59 Appendix: A Few Years Later

Days, months, years passed...

... The seasons slowly passed...

Time continued at its own pace unnoticed.

Strangers becoming acquaintances, and the new reality becoming an everyday reality.

Time spared no one, including me...

Years passed as if they were just a moment. What seemed to be only yesterday, today was just a memory... 

Did I miss the past?

Well... Yes and no.

Over time, I slowly calmed down, and most things ceased to interest me. Even more than before, I was as if cut off from the world around me.

Slowly, I don't even know when I began to appreciate the quiet moments. The possibility of just sitting in the sun and drinking coffee in the company with my sweet cat Hero was extremely pleasant for me. 

Frequent, small, and tender gestures of Samael and Leonard, to which I previously reacted with an action or some thought, became a pleasant time of comfort for me.
