5 Yield!

"Wait, wait, wait! Before you punch the living daylights out of me and completely cripple me, can't you be a bit more gentle?!"

She looked at me with the same dangerous glint in her eyes,

"I could definitely be more gentle. Though, it seems more fun this way!"

"Tch, well I won't be making it easy for you!"

"Just the way I like it!" She rushed immediately towards me.

I pulled out the Bow Of Alfheim as I immediately used my proudest aspect of my self, speed to get the hell out of there.

Rushing out of the building, I took a kilometer distance away from her. In order to run away much more effectively, I used a life-saving escape rune and crushed it to clearly have 50 kilometers distance between me and that monster.

She absorbs light essence therefore, there was no point in loading Light arrows into my bow hence, I settled for Dark essence arrows.

"Oh? I didn't know that you had connections to that thieving cat!"

"Well, everyone needs secrets, even ones to hide from their own psychopathic Goddess!"

"Who needs secrets when you can simply crush others with overwhelming power!" Wielding a ridiculously large hammer, the petite girl immediately closed the distance.

"I-n-s-u-b-o-r-d-i-n-a-t-i-o-n means death!" Alongside her momentum and incredible strength the weight of that force came crashing down on my poor old bow.

"Guh!"

I flew a couple hundred meters as she stood proud and dignified while putting her hammer over her shoulders.

"Were you trying to kill me?!"

"Bingo! That's the plan~"

Looking at my distraught bow, I could feel it screaming.

"Master! No way in heaven am I fighting her! Get me back inside your void dimension storage!"

Well, looking at a certain useless bow that couldn't even take a single beating I pitied it. As good as intelligent God artifacts are, in the end, it was just a bow that couldn't even be used as a shield.

"Are you mocking me?! Get Rudiria out here and take care of her!"

No way, that crazy sword? Sure people might call it a mighty holy sword and such, it still has Light attributes and instead of hurting her, it'd be like healing her instead you know?

I thought of a ridiculous motion of hitting the Goddess of Light and stabbing her but instead of taking damage, it would only heal her wounds. In the first place, this was only on the basis that she was even hurt.

Besides, Rudiria and her do not mix well like hot oil and water. In fact, she'd probably try and kill me harder.

"Oh? Discarding your bow already?" Her voice weighed heavily on my ears. It was threatening to tear me to pieces if I didn't wield another weapon.

"Crippling means regressing back into a mortal!" I shouted, trying to reason with a monster. "Furthermore, couldn't we just deal with this problem by descending?" Pleading, I looked at her directly.

"Nah, it would mean that we would be interfering with the mortals and that was b-a-n-n-e-d in the last meeting conference."

What was this? Don't tell me you Gods and Goddesses discuss what should happen with the World in business like meetings. Well I already knew but I've never been to one. I can imagine her just sitting with immense boredom and munching on something sweet. While she was the strongest, she wasn't highly intelligent.

"Haaaaah? I swear to myself that you did not just think of something demeaning to me!"

Though that didn't mean her instincts and anything else was sub-par.

Where were the other Champions? I'm sure this much of a ruckus would cause the others to help me calm her down.

Formations and light could be seen, evident on her palm as she blasted concentrated Light particles towards me.

These Light particles were no ordinary light rays, they were...

Boom!

Several particles exploded beside me as I tucked my hands in and covered my head, using the smoke as cover.

"Hey, hey, hey! Don't run away!"

A figure could be seen running away far from her. At the same time, I used concealment and bending light rays to sneak up on her.

"An illusion realistic enough to fool me? Well done, to think you've reached this level!"

Materializing pure dark essence as a weapon, I shaped it into a short extremely concentrated dagger and took a stab at her.

"Despite being a Light Champion, you've retained essence of other Paths and are still capable of wielding them! You don't even need the blessing of others to wield them. As if you never belonged to this world and aren't bound by rules!"

Sweating profusely, I immediately stopped and took a couple meters away from her.

At the same time, the area around her become concentrated in extremely pure Light and anything caught within it would be incinerated.

As a Champion of the same essence, I only had extreme resistance and resilience of Light, that didn't mean I wouldn't be hurt by it. This pure Light was concentrated enough to shred me apart, as expected of the Goddess. If the boss didn't have the capability to order around his minions, they'd probably rebel.

"Yield and be crushed! Or don't yield and I'll crush your manly-hood!"

"I'd prefer neither, wait aren't those the same things? And doesn't the first option sound worse than the other?"
