Vacation!

"Alexios! Wake up!" My dad barged into my room. That's strange, as he's almost always at work. "Huh?" I sat up, disgruntled from the rude awakenings."Get packing, we have a week of vacation!" He said to me. I, still half-asleep, got out of bed to gather up my necessities.

After gathering my clothes, some snacks, and my phone, I walked downstairs to see my mom packing too. She was completely sober, and looked excited. I smiled, as mom was almost always sulking and drunk. After about half an hour, we loaded up into my dad's van and headed towards Montauk for our vacation. On our way there, we drove past a Camaro(Wink wink nudge nudge). Once we made it to Montauk, we could hear a roar in the distance, but paid it no mind.

After we got set up in one of the cabins, I decided to go check out the forest. I walked for a while, and finally encountered a large barrier that was pulsing with strange blue power. I pressed it, and it resisted at first, but gave way and let me pass through. I continued walking and found the edge of the forest. I peeked out of the forest and found, surprisingly, a summer camp. But this camp was strange, as there were people having sword fights, people using strange plant magic or something, and even strange greenish people waking In and out of trees. I cautiously walked towards the big house in the center, and knocked on the door, which opened up to reveal a centaur and a dude who looked like he wanted alcohol. The centaur looked at me strangely, as if curious. "What's your name, boy?" He asked. "Alexios, sir" I replied, almost stuttering."Greek name" the centaur mumbled, thinking I wouldn't hear him. "I don't remember you being in this camp." He sounded slightly suspicious. "That's what I'm here to ask about. What is this camp, and what's with these strange people?" I asked, slightly resting the bounds of what I could ask."Well, dear child, if you're new here, could you tell me which satyr brought you?" He asked, no longer very suspicious. I replied "No one brought me here, I just felt a desire to come, and found this place" I was only 14, in my first year of high school, so I could still act decently innocent. The centaur looked shocked, as if this never happened before, then calmed back down."I can't be here long though, my parents are just through the forest at Montauk." I told him. "It will be fine, we can use the Mist to make them think you were never gone." He told me. Looks like things are gonna get interesting very soon. "If that's the case, can you show me around, this place looks interesting" I asked. "I cannot, but I know someone who can. Annabeth, can you show him around, please" a girl about 12-13 years old walked in. I could see a slight blush on her face from looking at me. Guess the appearance stat really works."Hello, my name is Annabeth Chase, what's yours?" "Alexios Deimos, and nice to meet you , Annabeth" I flashed a smile, which unbeknownst to me, would make girls blush like crazy because of the enhanced appearance. She immediately blushed crimson"Nice to meet you too, follow me"

She showed me around camp, and there was an arena, a group of cabins, and many other interesting places. She brought me to a cabin that looked like it was packed."Welcome to the Hermès cabin, your cabin for now until you get claimed." "But my parents are literally through the forest at Montauk" I replied. Then she asked me"Do you have dyslexia, probably ADHD too?"

"No"

"Well still, you got in, that means you're most likely a demigod, and since you know, monsters will cone after you"

"I kinda doubt that"

She looked exasperated, and told me"Remember this cabin, it'll be your home for a while". "Fine" I Replied. Then a bell sounded"Looks like its time for lunch, we got another new demigod earlier today, and I'm sure you'll hit it off great" . We walked towards the eating area, whatever they said it was called, but on the way, a group of very wet, very angry teenagers walked up to me."Another newbie, in one day?" The big girl in the middle looked like she wanted to tear me apart. She reached for my arm to drag me along, but I simply threw her off and kept walking, as she was rather weak to me.

We arrived at the eating area, and introduced me to a kid around 12 years old"Meet Percy, and Percy, Meet Alexios."

"Hey" I told him

"Hello"

"Can I have your steak?" He asked

"Sure"

Seems like we hit it off well.

After the meal, the centaur, apparently named Chiron, told us"Today we have capture the flag, you know the rules. No maiming, prisoners may be bound but not gagged, and no killing. So go prepare, we start in an hour."

I followed Annabeth to go get some equipment, as she said she wanted me on her team. She got me a sword about 3.5 feet long, and armor for my upper half.

She told me and Percy to stand guard at the creek. "Hey Percy, since nothing's probably gonna happen, wanna spar?" I asked him. He shrugged and went along with him. Percy threw a slice at my right arm before I partied it with my sword. I pushed his sword back and got a nick with my sword on his left hand. As I pulled my sword back to guard, a drop of blood hit my hand and was absorbed.

It was kind of disgusting I could get his skin, hair or bones, so I chose abilities. I didn't feel anything at first, but soon felt a connection to the ocean.

Percy threw a slice that brought me back into battle, but as I blocked, the group of Ares kids(Annabeth told me) from earlier appeared out of the forest. "Why aren't you getting the flag?" Me and Percy asked simultaneously."Do you think we care about the flag? We just want revenge for our cabin!" They yelled at us as they charged I moved back to get my bearings, but Percy got cut a few times, before falling into the creek and going badass on them. Guess I know one of the abilities I got. Before he finished al of them, I rushed in and knocked two out with my hilt, before rushing back. After that, Luke, captain of Hermès cabin, ran through with their flag and one the game.

After we were all checked for injuries, two huge dogs ran at me and Percy, but Chiron shot them with arrows before they could kill us. Even though they didn't kill us, they scratched us open horribly. Annabeth told Percy "Quick get in the water!" He obeyed, and I copied him, as I had his abilities.

The injuries healed as water flowed through them, and once we were healed, Chiron spoke."Hail Alexios Deimos and Perseus Jackson, Sons of Poseidon"

Poseidon was about to claim Percy, but he felt his power in Alexios as well. He was curious, but since he couldn't remember, decided that he just did it while he was drunk, and claimed both of them.
