1 Chapter-1 What Happened To Me?

" Where am I? What happened to me? "

She was still in daze when she opened her big black eyes as she found only darkness surrounding her and swallowing her.

She tried to get up but a fierce pain from her chest, neck, arms and legs forced her to fall on the ground again.

" You are awake? Can you open your eyes now? Can you see me? How are you feeling? ", a voice bombarded her with questions while she was not even able to get up.

With a pair of drowsy and puffy eyes, she struggled to look around to find a pair of long legs near her waist.

The man, on seeing her wiggling, came near her but the darkness made only his silhouette visible to her teary eyes.

At that moment, she looked up and found a very handsome face eyeing over her but she did not care about that, as the pain in her body was slowly engulfing her.

" Has your pain not subsided yet? ", he asked with worry.

" Whe... Where am I? ", she asked, using the last ounce of strength left in her fragile body.

" Don't you remember? It is I who should ask you. "

She looked around but there was no glimpse of light in the dark place with only a ray of moonlight, entering in a hallow shape. It appeared to her that she was in a dark cave after looking up to see rocks on the ceiling.

" Can you get up? ", the voice asked again, pulling her out of her thoughts.

She tried arising but the shriek pain her body coerced her to lie down.

" It's fine. Go to sleep and when you will open her eyes, all this pain would have disappeared along with this shabby place. ", he said as he injected something in her body and in no time, she started feeling drowsy.

Before she could object or question what was happening to her and what he was doing to her, the fluid injected in her body started started reacting, making her feel drowsy and forcing her to sleep.

" Sleep well and you will be fine again. "

These were the last words she heard before she was swallowed by darkness while the voice started fading. After making sure that she fell asleep, he held her fragile body and carried her somewhere.

" What happened? Where am I now? ", the girl said, trying to arise as the pain had disappeared.

When she opened her eyes, she found herself in a brightly lit room in a warm, cozy bed, covered in a blanket. She looked around to find her hand attached to an IV fluid which was injecting some kind of fluid and she was alone in the huge room.

" Ah! My head. ", she said, grabbing her head when she felt a shrieking pain in her head.

The pain was so severe that she was not able to control herself and she started crying in pain.

Hearing her cries, a girl came running in the room.

" What happened? What happened? ", she asked repeatedly, in worry.

" My head! My head! It feels like it is getting smashed. I can't bear this pain. ", she replied, crying, not caring who was present with her.

" Don't worry. It is just the side effect. It will subside in some seconds. "

The girl said, hugging her tightly to prevent her from moving as the IV was getting lose.

Just as the girl said, that pain also disappeared in just some seconds and she calmed down.

" Are you alright now? ", she asked, after.

" Yes. "

" You will be fine after taking the drip. "

" Thank you but, can I ask you something? ", she asked the girl who was taking care of her, hesitantly.

" Sure, go ahead. I am sure that you must be having hundreds of questions in your mind. Ask away. ", the girl replied with a gentle smile.

" First of all, who are you and where am I? "

The moment she heard her question, she started laughing.

" Oh sorry! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Emma and I am Alex's friend. ", she replied laughing.

" Alex? Who is Alex? ", she asked, surprised.

" You don't know Alex? "

" No. "

" Then why did he ask me for this favor? He is not the type to ask others for favours until it is very urgent. ", Emma said.

" Is he the man who brought me here? ", she asked, hesitantly.

" Yes yes. ", Emma replied, excitedly. " He is the one who brought you here but he didn't tell me anything about you. So, what is your name? "

" Oh! I am also sorry. I should have told you my name instead of asking so much. I am Lilly. "

" Nice to meet you Lilly. You are so beautifull. ", she exclaimed making Lilly flustered.

" Thanks but can I ask you what happened to me? Why was I there and why did this Alex bring me here? "

" I am sorry Lilly but as I told you, I don't know anything. Alex just brought you here and then he called me, asking me to come here immediately. When I found you, your clothes were covered in blood and it seemed that you were already dead. "

" NO. I remember that this Alex gave me some kind of shot making me pass out. ", Lilly protested, contradicting Emma's claims.

" I know. He told me that he gave you a tranquilizer. Do you know what it is? "

" Of course I know but why did he give me a tranquilizer? ", she asked.

" He said that he had to, to make you go to sleep as you were in excruciating pain. "

" Did he tell you what happened to me? ", she asked.

" No, he didn't. He just said that I have to make sure that you get well. That man didn't even tell me what I have to do and I had a really tough time deciding that. "

" So, you also don't know what happened to me? "

" No. ", she replied.

" Then can I ask you something else? "

" No. I will not answer anymore questions now. You didn't eat anything, right? Let me get you something to eat and then we will talk. I am also curious about the mystery girl. ", Emma said and without waiting for Lilly to reply, she ran out of the room, leaving the poor girl alone.
