me. The last full moon, I was peacefully sleeping in my bed… What is this even about?" I ask him, getting more and more confused.

"No signs of lying… Amazing!" he suddenly says with a wide grin and tries to hug me. But since I don't cross swords, I push him back, which sends him flying before a tree stops him … Oops.

"Damn, you are strong… that is also awesome, come on let's go home, we need to have the talk!" he says happily while jumping up from the tree kissing as if nothing happened.

"Wait… what talk are we talking about? If it's about the bees, I had it already and don't want to talk about it with you…" I tell him, and back away.

"Bees? No, the Strand family werewolf talk. Come on, follow, we sprint home. This will also make you see what your body is capable of now," he says and starts to sprint, which triggers something in me and I chase after him like Usain Bolt.

Yeah, I was extremely fast… But it was not the same as in the "dream"... So I tried to remember how it was running through the woods like a werewolf, and suddenly my body started to change.

*Crack, crack* My body cracked a few times and began to tingle, but it felt good, so I continued to run. Until my point of view completely changed, and I was suddenly on all four.

I stopped for a moment to look at myself, expecting a giant werewolf, but strangely my body seemed to be looking like a normal big dark grey wolf… Interesting, do I have different forms? 

As if hearing this, my body started to shift, and I grew to my normal werewolf form. Stop! It's already bright, maybe it is not a good idea to turn into a seven-foot werewolf now… my body reacts again, and I turn back into the normal wolf.

Man, that is so cool!

Let's see what I can do in this form. I sprint forward, while my surroundings get blurry for a second before my eyes adapt to it, and shortly after I pass my shocked uncle and follow the scent of my new home, only to arrive there shortly after.

Damn, this form is even faster than my normal werewolf form, but it is also expected since it is much lighter…

After a few minutes, my uncle came sprinting out of the woods, while his body blurred a bit when he moved. Before stopping in front of me and looking totally shocked, as if seeing a werewolf… 

So I ask my body nicely to transform back into my human form. It reacts immediately, causing my fur to fall off and disappear, while my body turns back into my normal human self.

But for some reason, this shocked him even more, and he dropped to his knees while asking, "What… what did you do right now? No… what are you?"

This makes me raise my brows since he should be the one who needs to know all this, "Leon Strand? The new werewolf in town, it seems? So what was that about the family werewolf talk?"

"You really don't know?" he asks, perplexed, making me shake my head.

This calms him down for some reason, and he suggests while standing up, "Let's go inside, take a shower, and meet back in the kitchen." 

Then he opens the door, and we both walk inside. Why do I have a feeling that this will all get weird soon…

Anyway, arriving at my room, I grab my hygiene stuff out of my bag and enter the bathroom that is next to my room. Afterwards, I take a shower before walking to the sink to brush my teeth. Which also gives me the chance to take a good look at myself. 

The only things that didn't look different on my body were my blue eyes and the manly beard that started to grow one year ago. Everything else changed drastically.

First, my skin became, to say it simply… perfect. Not a single spot that was not smooth or looked strange, even the scars from surviving the car crash, disappeared.

Also, I was 5'8" (1.73 m) before, but now I am around 6'1" (1.85 m), and even my friend down there got a sudden growth spurt overnight… 

Don't get me wrong, I was satisfied with my body before, but I was average in all aspects and didn't stand out from the crowd. Which will probably change now. 

Now I have only one problem… none of my clothes will fit me anymore.

"Leon, I placed some clothes in front of the door since you probably will need them…" says my Uncle after hearing my thoughts. 

So I open the door and grab the newly bought boxers, black polo shirt, blue jeans, and socks to put them on. Well, it seems I am about the height of Uncle Caden now, since the clothes fit perfectly. 

And after styling my hair up like I always do, I go down to the kitchen where my caretaker already waits for me with a coffee.

It seems even in my human form my senses are enhanced because I have never smelled such good coffee before. Also, even when Uncle Caden looks relaxed sitting there, I can hear his heart pound like crazy…
