548 I feel no fear (3)

Boom!

When the two collided head-on, the sharp dagger quickly passed through the fiber gap under Airon's combat suit armor and pierced the skin beneath, but before it could exert any more force, it got firmly stuck in place.

If the person holding the dagger continued pushing forward at this moment, the dagger could penetrate Airon's chest in the blink of an eye, but obviously, she didn't have that option.

Airon tightly held this woman's palm, her face indistinguishable, with one hand, and the tingling pain in his chest gave him an extreme sense of agony. Adrenaline did its job; he couldn't allow the dagger to move an inch further.

Immediately, he advanced with his other hand. Although the enemy unconsciously evaded, there was still a hand pushing the figure away at such close range. There was no moment to attack, but suddenly Airon attacked the woman's head.

A dagger dropped from her hand. The woman who had suffered such a blow to the head could no longer control her body. Although she tried to resist and fight, she couldn't withstand the force of the blow.

As if understanding that she couldn't escape today, the woman seemed to have received some signal, and her other arm holding the dagger unconsciously raised, attacking with force, but suddenly a bullet pierced her head.

Seeing someone else kill this woman, Airon turned his head and looked at the girl who was lying on the ground a moment ago. After she died, he forcefully moved her to the side.

"Thank you, girl. What's your name?" Airon stood up from the ground and lightly touched his chest, feeling the blood dripping from it.

Furthermore, the fighting power of these people far surpassed that of ordinary folks, along with some very strange abilities. This made Airon feel that something strange was happening in this place.

But at this moment, he still chose to set aside these things, but he took the pistol and aimed at the corner behind, shouting abruptly, "Who else is here, come out!"

"It's me, Daryl!"

Someone in an alley soon responded, and then Daryl dragged his blood-soaked body, leaned against the wall, and greeted Airon.

Seeing the familiar figure, Airon breathed a sigh of relief and slowly lowered the gun, took a step forward, looked at Daryl's appearance, and couldn't help but joke, "What happened? Are you out of breath after running a few steps?"

But Daryl obviously didn't understand Airon's humor. He looked at Airon with narrowed eyes, pointed to the corpse on the ground, and asked, "Where did these guys come from...? I've never seen them before."

"I don't know, but these people must have secrets..."

Airon dragged several corpses together on the ground, then watched as Daryl healed the unconscious girl and asked, "Why are these people hunting children? They don't seem to be anything special."

"She's still unconscious..."

After resting for a while, Daryl gradually regained his strength, approached Airon, looked at the corpses, and said, "I just went to the department store and saw the corpse of a child, these damn lunatics killed him."

"At least we have a girl alive. When she wakes up, she might be able to tell us what happened."

Upon hearing this, Airon shook his head, rubbed his hands, and began searching for some corpses.

"Let me see, none of you left anything behind, but I need to know if there are more of you in this place."

With experienced hands touching the corpses, Airon cleaned out all the pockets of several bodies in just a few minutes.

What disappointed him was that besides some unused pistol magazines from this man's body, there was also a book with a combat record on the leader's body, but nothing else.

"Airon, come and see this."

However, when Daryl was searching the soldiers' backpacks, he found something. After shouting, he pulled out a rectangular box from each backpack, one for each bag, and there were three in total.

"Drugs?"

Seeing those rectangular boxes, Airon couldn't help but be surprised and quickly took out his backpack and pulled out a box of the same style.

"Do you know about drugs?"

Seeing this, Airon frowned slightly, but he also wanted to understand if this was about drugs or not. He opened one of the boxes and saw neatly arranged syringes inside.

Reaching for an injection bottle, he looked at the turquoise liquid moving back and forth and murmured, "What the hell is this?"

"It looks like an injection liquid..."

Airon also took out an injection bottle, but the liquid inside was crystal pink. He contemplated for a while and said, "They have one box for each person. These things are very important to them. It seems that a sniper is still alive..."

As he said that, he put the injection back into the box, gathered all the boxes, and put them in a backpack. Then he took the combat manual, exchanged information with Daryl, and after confirming that everyone was fine, they headed towards the remaining group to wait for the others.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the town, when Airon and Daryl were hurrying back, George and the others encountered problems.

Roar!

Inside the car repair shop.

The howls of walkers approached rapidly from all directions, and countless ferocious faces lunged toward the three figures in the car repair shop.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

George and Victor raised their rifles and shot the heads of all the walkers invading their building.

"Zz... We're an hour away from your position."

Seeing the walkers getting closer and closer, sweat broke out on George's forehead, and he couldn't help but shout, "What's your situation now?"

"Kill and escape!"
