As he heard that Orion's mind was spinning as he tried to come to terms with everything that he was told.

The last thing he remembered was being stabbed by a thug after trying to stop him from robbing a woman followed by him bleeding out on the floor.

Now he's in what he can only assume is the afterlife but instead of the pearly gates and eternal bliss he was surrounded by absolutely nothing.

He didn't even have a body anymore, he was floating as a silver ball of light and he couldn't see who was talking to him only hear the voice ringing in his mind.

Despite the unique circumstances, he was excited by the prospects of being reborn into the world of one piece. In his previous life he was an extreme sportsman who was always chasing a thrill but could never find it. Despite spending his days jumping out of planes or free climbing mountains the most exciting thing he did was read manga and watch anime.

He pushed all distracting thoughts to one side as he focused on the task at hand.

"That fruit must be the devil fruit you need to swallow to be able to have 2 devil fruits."

"I have just one more question. Will I keep all my memories from my previous life?"

"No, your soul will be stripped of all memories from your previous life."

"Then how will I remember what my gifts are and how to use them."
