1 Chapter 1 Pain

Emma opened the large package. She was in her fiancé's house, and she saw a big package in his room, she assumed that the package was for her. Inside the large package there were beautiful dresses and jewelry she was wondering that Jason, her fiancée doesn't use to give her any kind of gifts.

The sound of a car can be heard. Emma suddenly went near the door to welcome her loving fiancé. When she saw him, she jumped into his arms and kissed him.

"Hey"she said

"Hello Emma" he replied

"Jason, are you planning to surprise me. You know I hate surprises don't you ??.. I saw a package in your room that was full of dresses and jewelry." She asked curiously.

"What are you talking, Emma? Why did you open that package" he asked angrily.

"Those gowns....." She whispered

Suddenly, he understands that she was talking about the gowns and jewelry that he ordered for Amelia, his mistress. He and Amelia have a secret relationship for 4 months.

"Emma….thaa..tt wasn't…. for…you…." He gently said.

"Not for me…what are you saying Jason if it's not for me then who .....wait are you seeing someone else behind my back" she can feel the tears rolling down from her eyes

He looked down and nodded

"Are you in love with her, Jason??" She asked quietly.

"Yes"he replied

Her world stops, but she didn't say anything and started to walk away from him, but Jason grabbed her arm and said

"Emma, please understand I know I made a mistake, but I don't love you" he said

SLAP

"Don't dare to touch me. If you love someone else why did you play with my heart" she snarled!

He let go of her arm and she started walking towards the door

She went to her apartment, she saw her roommate Kathy. She was her best friend since their childhood, she suddenly hugged her from the back causing Kate to jolt. Kate noticed Emma was crying hard.

"Emma….why are you…. crying ….what happened ?" She asked.

Emma explained everything to her, she kept crying for the whole night and Kate comforted her
