6 magical Harry!

The following year was all but entertaining for Harry, and he was to blame for this. While Lily knows that her child was far more intelligent than he had any right to be at this age, she didn't think that he was smart enough to understand her, after all, what kind of baby was able to understand everyday speech without any point of reference?

But Harry was all safe an average child, and in her grief, Lily had confided to her son the origin of them. He didn't know if the thing were canon or not, but it was clear that the moment he made her aware of the existence of potion in her bloodstream, something changed, dramatically.

For all he knows, James was his usual self, Sirius was utterly different from what his future him would be after more than a decade in Azkaban, so he was out. Remus was as pitiable that the Hogwarts time, only more happy to be with his friends. Peter wasn't the self-pitying, back-stabbing bastard yet, be he was more than dodgy even now.

He had briefly encounter Dumbledore, and the man wasn't different from the man he had to learn to know through the book. While he was a cheerful and lovable Grandfather-like man, it was evident for those looking at him from a little distance, that he was the type to play with others while hiding his cards.

Harry had to be extremely careful around him. Should he show any hit of stellar intelligence, he wouldn't but above the man to try and read him.

~~~
Growing with James Potter after showing hostility to the man hadn't been his best move, but between alienating the man to protect Lily and let him act, he hadn't need to think twice.
His relation with Lily was another thing. His stay in the space had changed him, while he possesses a human body, his psyche was far from one. After having been hearing the woman pour her heart out, and doing what he was capable of doing, he knows that he couldn't see her as his mother.
It was not the fact that he had a strand of memories describing her as a fictional character, no. He knows that she was as real as anything and anyone, as far as he could tell. All could be boiled down to their blood. He could feel the intuitive connection between them, far more profound than the link of flesh. They were kins of similar ascendance, and with all this time in the void had shaped him differently.
He was male, her female. She was distressed, and he was able to bring support. They were kins, and for him, it was all that matter. He would protect her, his not physically, then mentally, and would continue to do so until she didn't need him anymore.
If he was able to help her survive the ordeal that would soon befall on them, then they will be together.
The actual problem he was facing was that he had near no power on his on barely any influence on his bloodline. Until now, and from what he was able to gather from Lily, he was more developed than an average 18-month child.
He was agile enough to step on his own, if somewhat slowly, steadily. His denture was complete, more than half a year early, nearly 90 cm tall, 10 cm more than the norm and weight 13 Kg.
He was also able to speak a few words, but never in front of someone else other than Lily. He didn't try to access magic, for the simple reason that it would grow restless and trigger accidental magic. He was too early for him to touch it, so he leaves it alone instead than doing something had had that would have dire consequence in the future.
~~~

If there was a thing that he learns living with the Potter entourage was emotional control. With a man child like Sirius, who's exuberant mentality was the polar opposite of his own, having a silver of control of emotion was a survival skill.

The first time Harry had encounter Sirius was a few months after the Potter's were allowed guests again, even if restricted. Its was only due to James, who would drag them all to the pub at every single occasion to 'catch up with the lost time'. Harry hadn't missed the lack of father figure; he was mature enough to be perfectly fine without one.

Three months before he turned one, the group was finally passing its first time in the house. Everything was relatively normal. James was his drunken-self, never too far from his bottle of Firewhiskey, rembling to peter who was too cowardly to move, thus listening, even if he wanted to be far from the drunk if he could trust the man gaze swift every few seconds.

Remus was disturbingly too close to Lily, unconsciously prowling around her and making her jittery, and eyeing her potion knife regretfully to far, on the coffee table.

This was at this moment, his gaze alternating between the werewolf and the knife, that the moron thought it was an excellent thing to sneak on a child, while in dog form, before transforming just in front of him.

Anybody else would know it was a bad idea, but the man was a few bottles short of the bottle case, and thus appear just in front of Harry screaming.

"Waaaaa!"

Passing from a calm, noiseless environment to an agitated and loud one badly startle him. Instinctively reacting, his body responds by a bout of accidental magic. The problem was, under his focused state, his thoughts hijack the accidental magic, and under his will, banished the silver knife to the man.

While possessing the natural reaction time need as a werewolf, Remus was unable to do a thing for two reasons. The first was that a full moon happens two days before, and the fact that it was a silver knife.

