2 Sitting in a hotel doing... nothing

Thinking. An activity that took way too long and too much energy. But for once she sat down and thought. What was she going to do from now? The amount of money in her bank was enough to keep her alive for, let's see... 1 month. Great. One month before I die she thought. Is a job really necessary? Who was she kidding, yes. Anything to stay away from him.

She let out another long sigh and plopped herself on the bed. The CV had been finished and sent to God knows how many jobs and all she could do now was wait. To sit and hope for the best. She hated that. She wanted to do something, something to take her mind off him. His face. His voice. Him.

She decided to go for a walk, she got up and stumbled to the door of the hotel, sliding her feet in her shoes. She laughed and thought 'I feel like I'm in a romance story, where I leave the man I hate after many years and looking for a job to be independent. Now all I need is for him to suddenly realise he loves me ha.'

After walking in the area around the hotel her feet had gotten sore. She had lost track of time as when she came back to her senses it was 7:37. It had been almost 9hrs since she left.

Back at the hotel she sat on her bed rubbing her saw feet. It was then that she received a text from no other person than him. Great she thought as she saw his name flash onto her screen. This man finally decides to see where I went to and he couldn't even be bothered to call. Thank god she left him she thought as she picked up her phone.

Pushing herself up from the bed she moved to plug her charger in. As if she'd answer. After all she wasn't those weak girls in those cliche stories.

When she woke up the next day she found an email. It was about a job. It congratulated her for getting an interview and following that was a paragraph on where and when it would be. How strange she thought. Getting an interview one day after sending in her CV was unusual, surely it took more than that, well she had never applied for any big job so maybe she just didn't understand.

Luckily she had brought her suit with her before she left knowing she needed to get a job. Taking it out from the suit case she sighed as she hung it up. Wow it had really sunk in now. She had gotten a job interview. A day after she sent her CV in! It's the furthest she had come by herself. What does she do? Staring at the suit a rush of worry flooded her mind. She had no experience except from her average university degrees. No one to support her except from her self. No she thought. Clothing her eyes she searched her mind, what should she do?

In any situation she needed advice she called her only trustworthy friend, Cato.
