Key: Sofu means Grandfather

He never thought this would happen, his grandfather died. He blamed it on his mom, which his mom hated his grandfather, but why? He was the nicest human being here! And she always told him what to do.

"Hey um, Yoshie? Something happened to your grandfather," That made his eye shot up, Yoshie looked at his mom either worry.

"What happened to him?" Yoshie yelled at his mother.

"Well he-" Yoshie didn't want her to finish. He had to his his Grandfather. So he ran out of the house hearing his mother behind him, "YOSHIE!"

After he ran out he was running fast, a bit too fast for anyone's liking. He finally reached his grandfather's house, at least it was far.

He ran into the house, "Sofu!" he found him in the seat and he looked at him.

"Yoshie— I have something to give you—" He said as he pulled out a necklace, It had some type of lighting streak on it. "Once you out this on something will happen to you, it will be good, and I will always stay young with you," His grandfather smiled, Yoshie quickly got the necklace and saved it by putting it in his pocket for later.

Then he could hear him breathing, "Sofu?!" He yelled, "No! SOFU! What's happening to you!" he cried tears as he looked at his Sofu, it appears he is now not breathing and he's, well gone. That gave him a thought when his Sofu said that he would always be with him when he had the necklace. he decided to put it on just as his mother walked in.

"NO! Yoshie why would you put that necklace on?" his mother asked, she seemed really mad.

"Because Sofu gave it to me?" He said with a weird face.

"IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MINE AFTER YOUR SOFU DIED!"

"Why then? Why did you not love him? Was it just for the necklace?" Yoshie growled, his mother looked back at him with a look.

"You're making no sense, Yoshie!" His mother replied.

"OH REALLY WHAT ABOUT THIS!" Yoshie yelled as he was lifted in the air, his hair floating up. His eyes that were once black became red. There were lighting streaks float around him as a bright light was floating with it too. His mom didn't understand what was going on.

"Was it the necklace?" she whispered then looked back up. Then she remembered that the necklace Made the ones you hate get stuck inside the necklace. "Oh god," she whispered again, looking back at her son. There was blood spewing from his mouth also. Good thing His brother wasn't here to see this.

Then a red smoke emitted from Yoshie, Then everything went black for Yoshie's mother.

What had happened apparently, is that the mother got stuck inside the lightning bolt necklace. And just like that, Yoshie was to normal. Then he remembered that his Sofu gave him a necklace, he smiled looking down.

He walked back to his house, where his brother had been. His brother ran to him. But for some reason, he couldn't hear the footsteps.

"YOSHIE! ARE YOU OKAY?!" Yoshie could see what his brother saying, so he nodded.

"I- I think I'm deaf," Yoshie replied. Ken, Yoshie's brother, looked confused.

"What? We need to go to the doctor to see!" Ken grabbed Yoshie's arm as they went to the doctor. And as Yoshie said, he had been Deaf, but all he could hear is his own voice, and nobody else's.

"Yoshie, where's mom?" Yoshie saw what he said. Yoshie thinks she might be in the necklace. So he pointed to the necklace he had. Ken looked confused. "What? Are you joking?" Yoshie shook his head. Yoshie looked down and pressed on the lightning bolt, a yellow smoke appeared. And there they saw a black ghost of his mom and a purple one of someone they don't recognize.

"Okay so mom is there but who is the young guy?" Ken asked.

"Hey!" The young guy waved back and fourth. "Well I'm your grandfather, but I'm— really young, see this is what I meant by I'm always with you, Yoshie," Yoshie just nodded.

"Wh- dad, why isn't Yoshie talking?" Rei, the mom said.

Yoshisada, Rei's father just replied with, "Well that's a thing I forgot to tell him before I died.. And also you're dead too," Yoshisada just smiled. Rei's eyes widened.

"WAIT I'M DEAD?!" she yelled. Yoshisada nodded.

"Well, when Yoshie activated the necklace, the red smoke that was emitted was supposed to decease every living thing. Also, Yoshie, You have lightning powers and they have smoke along with them." Rei groaned.

"Father! why couldn't I get the necklace?" Rei crossed her arms looking away.

Yoshisada just laughed, "Well for one you hated and you still do, two, Yoshie was perfect for inheriting the powers." Rei just continued to not look at Yoshisada.

Ken looked down. "Well what do I do now? Now that moms dead, dad just left! And it's just Yoshie and I." Yoshie just patted his shoulder.

"Well, I still have half a billion of dollars left in my safe. We could go get it."

Ken looked up, "Oh, okay, but could we sell the house also?" Yoshisada just nodded.

As soon as they walked to the safe, Yoshisada Cleared his throat. "Okay Ken, put in these numbers, 5120." Ken nodded and put the numbers in, and the safe opened, he took the money out. "You each can have half of them okay," Yoshisada smiled. Ken nodded giving Yoshie half of the stack, Yoshie looked up at his brother and smiled. "Also, I do want to say that your very rich aunt will be taking care of you guys now,"

"Wait, we have an aunt!?" They both said in unison. Yoshisada just smiled and nodded.

"Her number is on the fridge," He said floating toward the fridge. "It should say Maiko beside it."

Ken looked and finally found it, "Do I just call her?" Ken asked, Yoshisada nodded. Ken out the number in his phone and dialed it.

"Hello?" Some woman spoke, they assumed it would be Maiko, their aunt.

"Hi, this is Ken and Yoshie, your Nephews,"

"Oh! Hello darlings, what would you need?"

"Well, Your sister, our mom died and left a note saying that you should take care of us, if that isn't too hard?" Ken asked.

"Oh, yes of course, when and what time?" She replied.

"Um, you could come around your dads house tomorrow, maybe at 12 pm, we're selling the old house and finding a new one."

"Oh alright. I'm assuming you found the money in fathers safe?" She asked.

"Yeah, yeah." Ken could hear Maiko smile on the other side.

"Just know, I have five children also, so it'll be a full house. Maybe we could find something bigger."

"Uh, yeah sure, of course."

The call ended.

"Well she should be here by tomorrow, I'm assuming Sofu will let us stay in his room, right?" Yoshisada nodded.

"Well you two have some rest, and Yoshie," Yoshisada said, Yoshie looked at him. "If you want to unsummon us then click the lightning bolt again," Yoshie smiled and nodded. Ken said goodnight to Yoshie.
