6 The not so cold truth

"He is similar to what you call a typical male lead though, he always bugs me and does extremely unnecessary things that he knows I hate!" she rushed trying to finish the conversation quickly so she could avoid this topic.

"Now now darling don't get too flustered I just asked a question." he replied calmly. The room came to a sudden silence. "Well I need to get to my next meeting now, I hope to see you tomorrow morning then darling." he said breaking the silence.

"Ah yes well I better get going then." she mumbled as she made her way to the door. Click. The door swiftly shut as she pulled it shut. What had her life come to she thought, to have him as my boss I'm going to have a hard time. Another long sigh.

"Um excuse me miss?" a small and quiet voice broke her long train of thought "Can you move please?" she asked.

"Oh ah yes sorry." the words tumbled out of her mouth as she realised she had been standing in front of his office for what seemed quite some time.

She made her way back to the hotel while texting Cato to tell him that she had survived. As she unlocked her room and plopped herself on the bed a thought appeared in her head. She couldn't stay here forever could she? Time was ticking and her bank account was getting a bit (very) dry as the hotel room was expensive. Ahhhhh she needed to find a place to rent or maybe make an investment in a small apartment. She wasn't that low on money that she couldn't rent and this jobs pay was pretty juicy she thought.

After spending an unnecessary amount of time procrastinating on whether to buy or rent an apartment she decided to take a jump and buy an apartment.

Now here comes the hard part, house hunting. Preparing herself for what he'll was to come she took her laptop out and started searching for a small apartment near her workplace.
