Harper, Klaus and Elijah were in a three-way duel each of them with a rapier and Harper was dominated by the two originals.

They were much stronger, experienced and faster than himself even if he had excellent technique thanks to the memories by Angelo Bronte.

His clothes showed several cuts related to the multiple wounds he suffered which closed up, against other vampires he could show himself better but against the originals, his prowess was still inferior for the moment.

He found himself on the ground completely tired of being manhandled, laughing at himself while Klaus and Elijah were still having fun fighting each other.

"It seems like I'm still better than you brother..." Klaus said blocking Elijah's attacks before counterattacking.

Elijah: (Dodges) Who told you I wasn't holding back?

"You're wasting your time Elijah, Niklaus will win...again..." Harper said lazily before walking towards one of the 26 beautiful maids in the large building that served as their home.

The woman watched him approach her with a smile and he kissed her languidly on the lips before she offered her wrist for him to bite and feed on.

He only drank a little blood before looking at the woman who was smiling, she actually liked it.

These women were there of their own free will, to care for them and be in the company of these powerful beings with the hope of one day being turned.

The 26 women were very well paid and served as nutrition for them, 26 women were an important source of blood when we knew how to take care of them and treat them well, they could drink a little from each of them to be satisfied without disrupt the health of these women who will have lost only a very negligent quantity of blood each.

This idea came from Harper and the appreciation was great. They lived in a noble and comfortable manner, showing up at festivals and great events to enjoy them.

Klaus liked that a lot, he was still completely the same man but he also liked living like that. He and Harper ended up sitting on a large couch and while Klaus was feeding, Harper was still kissing the same maid as well as another one who was kissing his neck.

Elijah, for his part, fed himself by the wrist of a servant with whom he had a romance.

Harper was continuing to flirt with the two maids when Rebekah entered the room and stood with her arms crossed looking at Harper and the women with a face filled with anger.

"Go away…" She said sternly to the maids who bowed slightly in fear, they wanted to stand up but Harper held them by their hips.

Harper: I don't really appreciate you being rude to these women Rebekah, they work hard and are decent people.

"I want them gone and that's it…I thought you only had Karen." Rebekah responded even more sternly.

Harper: It's true but I'm free to have fun from time to time, she and I have... eternity...

Black veins appeared under Rebekah's lower eyelids and Harper looked distressedly at Klaus for his intervention.

Klaus: This is your problem brother, my little sister is the stubborn type...

 Harper: Elijah?

Elijah looked towards Rebekah and immediately looked at something which put him on alert, it was a small black thin dagger but before he could call out to Rebekah, the cry of one of the maids was heard.

Without even a second's hesitation, Harper stood up and quickly headed towards the scream only to find Kol biting the neck of one of the already unconscious maids.

He charged directly towards Kol by surprise to block him against a wall while Klaus and Elijah arrived surprised to see their brother out of his coffin.

Rebekah also arrived and looked at the unconscious servant.

"She's dead..." Elijah said taking the handmaid's pulse and it deeply angered Harper who looked at Kol and tried to break his neck but Kol was an original, he quickly broke Harper's arm before to send him flying by pushing him away.

 Klaus: KOL, NO!

Kol: Hello my dear brothers, you don't seem happy to see me again…

"MAY I KNOW WHAT WAS GOING THROUGH YOUR MIND?" Elijah shouted at Rebekah.

Rebekah: You, Niklaus and Harper are the only ones having fun and I needed our brother's company.

Klaus: YOU WAKE HIM UP WITHOUT OUR AGREEMENT ?!

Kol: Stop yelling at her, Rebekah is the only one who thought of me.

They began bickering as Harper knelt near the deceased's body before getting up and walking towards them.

Harper: Get out of my way, I gave this girl my word that no harm will come to her and he killed her, I'm going to dismember him and find a permanent way to end his existence.

Klaus: You're not serious at all.

They looked at Harper's face as black veins appeared on his lower eyelids and his eyes turned black with red iris, he was serious and they were alerted by this as they stood in front of Kol facing Harper with Rebekah not even knowing what to say or do, it was all her fault.

