2 Chapter 2

Days were passing in complete leisure. It wasnt like he had much to do. He was a baby afterall.

But he had to ocassionlly smile and pretend to play when the grownups talked to him.

He still couldn't understand proper speech but began to grasp several keywords which included food, water, potty and several other overly used words.

Worst thing was that he had to cry in order to be fed. Why cant he just grab his own meal or ask for it directly. Oh yeah, his vocal chords still weren't properly developed. He couldn't form words even if he wanted to.

Being fed like a baby had his own perks no doubt. His mother's embrace was one of them. It wasnt that he didnt have a mother in his previous life , but like most people he too grew a little distant from his mother as he grew up.

So this closeness once again brought up memories from his childhood which was rather pleasant for Aaron.

He spent his days thinking a lot about his previous life. Given an option he would want to live a similar life this time around as well. A simple easy going life.

He didnt mind the occasional adventurous stuff, but he was nowhere close to being an adrenaline junkie. He was rather curious to know what the future had in stall for him.

As Aaron grew up to be 3 years old. He had enough grasp on the language to hold conversation with other people.

People regarded him as a talented and disciplined child because of his speech pattern and his behaviour. He was a grownup at heart after all. It wasnt like he found the childlike shenanigans to be a lot of fun.

He was more interested in knowing the world around him since he knew this world had magic. Although the only person he ever saw doing magic was the person holding him when he was born.

Turns out he was a person brought by his father to make sure he was born healthy since there were some complications regarding his birth. Was that that a coincidence with his reincarnation?

He studied his surroundings as much as he could. This world had no electricty. It had oil lamps for lighting. The house was a decent enough structure. Built from some kind of brick or stones. He couldnt be sure. The roof was made of some kind of tiles. It didnt leak even during heavy rains. It meant the world wasnt too primitive. The clothes were a bit coarse, not too fine and the fashion sense seemed to a bit... oh well.

"Aaron, come with mumma. We are going to meet your teacher. You are already old enough to start your education. You have to grow up to be smart and educated person."

His mothers pleasant voice woke him up from his day dreaming.

This place didnt have the concept of primary schools. People who could afford brought in private tutors.

"Yes mother. I will study hard."

"Come, hurry up. You know your father hates to wait"

He followed his mother to meet his father. His father was an average looking man. With black hair and a clean face. He looked rather young.

"Aaron meet Mr. Anderson. He will be your teacher for your education."

"Good morning Mr. Anderson."

"Good child. Looks like you were right Mike, he sounds like a gifted child. He sounds much more matured than his age."

Hearing that Mike's, his fathers chest seemed to swell.

"Haha. He is my son afterall. "

Directing his eyes towards Aaron, he said "Aaron, make sure you study well. Your father had to make a lot of requests to Mr Anderson for him to agree to teach you."

"Yes father. I will. "

"Okay, I will leave you under Mr. Anderson's care now."

As Aaron saw his father and mother leave, he knew this was the first big change in his new life. The things he wanted to know and learn about this world were at an arms distance now. And maybe, just maybe he could be a mage.

Now that was something even a modern day person from earth would be interested in. Well lets see what Mr Anderson teaches me.

As he turned towards Anderson, he saw he a was man who looked like he just passed his prime. Hairs started turning grey. He had a beard with streaks of grey as well. He looked rather confident and had a scholarly aura about him. Like he knew things which others didn't. He found that he was studying him the same way he was studying Mr. Anderson.

"Come, let's start"said Anderson finally.