With the sudden loud noise, all turn their head to the two, just in time to see the surprised face of Harry and the knife bolt to Remus and Lily's direction. All looked in morbid fascination and horror at the course of the blade.

Due to the short space between the coffee table and the man, the blade was on him in a second. The reason no one reacts was that even knowing that the edge was pure silver, the table was barely thigh-hight.

The problem, though, was at the time, Remus had it's back facing Harry and Sirius position, and so he completely turns. While he was just in time for the edge of the razor-sharp blade only to graze his leg, he let another part of his anatomy completely vulnerable.

~~~
As the blade draw all gaze to it, all seen it cut cleanly the worn pant leg, cut a thin line on the fleshes, making a sizzling sound, before it reaches a more physical sheath. The reaction was immediate, Remus already weakened from the full moon crumble limply on the group while howling in pain at the silver knife embedded in his body, burning him.
Pandemonium erupts, and it was only due Lily snapping them all of their state that something was done.
~~~

Taking her wand out, she immediately stuns the werewolf to alleviate most of the pain, before snapping.

"Peter, call Poppy, now!"

Broken out of his flunk by the yell of Lily, he nearly throws himself in the fireplace, before remembering that he needs to throw some Floo Powder in first.

"Poppy, it urgent, when need your help!"

Thankfully for the group, the Hogwarts matron was on the secret, just in case they would need urgent healing. Ten seconds later, the woman exits the hearth while Dumbledore flame in, having been alerted by her first.

"What the matter, who need help?" Said her in a calm voice, after seeing that everyone seems relatively safe.

As the other three were still under the shock and Harry unable to respond, it falls to Lily to do it.

"Remus, he was just impaled by a silver knife!"

Taking into account the gravity of the moment, she nods thoughtfully.

"I won't be able to do anything here; we will need to bring him to Hogwarts." Said her, while glancing at Dumbledore, who had to stay quiet until now.

Receiving an approving nod, she had. "I will need Severus too; I don't have the necessary balms with me to treat him."

"I will go first then." Respond the aged wizard, before flaming back with his trusted phoenix.

Poppy levitated the downed werewolf, before making her way to the fireplace, followed closely by Lily who had caught Harry in passing, vanishing in her turn.

~~~
By the time the three men arrive in the infirmary of the castle, the newly appointed Potion teacher enters the ward, robes billowing behind him, his patent sneers already on his lips.
"Potter, I should have known it would have something to do with you, I can't even pass a year in the post before being called to rescue you." Drawl the man, taking quite the pleasure to drive the nail deeper, and seeing that it worked more than well.
The incident was still very fresh in his mind, and his hatred was burning fiercely. He lost his sneer, however, at the sight of his past friend. He had heard of her bearing the child of the man and had always refused to see it, fearing to witness the birth of a second James Potter.
It was why he froze for a moment at seeing the child appearance. Nothing of the hated man could be seen in him, if nothing, he was an enhanced male version of Lily. From what he could see, he was also nothing like his exuberant father, on the contrary; the child seems to hold a disturbingly amount of intelligence in those deep emerald eyes of his.
Yes, from what he could tell the boy was nothing like his father, perhaps there was still hope after all.
"Severus?"
Snapping out of his trance, he immediately responds to the call of the medicwitch. Nodding, he took his wand, enervating the man while she turns him on his back. As soon as released from the stunning spell, Remus was immediately struck with a 'Pretrificus Totalus, rending his body straight and still as a board.
In this state, it came evident for the three new ones, why they were called.
The magical nurse, while experimented couldn't help the "Ho, my!" Escaping her lips, while the Potion master what staring blankly at the handle of the knife, the only part of the blade not lodged in the man groin. While his face was blank, Severus Snape was for the first time in his life, nearly bursting in laughter, thinking that karma was a bitch.
It was only for his impressive Occlumency skills that nothing appears on his face, even if he needs a few seconds to gather himself internally.
"... And pray to tell, how this." Say him gesturing at the standing knife, "had happened?" Finished the man, with a neutral voice.
"I am quite curious myself how such particular incident happens." Curiously asked Dumbledore, stroking his bread pensively, trying and failing to imagine how it could have happened.
Before any could respond, Poppy made herself know.
"You both can satisfy you gossiping enquires, but not here, I have a patient to treat!" Say her firmly, before waving her wand, erecting privacy screen around the bed, and start her work.
~~~

Following the matron advice, the group move further in, leaving her the place to operate her particular branch of magic.

