Patronus Charm and Time With My Girl
The presence of the Dementors was felt the same day they arrived to surround Hogwarts, they conveyed an aura of oppression. Even from a distance they seemed to suck all the joy out of the castle.
My only option at this point was to ensure that the girls I had contact with spent this period comfortably.
After talking to Bridget we came to the agreement that I could continue accompanying Ginny and Luna during classes.
Luna may not be as close to me as Ginny, but she knows I have my eye on the girl.
The first week with the Dementors' presence became increasingly oppressive. The general feeling of the students in the castle was one of hopelessness, everything and anything we tried to do seemed to become little by little more difficult.
The atmosphere was getting so heavy that Professor Lupin decided it was time to teach all the students something. With the Headmaster's permission he was authorized to teach the Patronus Charm to all students.
"Dementors are dark creatures, perhaps the darkest creatures we know of. They feed on feelings, more specifically happy feelings and exactly that is the greatest power you have against them." – explained Professor Lupine during the Defense Against the Dark Arts class.
This Spell was something that many around me were interested in learning, as the Dementors were greatly affecting the student body.
"You need to look for your happiest memories, perform a circular movement and recite the Spell, Expecto Patronum." – he said right before demonstrating.
With the wand in his hand he made a circular movement and recited.
"Expecto Patronum." – in a firm voice.
From the tip of his wand a pure white light appeared, causing the oppressive atmosphere around us to dissipate.
"When you truly master this Spell, you will be able to conjure a Corporeal Patronus, it usually takes the form of an animal that is influenced by your personalities and life history." – he explained.
I took a deep breath looking through my memories, I had lived too long, it was difficult to identify which would be my happiest memory.
Feelings tend to harmonize when you've lived as long as I have.
Being a Dual Cultivator all my life, I had many moments when the girls I chose started to have real feelings for me. This type of moment was always a very important point that made my heart experience great joy.
When my Clan reached the status of one of the ten most powerful in the Supreme Realm it was another moment of great emotion, it was the conclusion of thousands of years of struggle and recognition for me.
I was trying my best to search my memories while most of the people around me were already trying to perform the Spell.
I relived my memories of basically all of my weddings.
Until I got to my first one.
Xue Hongyun.
One of those who could accompany me to the top.
I met her in my first life in the greatest sense of the expression. We were only two hundred years old, she was the Holy Daughter of the Heavenly Spring Sect. We met during the war against the Demoniac Sects of the Acacia World, our birth world.
She was against having a relationship with me for years, but in the end I managed to win her over. She was the first one I thought about having children with, but unfortunately we couldn't get to that point.
When we ascended from Acacia World to Jiutie World together with my other wives Xia Xinger and Bai Lingxue. We joined the Yin-Yang Petal Palace and lived there for nearly a hundred years. As one of the Palace Elders I needed to accompany the disciples on a tour.
Luo Longbai, the Palace Patriarch tried to take advantage of her and ended up killing her before I could return from exploring the Pocket Realm.
When I returned and discovered her body, I killed the bastard and destroyed the palace to its last brick.
Xinger was never the same after that, they were like sisters.
The memory of my marriage to Xue Hongyun was probably my happiest memory, it was the first time I felt truly complete.
The class was already coming to an end and with tears in my eyes I took out my wand and conjured my Patronus.
"Expecto Patronum." – I said in a slightly choked voice.
From the tip of my wand the immaculate white light appeared, taking my colleagues by surprise.
Bridget was having trouble casting her Patronus and so she was paying attention to me, seeing my situation she seemed worried, but when the light came from my wand she was lost in the scene.
The light that came from my wand took shape. My first time casting the Patronus was a Corporeal Patronus.
A long dragon formed from my wand and I could see its scales clearly. That was a sight I had seen many times, my Patronus had the same form as Long Sheng, the Patriarch of the Long Clan. My Patronus was a Five Clawed Golden Dragon.
"Very well Mr Mao, are you sure you have never studied this Spell before? If true, I believe you must be the only person to be able to produce a Corporeal Patronus on your first try." – Said Professor Lupine with clear surprise in his voice.
I smiled at him trying to hide how I really felt.
"Thank you teacher." – I said while trying to hide my face.
"Do you mind sharing the memory that led you to such an achievement?" – he asked.
"I'm afraid I won't do that Professor, it's something very personal." – I said in a firm tone.
He was surprised by my response, he expected me to help inspire my colleagues and my negative response made him feel embarrassed.
"I'm afraid our time is running out, you can continue practicing. This Spell has no effect on the world, only a Corporeal Patronus can affect the world and most of you will take a while." – he said while trying to hide his embarrassment.
Leaving the room, Bridget followed me, clearly curious.
When we were finally alone, I wrapped my arms around her waist, bringing her close to me for a moment.
She looked into my eyes with difficulty because she really wanted to know.
"My first marriage, Xue Hongyun, she died." – I said.
She lowered her head to my chest and hugged me tightly.
"Sorry." – she whispered.
I patted her back.
"You have nothing to apologize for." – I said in her ear.
I pulled her face up and kissed her.
That was the beginning of a beautiful moment between the two of us.
The kisses started innocently, but soon our tongues were intertwined. I tried to restrain my hands from going over the edge, but her body was too perfect for me not to explore.
I could feel her getting excited, but when my hand went to her ass she grabbed my wrist and lifted my hand back to her back.
"Are you having trouble finding a memory to use?" – I asked when our mouths came apart.
She was disheartened by my words.
"My happiest memories are of my childhood with my father, but now I am conflicted because of what he has done, he keeps sending me letters asking me to return home and complete my duty as heir." – she said with clear sadness in her voice.
I caressed her face trying to reassure her.
"I'll think of something if you really want to learn this Spell, but I'm not really sure it's very useful. It has an effect on the Dementors, but not much more than that." – I said without wanting to bring up the subject of her father.
I would protect her, but I should come directly between her and her family unless she asks me for help.
"I would like to know what my Patronus is, they say there is a good chance that your Animagus form is the same, which I doubt a little about yours. What exactly is your Patronus?" – she said, demonstrating her real reason.
"My Patronus is a Five Clawed Golden Dragon." – I replied.
"I've never heard of a Dragon like that." – she admitted.
"I doubt it has, this is the original form of the Dragon Clan Patriarch in the Supreme Realm. It's just a little bigger, by about four miles." – I explained laughing.
Her eyes widened for a moment.
"How?" – was all that came out of her mouth at that moment.
Having fun with her reaction I decided to continue teasing.
"In human form he is a little shorter than Hagrid, about 9"5'." – I said.
That was another surprise for her.