Elijah: Harper, I urge you to calm down my friend.

Klaus: Let's quickly forget this annoying MATTER, brother...

"You seem to forget that I do what I want and what I want is to torture him for what he just did...(looks at Rebekah) This girl died because you freed your brother, be prepared to suffer If you get in my way..." he said as he moved forward, Kol looked at him with contempt asking who Harper was before feeling excruciating pain in all parts of his body, Harper cast a spell on him which turned his blood into acid, burning him from the inside but also from the outside.

Kol's screams were horrible and perfectly conveyed the unbearable pain that hit him, his whole body was burning, his brothers charged towards Harper to neutralize him but with a movement of his hand, they were pinned against the walls to be fixed there without able to make a move, they were the original vampires but Harper was an enhanced heretic with inordinate magical talent.

Any vampire, original or not, is vulnerable to magic and Harper was literally a magic monster.

"I told you not to get in my way..." He told them as their bones began to painfully break over and over again, Kol too was not spared as Harper brought his blood to normal but he had given her more violent aneurysms instead.

Harper immediately grabbed him before biting him hard on the neck to drink his blood and Harper sank into incredible euphoria as he felt Kol's infinite life energy being absorbed by him. The others watched in shock, a vampire feeding on another vampire who was their brother no less.

 Klaus: HOW DARE YOU ?!

 Elijah:...Kol...

Rebekah in the same situation as them looked at it all like a child who had caused a disaster and it was. They had seriously underestimated Harper, underestimated beyond belief.

They told him clearly that conventional means of killing a vampire were ineffective against them and he had demonstrations.

They had done it strategically to dissuade him from ever trying this kind of thing but unfortunately for them, they had forgotten that if he could not kill them, he could still easily neutralize them with magic to which they were totally vulnerable.

Harper let Kol fall limply to the ground as his body withered, he sat down to digest all that energy, he wasn't yet powerful enough to absorb the soul of an original but he had absorbed a very much of the magic in Kol's body and it was so heavy that Harper felt his body burn and become heavy.

Harper: Your brother is still alive but he is weak, very weak at the moment. He'll need time, a lot of time to get back into shape. You're going to be stuck on these walls for a long time yet so I'm going to bid you farewell and leave you, our paths will part ways here.

Klaus: You've just made a big mistake, I'm going to find and kill one by one those who-(interrupted)

"Are you sure you want to make an enemy of me, Niklaus ? You can kill exactly who you want, I don't care but I will come back to you and offer you a fate even worse than death, you know very well what I am capable of my friend. I ask you one last time, don't do anything that would make me your enemy…" He stood up and elegantly brushed the dust off his clothes.

"Let's meet again in better circumstances next time, goodbye…" He said before leaving just like that, because he simply wanted to and above all because he had to find a place to fall asleep deep in order to digest Kol's vital energy.

He went to a place he knew well, a church outside the city with a fairly large cemetery, he went there quickly and saw a mausoleum inside which there was a stone tomb, he opened it and took out the completely decomposed body inside and threw it far away in the woods.

"Incindia…" He said the phrase and the inside of the tomb burned with the insects and biological waste inside. He was going to use a lock spell to not be disturbed and he needed a lock so Harper took out a double eagle coin ($20).

The coin in his hands, Harper began to recite a series of incantations when the fire in the tomb suddenly grew stronger before suddenly dying out.

Without waiting, he entered the tomb, lay down and closed the stone slab on him to close the stone tomb.

Inside, he uttered an incantation as he placed the coin on the stone surface above him and it remained fixed as if with glue.

The tomb was sealed and protected by magic, nothing could damage or open it because the lock was inside.

The energy that Harper had absorbed was really too heavy so in the darkness and dead silence, he began to fall asleep peacefully, he hadn't said anything to Karen or the others and the originals thought that he had left town but he didn't care about them all and just wanted to digest this power, they could all die, Harper didn't care.

So, on May 2, 1916, Harper disappeared without leaving any information to anyone.
