The Accident... Zhou Mei

The hospital light is so bright but Jay France is like a dark shadow in the middle of the emergency room the woman he loves was being rolled in the hospital stretcher to go to the operating room. He was covered in blood after witnessing her in a car accident. It was supposed to be a surprise that he was going to make a love confessions to her but she run away with a suspicious man from the hotel, while he tried to chase her to know if she's alright when the sudden lights shine in front of him Mei was hit by a speeding car and her body floats in the air while the car speeds away leaving the scene.

HOSPITAL.

Terrified on the event. "It was meant to be me!", "I was the one who made her like this". Jay's red hands were trembling the blood from Zhou Mei was well painted on his big hands.

the clock outside the wall of the operating room says its been 5 hours and the operation sign in progress is still lighted the man standing outside these 2 leaf green door. He was pale and looked like he lost all the happiness in the world.

An old man and his wife were hurriedly running and panting as they reach the green door of the operating room. Jay's mom was not surprised seeing his son standing like a guard there. She reached her hands and gently pat them with her wrinkled hands. The old man tap his shoulders and thought he was panicked hearing the news of the accident his composure return to him as he saw the wrecked mess his son was in.

A nurse came running out to the green door when the young man held her in the elbow she was frantically in a hurry so she brushed his hands. "I'm in a hurry sir every minute right now is important, the doctors are doing their best to save the patient!. By the way are any of you are +RH AB blood type. All 3 of them shakes their head and the nurse instructed some people Jay was still very worried as he swallowed his words and his eyes follows inside the green door as another 2 more doctors was running to go inside with bags of types of blood for the operation.

Shaun France bit his lowered lip as he tries to calm himself his eyes are red but he need to stay stronger. But he seems to have aged from the sudden news and his knees have gotten weaker.

Karen holds her husband's arms to guide him to a seat, she was afraid of what would happen to these two-man in her life. She was crying in the car on the way to the hospital but her tears stopped as she saw her son's state of mess. Zhou Mei is like a daughter to her and She has a soft heart for her, like a real daughter even her heartache. She is silently praying for her daughter's safety and that she will be out of danger as the doctors are doing their best.

7 hours later...

The operating surgeon came out from the operating room as he open the green door all the three people in there was instantly in front of him. He takes a deep breath and looked at the older man and woman in the eyes who seem to be her patient's father and mother. His eyes turned to the young man whose clothes still soaked in blood from the accident.

"Are you Ms. Zhou Mei, guardians?. I am the head doctor of her operation doctor Lui Charles (the doctor removed his mask on his face and talk to the patient's guardians). She has received some serious head injuries, skull fractures and lacerations that need to perform surgical emergency also have 5 upper rib fractures, bruises all over her body due to car accident".

"It's a successful operation but she had lost too much blood from the accident and your daughter has a rare case of blood type, she has a rare +RH AB blood type. We all did our best for her operation. She'll be transferred to the ICU and you'll be able to see her there".

Shaun knew after hearing her daughter's blood type he knew the pain in his heart made it even bitter and sour knowing the truth of her daughter's real father is not him. He still loves Mei and there's no doubt about it, she is still and will always be her daughter.

" I would like you to follow me in my office to give you more details".

The old couple followed the doctor while listening to the details of her daughter's accident and operation. Shaun is distraught but he calms himself as his wife holds his hands and squeezes it reassuring him that he wasn't alone.

The three seated in a white consultation room that all are in white except the office table. The doctor continued and explain the surgery, complications and further operations that the family have to know and understand.

In a private hospital ward in the ICU Jay is looking at the woman laying down on top of the hospital bed, he was holding his mouth with one hand afraid to let the woman asleep hears his cries as he can help to whimper seeing her sorry state. He reached out and hold her hand with his free hand to touched and feel her pale-colored hand as if the blood on its vein were drained in the accident.

A girl in oxygen with her head, arms and legs are wrapped with white clothe, she is bruised all over and in just almost a day she seems to have lost color and her face sunken from the trauma of her accident.
