Show up at the Court

A few days later, Gu Xin Ye left her apartment with sunglasses and a mask to cover her face.

Lin Qiao came to pick her up and took her to the court.

He Shen's trial will begin soon. Gu Xin Ye had to show up at the court to give her a statement. As the victim, she was called to the court earlier as she had requested not to run into He Shen or Miss Li Yan.

Gu Xin Ye would get scared each time she thought about what happened that night. He Shen and Li Yan traumatized her.

Fortunately, it did take Gu Xin Ye a long time to give her statement. 

Once her part was done, Gu Xin Ye left the courtroom and walked over to Lin Qiao. Her lips pursed into a thin line as she saw that Lin Qiao was talking to Wang Zhi Wei.

Their conversation halted when they noticed Gu Xin Ye coming over.

Lin Qiao smiled. "Xin Ye, good job."

"Mhm..." Gu Xin Ye shifted her gaze to Wang Zhi Wei who she had not seen since she was discharged from the hospital.
