And on the field, 6 sets of teams were fighting among themselves in their hybrid forms.

The first team was Jackson against Min, they were at it with full might. Jackson was all hybrid, sharp claws and teeth setting against the green haired man, while Min was still not totally hybrid, he only had claws to fight with... and he was winning it seems, more like training Jackson with well-set fists.

BaBam on the other hand was set against a blond guy whose face I couldn't see. The blond guy wasn't kidding with his kicks and punches but he was reluctant to fully damage his opponent. His fighting style kind of mirrored ToTo's, I knew that because I had trained with him. But I couldn't be sure.

So moving on next I saw Jae, who was still wearing a black hat. And he was set against... Razur?

That made me double take. Did Razur escape with us?

And even if he did, why did he settle here, didn't he have a mate to go back to?

Maybe he was just recuperating, but I was happy to see him, he had protected me and sympathized with me when I was in pain, only because of it did I considered him worthy of being here. And looking at his well-placed moves, I knew he was a great warrior. He was holding back his fists to let Jae heal, and I knew it was only because he was a sigma, or else the kindness would have not been there for anyone else.

For a sigma, fighting against other bigger classes was a problem, it could even lead to grave injuries or death at times. I hoped Jae could overcome it, he deserved to be called a good warrior. I was in good mood so praising one of two people wasn't beyond my abilities.

I don't know why I was happy to see them all, when we weren't even close. I also did not want to see them injured, and that was enough to make me question myself. What had changed, I wasn't this concerned about anyone before.

Ah yes, it was the sudden boom of emotions in me talking, I had become more receptive to them since I had met Michi. That guy was turning my world upside down without even knowing. Hehe... I chuckled to myself.

I noticed Mak was fighting against a red haired man and unlike all he was actually gaining a better hold. Wow. It was an impressive feat since just by looking at the red haired guy I knew he was a beta with great strength, one not to be underestimated.

Next to them Yuga was fighting against another tall blond man with broad shoulders, and since each of these strangers were facing away, I couldn't tell who they were, not that I could, since everyone I met was a stranger to me at first.

I noticed only Jinyo and Jay were together, putting in their all against each other. Their flow of fight impressive, the claws matching and the kicks flying, only the pace a little slower than the rest, but other than that everything was good enough.

"They sure are going at it," I mumbled to myself and it caused a shift between Jae and Razur, since Razur heard me, and asked something from his partner, maybe something close to 'Take a little rest.'

Then he turned to me and finger gestured me to fight against him.

I smirked, noticing how the other teams also started to turn towards me to see what the cause was.

Taking the chance I got, I rushed towards Razur with my fastest speed, blurring past the stairs, ready to throw a punch at him and test my strength, but something solid launched at me midway, forcing me to stumble back with the collision.

...what?

I balanced myself well while holding onto some heavy blond guy who just hugged me out of nowhere, it was annoying how he reached me so easily when I had made sure to use my fastest speed.

"JeonJa~"

Well that sounded familiar... the deep voice with childish intones. There was only one person who spoke my name like that...To To?

I looked down at the blond guy's face and sure enough he was Toga. The beta male with the beta mate Jungaba, Hoba for short.

A giant smile spread on my face for the first time in years, and before long I was laughing with him. He was still the same, same blond hair, golden gaze and a beautiful persona. I loved him like my own brother, he was the first person to ever show compassion to me.

"Toto!!" I grinned, hugging him back, forgetting that there were other people around watching. "You still look so young!"

He chimed in a pretty chuckle, a rough boxy smile carving on to his face as he showed me the V sign, "Ma alpha leader is a Genero, so I age slow."

Oh?

"Damn, that is lucky, who is your alpha leader anyway? You never told me."

He turned around pointing at Razur and I was left aghast by the sudden revelation. What?

"He is your pack's alpha?" I asked with shock, watching the expression of everyone. Specially of Min's and Razur's. But it was a short observation since I noticed Hoba and Jiner in distance, so without wasting time I ran and hugged them, since they were both standing close to each other, watching me with pride.

It made me emotional, seeing their faces, they were my best playmates when I was training under them for a week. Hoba was a ball of sunshine and Jiner was goofy with his old man's antics. They complimented well with me and always cheered me up when Toto ended up beating me too badly during sessions.

"We are meeting after so long," Hoba muttered, patting my back with affection as I was still hugging him. I nodded in the hug, Jiner also by my side trying to pat my head.

"He has become handsome hasn't he," Jiner asked Hoba, "But I am still the most handsome he can't beat me there."

I heard laughter around us and finally broke away from the small hug, taking my time to settle my happiness. Yes, they had left me after a week was over, just like decided, but that one week was the best part of my sad little life, of course not as good as when my family was alive, but they tried to fill that spot for me.

And within a week they taught me wonders, something I could never forget. They were the ones who first made me turn by the end of the day, I don't know how I grew up so much with them in such a short period of time, but their knowledge on herbs, spells, fight, made me what I was today.

"I was searching for you all before I met Jackson."

Jackson came to stand close as nodded, "Yes I did hear he was looking for someone in our territory besides me, but we never got the detail of it."

His pack nodded along him, while Min and Razur stayed quiet, letting me, Toto, hoba and Jiner have our moment.

"So I have a lot to ask, but I think it will be best if you all told me on your own." I absently noticed that Jiner went back to Razur and held his hands, it made me wonder if he was his mate.

It was Min who cleared his throat, indicating he would like to speak. "Our leader is Razur, he told me you both are already familiar with each other."

I nodded, I remembered how protective he was of me as he scented me to keep discretion, talked with me to give me hope and accompanied me through a rough period.

"Razur is also affiliated with the council, if you want to participate, he will get you in without any intensive work." Min looked kind of proud to be stating that. "I am the sub alpha, and as you have heard, sub alphas are a mix of beta and alpha, so I am that."

I nodded and he continued, pointing his finger at Toto, "He is out first beta, the second is Jungaba, and the third is Jiner."

"I am surprised you don't have any gamma in your group."

I noticed Yuga laughing at me after hearing my question and I was about to rudely ask him why, but Jinyo cut me off, "It seems you don't know but packs like Razur's, they don't need gammas or the rest of them, they lead other packs who are weaker than them in strength instead."

"I have heard of it," I mused, "but rarely have I ever seen such packs."

Mak sighed, and went to stand next to Toto, keeping his arms around him in a friendly manner, "Brother Toga, please explain this idiot why you all are so different, you know him somehow yet he doesn't really knows you."

Toto chuckled, looking at Min who was just standing in the middle with a poker face, deep in thought. "Brother Maunir, please continue."

Min sighed, looking quite bored, "Nothing much to explain to you, just know that we are a strong pack, and we will help you out, and Jackson and the rest come under our branch, so... don't hurt them again."

"Wait wait wait," I hurried, staring at Min and then the main one who had been in disguise, Razur. "You are saying that you lead Jackson's pack?"
