35 Blood bath

Simon who had his attention occupied by his fight with Benjamin felt his senses tingle and then a thread break inside him. The time around him slowed down his vision expanded he didn't know how and he didn't bother to think about how.

He sees Caius fighting against Denali coven only to be kicked into Kate's clutches, her electric shocks incapacitate Caius as Tanya approaches and rips off the top half of Caius's head.

He saw Marcus, who had already realized that after this Volturi would have no future, he simply sighs in relief, "soon we'll be together" and welcomes his death.

Finally, his sight lands on Jane her head separated from her limp body. Simon just looked at it his face blank.

He feels Benjamin approaching him to attack. Simon sidesteps grabs his arm, smashes him into the ground and kicks off his head. He then takes out all the vials of blood he had and forms a blood cube that covers the whole battlefield he summons the humanoid blood creatures and mumbles absent-mindedly, "feast upon all of them."

The creatures nearly amounting to 30 rush off to find their prey. There was no friend or foe to them, only food.

Simon with broken steps goes towards the body of Jane not minding anything in his path.

Aro yells, "Simon stop this insolence this moment." As the little blood creatures start to attack him.

Simon simply waves his hand without stopping or looking at him and a dozen more blood creatures rush towards Aro and attack him. Aro screams and screams but death doesn't approach him.

Simon stood next to Jane's body he dropped his knees.

"No. No. No. No. I.. I can still save you. You can't die. You can't leave me. You promised me." Simon sobbed as he remembered her sweet whispers, her soft caress.

With trembling hands he picked her head used his ability to join her head back to her body but even after joining them there was no sign of life.

"Work. Damn it!!"

Simon slammed his arms on the ground.

"Work. Work. Work. Work. Work. Work. Work. Work. Work. Work."

Simon kept shouting using his ability to heal Jane but no amount of healing could bring her back.

The battlefield was chaotic vampires and wolf tried to flee but the blood walls stood firm, the blood creatures attacking everyone, Aro still screaming in pain and a few of the vampires rushing towards Simon to kill him.

"Don't come near her." Simon shouted as he sent blood blades towards them killing them or cutting off their limbs.

Their lives held no meaning to Simon he was blinded by grief, rage that he didn't even notice the death of the ones he called his brothers.

The survivors still came to attack him, which annoyed him. Simon started to make the cube smaller killing them all faster. His eyes landed on the wolves his anger grew and a blood bath started. He made their blood boil not killing any of them just making them suffer, he kept trying the cruelest ways he had developed in his life to make them suffer, to kill them.

The cube kept on shrinking until everyone other than Simon was either dead or half step away from death. Simon bent over Jane's face and place a long chaste kiss on her lips conveying to her that even death will not keep them apart as yellow tears of venom endlessly roll down his cheeks.

"I'm coming after you."

Alice's vision grew darker as the last thing she sees is Simon using a blood sword to cut off his own head which rolls on the ground tears .

Aro let go of Alice's hand visibly shaken by the foreseen future she has shown him if he continues on this path, and has made him realize that they will die if their meeting turns into a war. He takes a moment to calm himself down as he vividly remembers this screaming and pleaded to end his suffering.

Aro looks towards Simon who looks back at him with his usual expressionless face.

Aro tries to back off from the idea of war with Cullens, "it seems that there is no need for a war today."

But the others are still worried and unsatisfied with this arrangement. "Aro we know nothing of the child, she is could still be dangerous to our whole species."

Aro says nothing he knows that there is nothing known about the child and going back without a proper explanation would make him look weak in front of Volturi. Which would get him in a difficult position.
