Also, I had started going to school and almost all of my class there had some quirk, only I did not, this caused some children to exclude me from some games or to find me strange. It hardly affected my mood, as I didn't really want to play with these kids, but the lack of my quirk left me a little bit down.

My mother realized my situation, whenever I came back from school I was a little quiet, it made her think that something was wrong with me. As she observed my actions and added to her knowledge of me, she started to think that I felt out of place at school, since I was the only one in the classroom who didn't have a quirk.

Knowing what I was going through at school and probably would continue to suffer in the future, she tried to cheer me up in many ways, one of which was making food that I like, I liked that and tried to mask my disappointment a little when I got home.

But nothing escaped my mother's eyes, any sign of sadness was perceived, it kept her trying to please me until it reached the point where she tried to make me feel hope and look forward to the future.

"Gael, don't worry about it so much, in the future you will definitely have a powerful quirk and become a great hero!" that's what she told me on one of my birthdays, plus she had also made me a chocolate cake.
