2 CHAPTER 2: THE THIRD

The following morning Nelson left his house for sam's so that they can both go to the library opening exhibition ,but sam was still thinking of what to wear and she looked puzzled then she screamed out Nelson's name and he answered shouting Yes while running from the sitting room to her room,then she asked him which outfit he thinks looks better on her; Cobalt blue or Royal blue? Then he said that he'll go with Cobalt blue, But, sam said that Royal blue makes her look royally flashy, then he told her to go for royal blue and she agreed.

Sam dressed up but delayed Neil till she was eventually done and they got to the venue two minutes earlier than the expected time. Then she told him that why be so punctual? he then said cos' punctuality is the key to fame so I have to be punctual adjusting his blue suit.

Well not in the celebrity world,we celebs have to be late so our fans will expect us the more. Whatever, Nelson told her. The two walked towards the front of the library with hands locked like a couple in starshine.

On getting to the front of the library a girl beat them to the queue. Shit,the girl over there beat me to the line, Nelson said. She's such a nerd like you, how can she be the first in line. Don't bother. No I will then Sam approached the girl and told her to move, then the girl "Marissa" confronted her telling her that why should she move? But Sam refused to answer her and told her that, duh!! cos' I wanna stay there ,In sam little mind she couldn't believe she was doing that to a nerd, that Nelson owes her big time.Right about then Nelson interrupted and told Marissa that he's sorry that his friend Sam has lost her manners, then he introduced himself as Nelson and asked her for her name and she said Marissa.

Then they went into a long conversation which seemed so boring to sam, eventually he asked her for her home address cos' he doubted if he had seen face in any california street before. Then she told him that she's new in that area that she started living at number 5, Vermont avenue with her aunt after her parents died in a plane crash and the place is somewhat unbearable. My condolences Nelson said to her, right then sam interrupted and said that she has been standing in that spot for over seven minutes that if he's not attending the library opening exhibition

and there's nothing else to say, she's out of there. Then Nelson told her that if she stayed a little bit the food section will soon open

but she said nothing will change her mind; then Nelson said that there will there be ribs and she turned running down the library hallway. Nelson and Marissa continued their conversation and during then Nelson thought that she was very pretty while she thought he was weird, after the long conversations he invited her over for dinner at his place, Number 7,Beverly boulevard street that night,then she said that all these is happening so fast ,the he said he knows,then she told him that she's gonna be there.

The library opening program was slow so sam spent it sleeping and eating, At the closing

Sam said that it was boring, why did I even bother coming? well I don't regret,the rib sauce was sticky and sweet. Anyways why don't you come over for dinner at my place tonight? Nelson told Sam. You know as far as it involves food I'll be there, Okay see you soon byee. After that sam dips hand in in Nelson's back pocket and brings out $5000 then told him that she'll manage it. He told her that it is his transport fare but she didn't care and she left.

After she left he took a long a mind weakening stroll home.

Marissa came 8pm sharp for the dinner invitation, when Nelson wanted to start cooking so he forgot to cook while keeping Marissa company. Then moment later sam arrived and met the both of them talking and asked who invited a dork to the dinner, well she didn't care much she just went straight towards the kitchen.Oooh Ohh Nelson said cos'he hadn't prepared food, Nelson!!!! are you crazy where's the food? sam screamed OH! I'm sorry, when Risa came I had to keep her company. OH I'm sorry,even our host for this crazy dinner is crazy, what dinner without food? Now go get cooking. On it,Risa will you help ? Sure i'ld love to, Sam looks at Risa with a strange face, well I hope you have some chips, she goes to the fridge and takes the following things : chips , soda and corndogs; I hope this will sustain me she said then she sits on the couch and grabs the remote.

(three hours later)

Food is ready Nelson shouted while ringing a mini bell, Finally, what took you so long? Sam said.Nelson I got to go, my aunt will be waiting, not without eating, then I'll have it to go, said sam. Not you sam it's Marissa, oh sam exclaimed, I'll get it to go then, my words Sam told Marissa, awwag, I'll miss you they hugged and Marissa left for her place, Don't you think she's cute? Nelson said. Kinda, but I hope you don't have a crush on her, thinking about something Nelson did not hear, then sam shouted his name and he answered saying yes,yes,yes but later said no when he realized her question ;no,no, I don't have a crush on her,I just think she's pretty, well it's 12 midnight, why don't you spend the night?

Sam: you don't think I'm gonna go down that scary walkway and get eaten by wolves and zombies, you don't have to tell me what to do ,by the way I'm taking the master bedroom, I take permission from nobody. Not so surprised ,"Neil tells himself".

Right then the power came on , the power's back on baby, it's almost time for the midnight talent show, Nelson be a good boy and pass me the remote, he gave her the remote and she changed it to the channel where the midnight celebrity show took place the she screamed happily,"who hoo". Nelson watched in amazement then said be my guest, and they both sat and watched till they dozed of on the couch ,then Nelson later woke up and he woke sam to go to her bed . Sam was sleep talking and she said," before you go make sure you make my breakfast early....."

Nelson answered Okay; I wonder what Risa meant when she said her aunt's place is unbearable, whatever, I have to make a shopping list of what I want to buy in the mall mart tomorrow.

Then he tears a sheet of paper and takes a ballpoint ink pen then writes the following :tomato,chips,chicken,oil, hotdogs, pringles, cauliflower, cabbage,carrot, juice,cake ingredients,some books. Now I'm done,maybe I can now have a goodnight sleep? He goes to the room lies down on his bed to sleep then hears sam snoring all the way from her room, I take back my words I'm not sure if I can have a goodnight sleep.

The next morning Nelson, Marissa and Sam went to Gilroy garden amusement park to have some fun while they were lost in the fun they were about to enter anther ride when they found a small rectangular box with spiral designs and polkadot then they took the box to Nelson's place to figure out what the box was.