"So, tell me, how did this happen? Sirius, you seem silent, my boy, are you alright?" Enquired Dumbledore, knowing well that he had indeed something to do with the incident.

Hearing the older man words, his ears turn deep red, while lowering his head, ashamed and horrified that he was responsible for the mutilation one of his best friends was suffering. His guilty reaction made Snape raise a brow, but knowing that it would be even better to stay silent and simply wait, savouring one of the sweetest moment of his life, and what will surely bring him a powerful memory to call forth his Patronus for sure.

They didn't have to wait long before Sirius finally start to speak in a small voice, still refusing to look at them.

"Well... While Prong and Wormtail, Remus and Lily's where speaking on their side, Pronglet was all alone on his own, so..." Start him, drawing everyone attention, and making Lily unconsciously tighten her grasp on her son.

"Yes?" Dumbledore's voice encouraging Sirius with a calm and kindly to better extract the true on the matter.

"... So, I was telling myself, 'hey, why not show him something nice!' So I take out Patfoot..."

It was at this moment that Snape snort, already knowing where it was going, before receiving a chastising glance from the headmaster.

"... I sneak behind Pronglet, ready and all, after all, he was seeming bored and was looking for Lily, so ... I."

"You?" Coaxed Dumbledore when his voice falls, drawing him to breath before continuing his story.

" I kind of jump in front of him shouting 'waa'" mimic him in a despondent voice, before finishing. " the next thing I see is Harry being startled, and the potion knife near on a coffee table being banished to Moony, nailing him ... him in the nuts."

"Fascinating." Say Dumbledore for himself pensively while Snape snorted, before all look at the first in a strange way. "That young Harry show such magic at this young age indicates a rather strong disposition for magic." Clear him at their stares directed at him.

'Yes he sure his nothing like his father, I wonder if he would be interested in a set of potion knives.'

While Snape's thoughts weren't the healthiest to baby welfare, the man could be excused as he was feeling rather good, knowing that one of his past bullies had been painfully wounded in such way was like a balm to his soul.

~~~
While each was personally thinking of the incident and its possible fallout, they were interrupted by the moving sound of screens opening.
Turning all to the woman approaching them, they know that the news wasn't that good from her tight face.
"What can you tell us from Remus state, Poppy?"
The woman sighs while shaking her head, making its friends fear for the worst.
"You all know that werewolves and silver don't mix well. The time I start to treat him, the damaged done were already irreversible due to the interaction of silver. Because the blade's width, the damages had extended on a large portion. Poor Mr Remus had both his testicles skewered and completely rotten by silver' poisoning, add to that, two-third of his penis girth had been slashed open. Like his testicles, the fleshes had been rotten nearly immediately. By the time Severus had petrified him, everything was lost, only this had saved further internal damages. His bladder shows some minor damages, nothing life-threatening, but I didn't have other choices but to process to a total ablation. Some inner working will need to accommodate to his new disability." Said her clinically.
This turned to be the last stroke for Sirius. Learning the extent of his friend injury du his action had turned him ghostly pale, hearing about total ablation made him faint on the spot. James and Peter weren't far from Sirius, while Dumbledore was mourning the death of such strapping example of masculinity.
Out of the group, only Lily and Snape were experiencing a completely different feeling. Snape, for his part, was internally jubilating that a toddler had emasculated the beast that nearly kills and/or turn him.
'Yes, a full set of the finest Potion's preparation knives set will do nicely. from what I hear his birthday is near, it should do nicely.'
The diagnostic of Lupin state completely heals the last of ressentiment he feels for the man, even earning some for Black as of his reaction and implication, yes, life started to turn good to Severus Snape.
Lily was another example of positive feeling. With the were completely 'cured' for any possible assault, she was now safe from this type of danger, all thank her little angel.
Lastly, Harry was the only one indifferent of the were fate.
'Don't come sniffing around my kins anymore!'
