Chapter 0: Prologue

Life… What about life? Countless wise persons across the eons sought for the meaning of life.

Individuals gave their own meaning of life but alas, this perspective of an individual doesn't share to another person.

Contradictions to their own truths manifested and slowly cripple oneself through the hideous heart demon...

And people fought each other for the one and only truth. They call their truth, the one and only, and none other.

Since the beginning, people sought for the truth. Their hearts will terribly itch and won't calm down without quelling their curiosity.

"Why am I born in this world?"

"What is my purpose? What is there for me in this world?"

…

We create false truths to fool ourselves that we know the truth about our existence, our life.

"I was born to love you. To protect our family and live a happy life."

…

"I was born to be the emperor. To rule over the lands and conquer all!"

…

What a way to think that you are in control...

But everyone knows that there is nothing we can do but give ourselves a reason to live.

The wriggling demon inside of us won't let us escape the desire to do all we can to do anything just to live a meaningful life.

Greed… Lust… Wrath… Pride… Sloth… Envy… Gluttony…

The seven deadly parasites that satisfy our mortal flesh and slowly burn us to death…

Temptation is the start of infestation of these worms...

Slowly devouring our conscience without shred of sympathy…

After doing everything just to reach that ray of light that shines with intense hope and salvation,

Kicking down the people out of the thin spider web to get out of this Hell,

Slaughtering every one that stands in the way,

Reaching the end just to feel empty…

That the truth was actually just the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow…

Life at the end is actually just the same before the creation of life.

That is...

Emptyness…
