6 Chapter 6 : Start

Okay all this information helps a lot. All this explains a lot too. As for now let's check out the second door. I will myself to the second door. And symbol on this one wasn't a Solomon's but a Spell Matrix.

I open the door and enter. All I see is a seemingly endless long corridor with a wall like the second door interchanging every second. And on my left side I see single frame with a Spell Matrix for fireball.

So, this is what Interface meant by I can store Spell Matrices. This eliminates the need to draw a Matrix in my head to cast a Spell. All I need to do is provide a sufficient mana and visualization. That makes casting a spell so much easier. More I understand, more I realize that I'm born to be a Wizard. So, I guess I will progress along that path then. But hard to do that without any more Spell Matrices.

So that means only way that I can get strong is to temper my brain and hope that I will get more useful traits.

Huh. Okay, enough reading and exploring my Soul Palace. For now, let's take a rest.

I wake up and its already bright outside. Still feels so comfortable sleeping here even without any bedding. Guess this is the so called, affinity with nature huh. Fortunately, I'm still not hungry or thirsty for now.

Something tells me that my first door is converting pure energy into vitality to keep me from going hungry or thirsty. So, I think that means this eliminates the need to drink or eat. Let's hope.

Now that's out of the way let's try to convert the pure energy into mana.

So how do I do that? Let's see take a deep breath and try to feel my surrounding. And there it is. Feels like being submerged in water but without the pressure. Don't know if it's because of the surrounding or because pure energy is like that it feels serene and calm and most of all full of life and vitality.

Now that I managed to feel the energy I can start absorbing it. Let's see in order to do that I need to visualize my soul as a vortex that is sucking the energy from my surroundings in to my very core of my being. Hmm it's not working damn it. What am I doing wrong? Let's try it again.

Feel the surrounding energy check then imagine my soul as a vortex that's sucking the energy around me check. Still not working. It seems I can't affect the energy around me for some reason. What is it. Is my visualization not strong enough? No that's not it.

Then if simple vortex is not enough I will visualize a black hole that will suck everything around me, if necessary. Let's see then if it will refuse to bend to my will.

Black hole's gravitational effects that nothing can escape from. I will my soul to become a black hole to suck every bit of energy around me. Yes, I can feel it forming the black hole, along with it comes the gravitational effects that is pulling every single energy around me into my soul's very core. I can feel it, my soul getting full.

Now that I managed to absorb the energy, next is converting it to mana. To do that I need to will the energy stored in my soul to go through filtering through my Soul Root. So how can I do that. Ultimately every process depends on my visualization. But is filtering really a right term. If I simply filter the energy it will only lose some properties not get converted into mana I think. So instead of filtering I think it should simply go through my soul and that will change the properties of the pure energy to mana.

So, let's try that. Will the energy to simply pass through my Soul Root? That's it. After passing through my Soul energy gets converted to mana. This mana stuff feels different. More in tune with my body and soul. Easier to manipulate.

Now that I got the mana how to store it in my brain and use it to nurture my brain cells. I suppose I need to will the mana to my brain first. And then what, how do I nurture my brain cells with it. It still depends on my visualization I suppose. So, first let's imagine my brain and then inject the mana to my brain then infuse my brain cells with it little by little.

Ooh I can feel it refreshing and cool feeling in my head. Very little but perceptible feeling of more clarity. So that's how I nurture my brain cells. Now that's out of the way how to store mana in my brain cells. Once again visualization, I suppose.

Mana exists in a steam like form initially. So, since it's almost impossible to store steam that means I need to keep it moving. That means I can visualize my brain as a pipe network that is used to transport steam.

If I use that picture I can both nurture and store mana in my brain cells. Let's try it. First my brain and neurons. Then electrical and chemical signals that is transmitting information. Imagine mana passing through my brain like those signals. Feels just like nurturing using my first image. Okay start is pretty good so far.
