Hybrids

Aro grimaces as he realizes that his position could be in jeopardy if he orders the Volturi to go back without any evidence that she would not be dangerous.

Caius sees that Aro is reluctant in taking the next step and says to the Cullens, "you do not have a choice nor is there any option for you. The Volturi commands you to hand over the half immortal to Volturi where she will be studied to see if she is of harm or not."

All the Cullen's grimace and start to get ready for a war but Aro interjects and stops the situation, "the Volturi is willing to compromise and let the Cullens leave in peace if we have some assurance that the child, Renesmee, would remain concealed from the human world or at least not a threat to our kind. However according to the reports provided by the Volturi members, her visits to the human side insists that such assurance cannot be provided."

The Volturi members are not happy with this it seems to them that they are being scared and retreating. Ciaus calls to object Aro but Aro in fear of his own death rejects it and looks at Simon in anger.

Edward claims, "the assurance can be provided."

Ciaus was about to refute the claim when Alice waves forward a young Ticuna. Simon senses his blood which was similar to that of Renesmee.

Aro looks at the new arrival with interest, "and who might this gentleman be?"

The Ticuna answers, "I am named Nahuel."

"And what are you?"

"A human-vampire hybrid. My father was a vampire named Joham, who seduced my mother. After she discovered she was pregnant with the vampire's child. She ran away knowing that the people would want to destroy the child. She tried to find my father, but without success. My aunt cared for her sister during her dangerously rapid pregnancy, by hunting for her and trying to keep her alive through the hard time. She died in childbirth.My very first postbirth memory is of my aunt's scent, and her face as she tried to lift me from my mother's body. I bit her and changed her into a vampire."

"You were able to create an immortal?" Aro was surprised by this fact.

"Yes. After her transformation was complete, they began their nomadic life. I followed her scent to her, teaching myself to crawl on the first day of life. I learned to speak two weeks after birth. I became fully grown after 7 years, and have been like this for the last 150 years."

"Are there others like you?" Aro asks with unhidden interest.

"Yes. my sister, Serena, came looking for me but my aunt was able to chase her away with her newborn strength. We resided in the South American forests since then. A few years later, my father found me, wanting his only son to join him. He believed that he is creating a super-race with human/vampire hybrid children. He has three other hybrid daughters, and raises them to think of humans as animals."

"What of your food? Are you human or vampire?"

"I can survive on both blood or regular human food."

Marcus ends the matter knowing that it is of no use to stay here and there are other hybrids tht the Volturi can obtain, "these children are just like us."

Faced with this evidence as well as his death if a war occurs. Aro gathers the Volturi and take their leave.

Aro takes a last look at Bella and says to himself, "such a prize."

As the Volturi are going back two vampires in the Cullen's allies start taunting the Volturi. They say, "we have to pursue and destroy the Volturi we won't get a better chance in the future."

A few guards of the Volturi stop and look back at them menacingly.

Carlisle shoots down that idea and resolves the situation, "Vladimir and Stefan there will be no fighting".

Knowing that if they fight they would have no support and would die, they are displeased, but stop as without any support, cannot pursue the Volturi on their own.

...

As they were returning back to Volterra, Aro orders.

"Jane, Simon, Afton, Demetri, Santiago, Renata you know what to do."

All of them nod and change their direction towards Brazil.

Aro then moves towards Marcus, "my friend they might need your help."

Marcus simply defects from the main group and follows after the vampires that had left.
